“Mary did you know” and their original “Snowglobe” are two that I would highly recommend and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t hear these - these are wonderful
Chris ( cowboy hat ) is Adam’s brother co founder of the group. He left in 2016 and Chance replaced him. Tim just released his solo of Why Do Fools Fall In Love. I think you will like it 😊
You're the only one I've heard mention Adam's little smile at the beginning. I've always loved it. I appreciate so much how they pay respect to the original song, which should be sacred, while making it so gorgeously original.
This song was my first introduction to Home Free--and they've been my favorite musicians ever since! Love it when these guys voice the bell tones🔔 Besides the unbelievable harmonies--and gorgeous church backdrop--getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree #HomeFreeDoesChristmasBest #AdamRuppSinging
So gorgeous. Love the bell tones. And the waterfall "fall". And the amazing harmonies. Their glorious version of Angels We Have Heard on High was recorded in the same site.
Great reaction and breakdown coach. Try Home Free- "Snow Globe." Chance really carries the bass in that song, very smooth and silky. It's a very romantic holiday song written by Tim.
Really, this is my favorite Christmas song, thanks to seeing an older, dramatic live version at my grandmother’s so many years ago. And Home Free has certainly added their own very worthy rendition to the canon of versions of this Christmas classic.
Although from Alabama, the country twang in the southern men was offputting at first. Then I decided it was "warmer" than a more pristine voice in many instances. Now, Voctave and Home Free are my two vocal families!
you are correct. He said he has revisited it a few times in the last 20+ years, usually when the singers around him were different, but it is basically the original arrangement. Watching some of the videos from this holiday tour, it sounds like he has tweaked it again to use Chance instead of Chris. I know that now Rob has that short 'solo' that Chris had. But why toy with perfection, right?
Hey, I just love your reaction videos, and your reaction style. I can see you are enjoying the Home Free videos, but there's a whole side of Home Free you haven't explored yet, I love you listening to a lot of their fun songs, but please never forget they can be very serious, and are masters of conveying emotions through song as well. You really need to listen to "Helplessly Hoping", "Brothers in Arms", "In the blood", and "Go Rest High on that Mountain". Also, their collabs with Peter Hollens "Amazing Grace" and "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" are wonderful, you already know Peter Hollens.
Ok I hope you know that Dan just put out O holy night it is the best ever all I can say is wow !!!!!!!!! It will bring a tear to you eyes please check it out it is truly Amazing it’s up there with Amazing Grace 🙏🙏🙏❤️
The only one you might not know is Chris Rupp, in the cowboy hat, who founded this group along with his Brother, Adam ! Adam Chance joined the group when Chris left for a solo career
Such a wonderful Christmas hymn, sung beautifully by #HomeFree! Next up you must react to What Child Is This arranged by Chris Rupp (cowboy hat in this one, and co-founder of the group), feat. Home Free, it's the only one that I know of where they are all - Chance included! - singing together, and the arrangement is phenomenal!!
It's Tim, yes, because Adam Chance wasn't with the group back then. I'll bet Adam (Rupp) is smiling because he's happy to be singing for a change. The "stranger" is Chris Rupp, Adam's brother, who was a founding member, but left the group to pursue other things. Tim wrote this arrangement when he was only 19. LOVE your detail - I'm learning about music from you.
Can't get over 12 year old Austin. He'd get carded trying to go into Middle School. I know nothing but that's the best version of this song I ever heard.
I love Tim's vibrato too! Omg, you have to hear him sing "Can't Help Falling in Love". It's the most beautiful I've ever heard him sound. His range, the ascending & descending runs, his vibrato. It's really so beautiful. You can find it on his YT channel. Just know the music video is just an image of himself. It was from an album he did many years ago.
If you are reviewing performances of O Holy Night, be sure to include the new Pentatonix video! It's absolutely awesome! ‼️‼️ But this video by Home Free was my 1st introduction to this modern a capella & I've loved them ever since! They are so sweet, down to earth & talented! ❤
I agree the lack of hand movement shows the proper reference for this song however wearing the cowboy hat in church would have never flown in my family that aside this performance was excellent
The man you didn't recognize is Chris he is the brother Adam and one of the original founders of Home Free. He also is as talented as the rest of the boys and Adam Chance is his replacement.
I don't think Foust's voice has dropped. Most reactors have trouble with the width of his range. Reading that he has a five-octave range is one thing. Listening to him sing an entire song in his head voice is entirely another.
Remembering that the studio recording as usual is being Lip Sync'd to by the boys - but, THEIR OWN Voices are being played through loudspeakers in this Gorgeous Church with acoustics they likely enjoyed the rich resonances therein .... sure wood be a wonderful place to be then. Home Free ! None nearly as good. jj
why do people say 'lip syncing' when they are likely really singing? You can look at the vocal tract and body and see that they are actually producing sound. No matter how good you are at 'lip syncing', the body will betray that you're not making any sound. It's just that the sound they're making isn't actually the soundtrack of the video.
Not appropriate, but as we used to say in the 60's-70's....enough emotion to make you "cr**m your jeans"....just saying. And when you're 70, that is definitely saying something!!! (I guess I'm still alive)
“Mary did you know” and their original “Snowglobe” are two that I would highly recommend and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t hear these - these are wonderful
My favorite version and so nice to see and hear Adam and his brother Chris standing together singing. Thanks for the Home Free reactions.
Thank for your reaction. If you have a chance, I think you would really enjoy their cover of "Angels We Have Heard on High".
Chris ( cowboy hat ) is Adam’s brother co founder of the group. He left in 2016 and Chance replaced him.
Tim just released his solo of Why Do Fools Fall In Love. I think you will like it 😊
Tim arranged this song at age 18 or 19. He is so well rounded!!❤
You're the only one I've heard mention Adam's little smile at the beginning. I've always loved it. I appreciate so much how they pay respect to the original song, which should be sacred, while making it so gorgeously original.

Love it when these guys voice the bell tones🔔

Tim is the best singer ever ,so beautiful, love his voice❤
So gorgeous. Love the bell tones. And the waterfall "fall". And the amazing harmonies. Their glorious version of Angels We Have Heard on High was recorded in the same site.
Definitely my favorite version of this song, great arrangement but still simple and respectful! Great job breaking it down. Low bass Kenneth
So beautiful. Love the bell tones and waterfall effects. They sing Angels We Have Heard on High in this same church. Good one!😄🤩
Love your Home Free reactions!
Great reaction and analysis. Any time all of them sing it is special.
Great reaction and breakdown coach. Try Home Free- "Snow Globe." Chance really carries the bass in that song, very smooth and silky. It's a very romantic holiday song written by Tim.

Beautiful Song, loved the reaction 🔥
🎶🎵✨️ Holy Moly ... smooth ... 🌟😇💫🎶🎵🙂
😇 Angelic❤ Great reaction.🤠🔥

Wow, how great these guys are.
Tim arranged this when he was 18 or 19 i think he said in an interview.. Someone correct me if im wrong

This is so very beautiful! I get goosebumps every time I hear this. Love your reaction!
Tim is from Texas, of course he's going to sound like that.
Ok I hope you know that Dan just put out O holy night it is the best ever all I can say is wow !!!!!!!!! It will bring a tear to you eyes please check it out it is truly Amazing it’s up there with Amazing Grace 🙏🙏🙏❤️
The cowboy hat is Chris Rupp Adams brother
The Minnesota Cathedral is resplendent in white, high vaulted ceilings and Harmonics of this incredible Vocal Group ! GBjj
The only one you might not know is Chris Rupp, in the cowboy hat, who founded this group along with his Brother, Adam ! Adam Chance joined the group when Chris left for a solo career
I fell in love with them during The Sing Off. I saw them in person after that. As far as I'm concerned, they are the best accapella group ever.

😊
Tim sang tenor in one of his previous vocal groups.
I love Tim's vibrato too! Omg, you have to hear him sing "Can't Help Falling in Love". It's the most beautiful I've ever heard him sound. His range, the ascending & descending runs, his vibrato. Thank you, this sounds like a "must listen!" 👍

PTX O Holy Night reaction coming next week! 😊👍 as for Home Free, agree they are not only talented but seem like nice and humble guys!
AUSTIN BROWN - BRING HIM HOME on his channel. Please.😊
Try Angelina 8 days ago singing ,,, unchained melody ,,, Nobel peace prize ceremony
If you het the chance please listen to Foxes and Fossils version absolutely beautiful.
I agree the lack of hand movement shows the proper reference for this song however wearing the cowboy hat in church would have never flown in my family that aside this performance was excellent
I think he wore the hat because he doesn’t have a lot of hair
Please react also morrisette version of oh holy nights.thank you..God bless....
Cowboy hat Chris Rupp origonal member.
What were u doing when u were 19? Tim was arranging this masterpiece!
The man you didn't recognize is Chris he is the brother Adam and one of the original founders of Home Free. He also is as talented as the rest of the boys and Adam Chance is his replacement.
Yes now that you mentioned it, I think I saw him in one other video! Do you know if he’s still singing now?
I don't think Foust's voice has dropped. Most reactors have trouble with the width of his range. Reading that he has a five-octave range is one thing. Listening to him sing an entire song in his head voice is entirely another.

Tim's vocals are as always outstanding. The arrangement is lacking, even for a more country vibe.
