Why are Ned and Todd the 3rd and 4th in line? I didn't think Ned liked violence outside of the Bible. (For those who don't know, the Bible is actually rather graphic)
Very true. The word of God is glorious but not all sunshine and rainbows. Not every hero in there were pacifists. People in the Old Testament (children of God especially) went to war all the time.

The best part is how there’s no reason for the bridge to go up, other than to drop that one guy in the river.
Unfortunately for him, it’s on an automated timer.
Also unfortunately for us. We will never see how he lived

I know this episode is past The Simpsons' prime, but remember that episode where Flanders went to make a series of Bible movies?

0:01 Sloppy animators draw Flanders and one of his sons near the front of the line...for the "Itchy and Scratchy Movie"?!? I hardly think so!
Flanders is clueless i guarantee he saw that movie like how my uncle took his son to animal house thinking it was a kids movie
Remember he went to see "Chris Rock in concert", thinking it was a "Christian rock concert".
Hey, Wiggum thought his Bob Saget tickets said Bob Seger.
The whole line is a gag. The animators didn’t try and it’s full of animation errors.
It’s no error. Like “NRA 4EVA”, the Simpsons were the pioneers of freeze frame gags.
