This song brought Dimash to tears in Dec 2019 in New York as it was his dream to sing in the US, but also that he sang it in his native language and the crowd sang it with him - in his language - very emotional!!
This whistle note is D8 held for 5 seconds with vibrato. This is the highest note ever sung in a live concert. He has sung many whistle notes in his 7th & 8th Octaves in other live performances, although this is the highest. Because of his incredible range and vocal flexibility, he is able to make the impossible look easy. No other singer in the world could sing this song as Dimash did. The most impressive thing about this young man and this composition is that tens of thousands of people across the world, of all languages, sing along with this song and know all the words. As a former singer in a late 1970's anti-disco band (Play That Funky Music was as close as we would get), I love your reactions. He wrote Unforgettable Day as a teenager. In an interview he gave to Emre, a Turkish singer and music coach, Dimash admitted that his vocal cords are longer. He also doesn't measure his range. in the same interview with Emre, he noted it's about emotion, telling the story, noting one of idols, Michael Jackson only had a two to three octave range but was a great singer. Also, when you review Sinful Passion, do the most common version where he comes out in black tux. The song was performed live by the original band that wrote it. two decades earlier. The original singer died. Dimash decided to sing a tribute with the original band members. Dimash reinterpreted what used to be a fairly upbeat song and inserted a funeral cry as a salute to the original singer in the middle of the song. This explains why this version of Sinful Passion is more serious than later versions and explains the look at the end of the guitar player. They were mourning and astonished what had been preserved for the ages.

Wow! What a great reaction. Your smiles said it all: Dimash is awesome. When you talked early on about his taking us for a journey, you tapped into one of the things folks like so much about him: he's a storyteller, and he weaves his fans into the tale. I've never seen anyone so proficient at doing that. Add in the voice....and it's Di-magic!
I have been watching Dimash for over 2 years, now love watching others going down the rabbit hole as well. As you can see from your views, I am not alone. Appreciate that you are going back and watching in order, not every performance on The Singer needs to be viewed. Must sees are... S.O.S. (slavic performance or from the show). Opera 2, show must go on, Adagio, Sinful Passion, Hello and Love is like a dream. You have seen ogni pietra and this performance to see his range, each of these songs will show you a different style, different languages, 20 second runs and note holds, emotion, control, it's an awesome journey and pretty much every performance has something unique to offer. Look forward to the video next Monday.

I love how he ramps his whole body to move to the D8, waving his arm and shifting his body to support it, he's so emotive and even a casual watcher can learn a lot about using the body to support singing, not just using breath, but posture and movements to aid the voice without tension.

Thank you so much!❤ In China, Dimash became known as "the Security killer" - because instead of having to drag his fans away from *him* all the time, they were having to drag *Dimash* away from his beloved Dears!😉😂 He'd spot his moment, then literally jump off the stage and RUN to get closer to the crowd, to be amongst them, shake hands, to interact and have them sing with him - he honestly loves it so much, the joy on his face is unmistakable! You see, Dimash doesn't see himself as anything special, that "stars" are those things in the sky, and he's just ordinary human being who can sing - well, Dimash, I beg to differ... in fact, it's a struggle to think of anyone LESS ordinary than you!😍❤

Idk what I like more
That incredible chart or that incredible sweater
wow, you went over! You study the history of the song, the lyrics, you analyze the vocal details, the interpretation, you even made a table !!
And the best, you get excited!
A pleasure to see you react.
I think that you now realize why he is considered the best voice (singer) in the world
I think you can now say I'm A Dear welcome to Dimash world enjoy the journey x
Hi Elizabeth. Love your channel. Great list you have of Dimash. Isnt he great! Cant wait until next video
Great reacción 👌👍
DIMASH the best
Please reacctión- Dimash YOUR LOVE..
Amazing! One of the rare performances from Dimash! Sad that now all his performances on pre-record. I miss his live performances. Even on his concertes most of the hard singing songs on pre-record. And this is not his fault. Studios which he works with, contracts, trying to care his voice and many reasins here. I understand. We can only wait and watch old performances like this one. Love you all! Peace!
Same. I miss when he wasn't forced to lipsync. But I mean I don't blame him whatsoever lol
Anticipating this. Love vocal coaches reacting to those two dolphin notes and trying to measure them with a keyboard too short. ))
Hi Elizabeth ...!!! so greatful to you for that incredible reaction of yours....what else can we say about KING DIMASH.....SIMPLY AMAZING...!!!!! other than that ... you are one of the most beautiful vocal coaches . became your FAN FROM NOW ON.....THANK YOU AGAIN, BLESSINGS TO YOU
Thank you for another great reaction and I cannot wait for all your other reaction videos of Dimash - I'd like to point out - he might be doing the mic trick at the 8 minute mark to show this is not a recording and that it is him singing in the moment.
I love how he ramps his whole body to move to the D8, waving his arm and shifting his body to support it, he's so emotive and even a casual watcher can learn a lot about using the body to support singing, not just using breath, but posture and movements to aid the voice without tension.
He's making me emotional.
Simplemente MARAVILLOSO, MAGNÍFICO, MÁGICO !!!!🌹🌹🌹❤❤❤💪💪💪
Thank you very much for your reaction❤❤❤ Dimash is magic, with his wonderful voice and his perfect interpretation❤❤❤❤❤
Welcome to D8 Dimashified by Dimash Kudaibergen..
This man needs so much more exposure and recognition..... I've really no more words for him.. I've commented on tons of his performances and reactions and I'm running out of things to say about his sheer amazingness
You should consider the video entitled, Times When Dimash Had Fun With His Voice or Forgot He Was Human. Whistle is not unusual for Dimash.
wow thanks to dimash i found this gorgeous singer. im in love

His voice control is amazing💕😍💕😍
such a dedicated reactor/vocal coach . i love it . keep it that way . we all got Dimashed . love from Borneo .
Remember D8mash sang live in his concert so his stamina must be reduce but he could sing like that. I believe he can reach more than D8,, 😊 😀
By the way - Dimash composed this beautiful song when he was still a teenager.
thanks for seeing our suggestions list .and yes this is the note we are talking about .you are amazing and have a pure reactions so keep going .
You see, Dimash doesn't see himself as anything special, that "stars" are those things in the sky, and he's just ordinary human being who can sing - well, Dimash, I beg to differ... in fact, it's a struggle to think of anyone LESS ordinary than you!😍❤
Tricia K This fact made me sooooooo floored. I’ve never heard anyone do that.
The way you talk while explaining makes me think that you are about to cry of happiness without any particular reason.
His note was Soooo high that my lenses cracked!!😅👍I love Dimash!!!
Amazing Dimash si D8mash for me , greetings from Chile 🇨🇱😷🇨🇱😷🇨🇱
Welcome to Dimash`s world. Dimash, a (amazing) alien between us!
👏👏👏👏👏cool reaction. We love Di
Elisabeth, hi. I absolutely admire your emotional reactions to Dimash's art. Nice to see your systemic approach to pick up every one of the Dimash videos in youtube. They are all unique and contain vocal specialties. May I ask you to devote some of other weekdays to other singers. For this I recommend a very young girl who became extremely popular among reactioners all over the globe. This is Diana Ankudinova from Russia. Please start from Wicked Game. I am sure you won't be disappointed with this unique and powerful mesmerizing contralto. She is 15 at the moment of this performance, which took place a year ago.
YES! I'm planning to devote a later weekday (probably Fridays) to other singers. Diana Ankudinova is on the short-list for candidates right now, and I will definitely react to her within a few weeks (if not this week). I've never heard her before, and am very excited to!
@@TheCharismaticVoice I second the motion Elizabeth, Diana rocks big-time. Igor krutoy took her under his wing, gave her an apartment in Russia. And she's doing awesome, would love to hear you explain her voice, good luck with that one :-) big hugs..
The first time I head DImash I thought he was incredible. Now you have blown me away again! Well done Elizabeth. 😎
The first time I heard that high note I thought for a second it was feedback on the mic until he does that slight modulation in the middle. He's proof aliens are real. LOL.
Wow....
Wow...
Wow...

Love and enjoy your reaction.
Hi, yes Dimash is UNIQUE God made him and then he threw the molds away.Stay safe
De verdad me ENCANTAN tus reacciones a Dimash.
Eres Genial, al igual que Dimash.
Saludos cordiales desde Chile.
I'm an American living in Budapest. Dimash has become a regular part of my daily life! What a gift from God he is! Also, Elizabeth, you look especially beautiful in this reaction video. Thanks for a great reaction. Cheers!
That's his D8. One key off the piano. He feels confident. How much higher could he go.?
How much higher? Only dogs can tell.
wonderfalg 😂😂that’s a good one had me for a sec!
wonder why scientist dont take him to some laboratory and give him chance to hit his highest note
@@NostalgicMem0ries maybe because scientist scared there will be another note make by Dimash.
@@NostalgicMem0ries Honestly, if my livelihood relied on my voice I would probably be wary of allowing doctors/scientists to put things in my throat without a medical need. There is always a risk, even if it is small, with any kind of invasive medical procedure.
Yeah, that’s Dimash ❤️ He can do everything with his voice 😁😁😁 Brilliant 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you for your amazing reaction 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 And hello from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 🌷🌷🌷
never gets old.
