CAI, downpipes, stage 2 ecu tune, tcu tune, iridium spark plugs, aftermarket exhaust, intercooler, suspension lowering springs, lightweight hood, tires with low roll resistance, unplugging the infamous oil pump solenoid, those should all work together to make a very fast car
I got a 2019 C43 that’s full bolt on 93 making 450hp to the wheels and probably 550 crank. Very fast car I could only imagine how it would be if I were to upgrade the fuel pumps
As of 2024, there just isn't enough support for this platform... Weistec JUST made a CAI, but there aren't: Head bolt upgrade, rod/piston upgrade, which are weak points as mentioned. You'd end up putting a lot of money into something that honestly can be attained by getting a newer vehicle (RS3 with a tune makes around 550-600 with ease). I love my C450, but unless i want to put more money into it than jts worth at this point, it's simply not realistic. I'll stick with 450ish to the wheels with some issues (timing chain, jerky trans) and run it into the ground (or sell it right before) because that makes sense imho. Luckily, as a VW group auto tech, ownership is mad cheap. 😅
Dude, I'm thinking of buying my mate 2017 c43amg. If I do, I want 500hp or close to it. You just answered all of my questions. Thank you, man. I'm getting my mates car now.
@8020Media he's one of my best mates, and he only drives it 10km a day if that. He's had it for 6 years, and it's barely been over 100km and hour. We've yet to discuss the price, but I'll get it below market value. Your clip certainly consolidated my decision. It seems an affordable car with that extra X-factor.
The CAI’s that most brands offer heatsoak, since they are right above the engine. Logos offers some that are by the front but most don’t seem worth it. You might get some better sound and throttle response but you are basically sucking hot air into the turbos. From what i know stock intakes with upgraded air filters (K&N or BMC) is the move.
About to add C43 AMG biturbos to my C32 AMG compounding through the M112K Supercharger with F1 interchiller on flex fuel E85 all custom fab car designed to run Drag n Drive events.
@@8020Mediacatted sound better a lot less rasp and no smell , but catless gives you more a bit more airflow. Pretty much comes to preference, if you don’t want to pay as much and don’t mind smell and rasp go with catless.
Dang man don't even both buying one of these and trying to tune it in CA! We got restrictions up the whazoo here... Can't even purchase those BMS intakes
I put Logo's engineering downpipes, cold air intake, and a Eurocharged stage 2 tune but I have no idea what it dyno's at though. I have 2018 C43 Coupe and I think engine internals are next. oh i deleted the resonator as well and now it sounds like a rachet G37 haha!
So im looking into getting a c43 amg, around a 2017 or 2018. Im wanting to keep it as reliable as possible since it would be my daily, would I be able to just throw on downpipes and an exhaust without having to remove the cats ?
I have wheels that I bought for a c300, and I would like to put them on my 2018 c43 amg. But the caliper on the c 43 is huge would not alow the wheel fit, do you think using spacers work to get over that caliper in the front. and what mm of a spacer do you think would work??
That would depend a lot on the size of the wheels you're trying to fit. A spacer would just make the wheels stick out a bit further, not necessarily give more clearance height wise if the wheels are like 17's or something tiny you are trying to get to fit.
I have a Mercedes 2015 W212 E400 3.5 biturbo m276 (J Spec), would these mods also be safe for my engine, so far i only have BMS intakes and a eurocharge tune rated at 480HP, no one seems to know much about my engine though....
To be honest I'm not super familiar with it but from what I can tell structurally it is very similar to the DE30LA minus less boost and a different turbocharger. I would say pretty confidently that the max power levels on the two are going to be very similar, so yeah I think all of these mods would be applicable and safe for you too just keep it around the 500whp mark.
@@8020Media thanks ya I’m on my way there lol, I have a euro charge stage 2 tune, downpipes, fi exhaust and tryna get the intercooler, finding one that is compatible is the prob, do you think the intercooler that would fit the E43 or C43 be ok for mine? Last question I promise lol
Your best bet might be to try to find your factory intercooler part # and see if it matches the C43/E43. They very likely could be the same unit but at the same time I'm not sure what chassis changes were made to house the 3.5 vs the 3.0. The intercooler itself would definitely work its just a question of whether the mounting points will line up and the intercooler piping will match. If you can get the intercooler itself to line up you could just get some piping fabbed to line up. But sorry I can't say off the top of my head that it would or wouldn't work.
Newby here - I just a bought low kms 2017 pre-facelift c43 AMG as a daily driver with AMG Race Seats, AMG Performance Exhaust, AMG Alloy Wheels . i hope it’s as much fun as my m4, always wanted one that looks like a baby c63. I did test drive a stock c43 a while back but found them to be a little lack lustre. Does anyone know if there is an equivalent to BootMod3 (BMW TUNING SOFTWARE) for the Mercedes c43? stage 1 tune is so easy on the bimmer and i loved tinkering with the settings myself using just a laptop or iphone & OBD cable adapter or do i have to chip it by a professional tuner?
D - Sounds like a nice daily! When it comes to tuning, there are a bunch of options. AMR or Eurocharged might be your best bet, but it's not quite like bootmod3's UI.
DME is way better than Eurocharged or AMR, AMR pays people to give them good reviews, eurocharged is a brutal tune and is crazy expensive (2,200$ for stage 1). DME is ur best bet for stage 1, they give u good extra power and remove the limiter nonsense
