What can you say? Pujols has been a great player throughout his career. Ups and downs, he still persisted. So glad he came back for his final season as a Cardinal!!!!!!!
How can you not like a Pujols or Cabrera or Ohtani or Trout or Beltre or or or? I saw the whole Bonds chase to 700 then 755. I forgot who but they described it as the "joyless march to the inevitable." There was a cloud over that chase, and it wasn't just the suspected juice usage, it was Bonds' poopy attitude. He was and is a stuck up a-hole.
This is one of the greatest moments in my time watching baseball. Such a stellar athlete and from everything I've read/heard, just a solid all-around person. What a thrilling chase to watch when he just exploded in the second half of this season, and what an exclamation point to his stellar career. See you in Cooperstown.
If you listened to just the crowd you would think it's a world series game in St. Louis... amazing how even the Dodger fans were rooting for him. What a career

albert was much loved his one year in dodger blue. he was grace, class, and pure joy, and he'll always have a home here. i'm just glad we had such a huge lead in the standings that we could afford to toss him two meat balls to get it done in LA XD
I never thought I’d have a problem with him hitting 700 but the frickin game was on AppleTV, many Cardinals fans were unable to see this and the voice of the Cardinals, Dan McLaughlin, wasn’t able to make the call. Yes it’s awesome he did it but WTF MLB?!? 🖕🏻
He could have had 800 home runs if his Angels career had gone better. Many people forgot about him the last few years. Said he was washed. Going back to the Cardinals was the best thing for him. He is playing like he is in his prime again.

Anyone who isn't happy to see this guy who played his career the right way win or lose and go through the issues of the last few years either don't understand or never played the game.. from being the "MACHINE", to being injury prone the last few seasons, being in a toxic organization to going back where it all began and going back to the 1800s and accomplishing what only 3 players before he did. In 5 yrs I'd be willing to bet Mariano will no longer have the highest vote percentage, you can vote and he doesn't receive 100%? Whoever doesn't vote his way needs the Hall vote pulled... congrats to the living legend
At least Albert Pujols’ milestone home run didn’t spoil the Dodgers’ save opportunity in the 9th inning cause if that happened, he would’ve shocked the entire Dodger nation. 😂
