Hi mate, if you pull the black plastic handle out of its holder on the boot mat you can clip it to the rubber boot surround and it hold up its self. Just a little tip for you.

Hi mate, there should be no unconnected cables once hooked up. You will have two cables from the asr module and each will connect to one of the two cables from the car. Hope this helps.
I went to fit my ASR today and have the same question Josh - surely if you’re unplugging the two cables in the video to insert them into to ASR wiring, that leaves you with two loose ends?
Hey Femto, double check with the video that you have the cables hooked up exactly like mine. I had this issue my first try and It was because I had the cables wrong. Hope you get it all running :)

@@russellglover7193yeah, the problem was actually with the exhaust flap actuator. Took it to mercedes and they replaced it under warranty. After that the asr module worked fine

Was excited to see that your discount code worked but when I entered my shipping address to complete the purchase I received an error message saying “delivery in my area unavailable”.I’m located in the U.S and the only other module available is the renntech module which is twice as much as the asr one.

Hey I purchased it and installed it. There are two loose clips was I supposed to clip those two together? The problem I’m having is it appears the module makes my car louder but does not turn it back to factory settings. Wondering if you have advice regarding these 2 matters

Hi, The ASR module should work for the convertible the same as the saloon here. You just need to make sure you get the right box (one for facelift and one for prefacelift) and will need to check your car has the AMG performance exhaust option. (If you have the button in the interior you know you have it).

you need the performance exhaust to have valves and use this module. But as you don't have it get the Ipe exhaust it comes with a remote like shown here

This only works with the AMG performance exhaust which is a stock but factory optional extra. If you have the exhaust button in the centre console you should be able to hook this up.

If you turn the car off having it opened, does it start back up with valves open without pushing the button?
Yep! It remembers so once the values are open they stay open till you press the button again. This means you get some really nice cold starts :)

Is it a case that you don’t touch one of the plugs which has the foam around it and just the smaller one?
You have also a module for the CLA45s , why don't you buy one for the CLA45s?
I decided not to do this on the 45s, mainly cos I was so happy after the PCW exhaust mod we did.
HI, did you ever ran into an issue where the ASR module does not work? I just installed mine and the buttons on the remote do not affect the flaps.

Yep the values will be open fully all the time till you press the button to close them.

It’s hard to capture on video. It’s a minor increase but noticeable. Quite a lot of money for a small change though!

The car is a 2019 C43. Its the facelift model so it needs the facelift asr. There's a different module for prefacelift.
