I totally agree with your point. One other reason I think she left and faked her death is because she wants to figure out who she is. She isn't Jinx anymore and she isn't Powder so she wants to figure out who she is but she wants Vi to be happy with Caitlyn and to live her life happily and not have to deal with choosing between anyone. I think when she faked her death she had Vi's happiness in mind and just wanted Vi to be happy with Caitlyn because she knew Caitlyn would love her and care for her as much as Vi will.
its not a happy anding for her life is torture for her... even with Isha she try 4 times to give up and die after isha's death she directly try suicide... why do you think she even try to escape death... she welcome it. Cait would tell Vi if she think she can be alive.... and also she hug warwick

He is. He become the hero in the end for saving everything. Maybe he'll somehow figure out Jinx/Powder is alive and go looking for her? That's my guess at least that's what I hope. He'll eventually find her and can have a life together.
To teach Jinx about sacrifice and to introduce higher stakes than the petty squabbles of the factions. It’s about choosing to die to protect others, something Jinx couldn’t understand. She didn’t understand Vander’s sacrifice, or why Silco was okay with dying for her.
Exactly! I spent the entire act waiting for Ekko to go back to save Isha. There were hints that something was going to happen with time travel around explosion (the freeze frame as the explosion is going off, the gear rolling after Viktor gets blasted is different at the beginning and end of the episode). It just seems pointless to introduce such a great character and then just kill her off. Jinx surviving makes the ending less shitty than I initially thought, but still, I didn't care for it. I've been so obsessed over this show and the ending really sucked the enthusiasm I've had for it.
@@Tekkerue yo same 100%, I feel like the last episode was rushed on top of it. They took Jinx's entire family away and then expected us to be satisfied, like what the heck?
@@Nara.Shikamaru But Jinx already understood that before Isha sacrificed herself. When Warwick first shows up in the prison, Jinx looks towards Isha and tells Sevika to get her out. Then Jinx jumps in between them to create a distraction, and she even tried to sacrifice herself so that Isha could escape. Killing Isha off just seemed like a pointless way to push Jinx "over the edge" yet again as if she hasn't been off the edge since ep3.
@@Nara.Shikamaru idk it seems like they just killed her off because they didn't want to have her in future shows. She was already changing for the better and they could have used Isha to move the story even more. The ending was pretty disappointing, the last episode that is.
I think Jinx if alive, walks away because the city needs closure to break the wheel and to heal with Jinx there that will never happen. Jinx finally embraced being Vi's sister, but with Jinx there that would always be a weight on Vi pulling her away from being able to grow and move on from the past and be happy with Caitlynn. Vi has been spending her whole life doing what's best for everyone excpt herself and Jinx wanted Vi to have something more than that. Jinx tells Vi to comfort her that she's always with her so Vi knows she wants Vi to be happy and that's something she's willing to sacrifice herself for.. her sister who now finally means as much to her as JInx did to Vi. The most important thing a sister could ask of a sibling.
Also, notice the sweet little nod from the creator's. The blimp that sails away at the end is the exact same blimp Jinx saw from the rooftops in S1E1 and said "One day I'll ride in one of those". Like, not only the same type of blimp, not only the same viewpoint, it's the exact same piece of Fortice artwork. For real,.. check S1E1 05:20 and S2E9 46:39
Although I love the show, I kinda hate these "fake deaths" writers do sometimes. I guess I understand why they did it, my guess is that the writers wanted her to die, but at the same time they or maybe Riot wanted to have a more ambiguous ending in case they wanted to bring her back in a possible future. I feel like the ending would maybe be better if they didn't had made this explosion, just making her walk away or something. But anyway, great video.
She killed a lot of people in her psycho years, including members of the council. I don't think she would ever have just been able to just walk away. She was always going to either die, or make it appear that she died, after her big redemption arc.
Cuz if she didn't "die" in the final episode there were actually nothing really presentable about that episode other than the marvelous cinematography and jinx/ekko's entrance
@@Saint-XIV well, said sister could've just left. Idk why she thought she could help him if it wouldn't work with any other of viktor's metal puppets, why would it work with him? Does she even know that viktor's gone?
I agree with you 100 percent. Notice that the scene between Cait and Vi ends with Cait staring into space, a little serious, in contrast to what we see a minute earlier, where she smiles and jokes about the fact that Vi is singing. It's like she knew that Jinx being alive was a possibility. Anyway...it was a great and epic show, wasn't it? I'm going to miss it.
Imagine in a future Arcane spinoff series she starts going by a new name perhaps Isha in honor of her little friend/sister who had such a massive impact on her life
If you think about it, Isha sacrificed herself, just so Jinx can survive. I believe Jinx will take Isha's name to live for her and make things right. Isha wanted to be like her adopted mother, a cool personality, while Jinx wants to be Isha, brave curious and keen on learning new things.
Thought the thumbnail was a clickbait but I still clicked anyway, and I just want to say thank you man because I'm not as sad as I was after ending the series & thinking she died..
She is definitely still alive but I think what that ending sequence meant is that her last shred of humanity had died before going full on Jinx. Because Isha did restore some of Powder-Jinx plus if you look at the flashback being shown while they were falling. You can see Vander looking at Violet and Powder sleeping with the lyrics, “if I could just lay my head down and rest..if there was nothing to fight or protect..maybe I could finally be free.. maybe death is like falling asleep..” meaning Powder-Jinx is finally dying, resting deep within her consciousness. While the gun-crazed maniac Jinx takes full control of her body. You know the one that’s wrecking havoc in the current Piltover in League 😅
In all honesty I don’t think any of the leugers died besides ambesa Jynx definitely jumped The bomb ant killing Warwick and it seems that he now might be free if prisms has anything to say out it While jace, victor and himerdinger are probably taking some jaunts thru paralel universes. Wouldn’t be surprised if himerdinger ended up in bandl city While amnbesa was ment to die as her story most likely continues in the fade as kindred seems to have plans for her Also lablank that was just a proxy. One of her greater proxy’s but still not actually her. She’s definitely feeling it thou. Wouldn’t be surprised if she’s semi crippled now or massively depowered (lore wise this is good as her thumb over noxus is weaker and her chains on mortikizer not as strong)
I think jinx could be death all of jinx bombs have a streak of purple you could see that when she tries to blow herself up. Then Caitlyn smile could be from vi singing and the blimb could just be a mirror from episode 1 for the audience we arrive at piltover and now we leave piltover. I see jinx death not as more ambiguous than the deaths of any other champion all of them died due to disintergration, teleportation, explosions or barly defiend magic. I think that any decent writer could write them to come back in a spin-off and have it make sense yet if it not happend and they are really gone than it is a better story with none of there deaths wasted
Fantastic; well done. It was clear for me that she survived; that part wasn’t subtle, but the different [perspective that provides motivation I missed.
Agreed but I still don't like the writers choosing this ending. It's just cruel for her to vanish leaving her sister AND Ekko to mourn her. I understand that, especially with Vi, she has a deep rooted fear that she only brings harm and so might consider this but THIS Jinx has had transformational moments with these two throughout this series and I don't see that kind of cruelty making sense,.. especially just to give the writers a mystery at the end of the show (a mystery everybody and their dog knows cannot be true)
I think Vi either knows or strongly suspects Jinx is still alive. Don't know about Ekko though. But recall Jinx really doesn't have the same connection to Ekko as Ekko does to her. sm
@@ArielLobato-qw1ql agree,.. I didn't think they would believe this permanently, just that the act of making them think this was cruel. If all she wants to do is "walk away" she could explain that, explian that she'll be fine but just elsewhere, and do it. I doubt Vi or Ekko are gonna give up their Zaun/Piltover lives to follow her, She'd need to ask that they keep it secret so others dontfollow, then the cycle would be broken and nobody has to mourn. This just feels like one of those trite "mystery box" devices that is far below writers of this caliber,.. nobody believes it for a second so why do it?
@@poneill65 I think Riot will make a crossover between other tv shows. Like i said, Arcane is tragic but i don't believe the next shows will be tragic too, same dark tone, something like Stranger Things when we thought Hopper died and Eleven cryed in the end of Season 3 but he reunited with Eleven in the end of Season 4. I don't mean Jinx and Vi may return in the next show, they will recover, healing, you know and we can see them again in other shows.
I feel Caitlyn stronglysuspects that Jinx is alive. And, Caitlyn doesn't tell Vi because she knows Vi would go look for her. Caitlyn wants Jinx to have a fair start at a new life (after all crimes had been exonerated). And that makes Caitlyn such a good person, the person we knew she was.I am going to miss these characters.
pretty sure the shimmer trail from the explosion is just the monkey eyes glowing on the grenade, i obviously cant send pictures proving so but if you return to the ekko and jinx scene where she attempts suicide, you can see that same purple line come from the moneky eyes in the explosion frames right when she pulls the pin. I do still think she is alive but i dont think the shimmer line is jinx
in that moment the shimmer trail starts together with the hextech ones but here the purple trail is already far in the 3rd frame before you can even see the hextech trails
@@rrobski man collect your mind and connect the dots... Ekko went to find her while she was ready to commit suicide.. and prevented her 5TIMES with his time machine telling her everytime wait i have to tell you something... The FIFTH time you can see her face and her eyes checking sceptical what Ekko said to her... The viewer (us) doesn't know what told to her but anything that told to her made her to change her mind and fully involve herself in the war to protect the Piltover.. and EVEN she told to VI always with you sis. holding her bazooka.. after that we see Warwick attacking and then comes the whole scene with Ekko fighting Victor. That say to us that Ekko eventually told her that he need her and she has to protect the city with him because he had seen the past and he was in love with her and finally told this to her... So after Victor's defeat they fall all 3 on the platform. And try to save VI telling her to walk to the other side but VI can't so she protect her hitting Warwick and after that they two fall down.. so AFTER ALL of these you think her mind returns in suicide mode again ???? NO she realised that Warwick grabbed her and the only way to escape was to explode him and thats what she did... But before the full explosion warwick releases her and she uses the shimmer speed to go through the vent to save her life from explosion... Jinx put her sister and Ekko OVER Vander ...is so simple because Vander would want that too for Jinx.. to survive
It seems like Vi and Kate story are somewhat continuing to other lands to stop the spread of Hex Tech and shimmer which I can assume it for the future shows set in the world of Rune terra, I can imagine Alt powder will recreate the z drive to find echo and Jix and Warwick are not dead it's hard to kill them. I'm pretty sure that they are going down the MUC route and gonna have the big Final Bad at the end of Rune terra, Jinks is bascily Loki, and Warick is basically the Hulk he might end up becoming more like his game counter part looking more wolf like and no memories of who he was. I'm looking forward to see where they will go next in rune terra this was the best show ever

@@mrbushido56 yeah, but if Jinx decided to leave Piltover and Zaun and go in a different country, why would Caitlyn go after her, it would make sense for Vi to do so but I believe she will be kept in the dark on what happened with Jinx so that leaves Ekko
the alive powder have gems, know how to build the time machine as she worked on it, i have a feeling if jinx is truly dead ( which im sure she isnt ) pounder could time shift and meet alive VI and ekko. so many ways they can make stuff happen.
I thought about that but I don't think she would leave her own version of Ekko, especially considering how it is heavily implied that they are together in the alternate universe
We all know the old unwritten rule in every movie, TV show, etc-- The character is only truly dead if their body is shown on screen. Call it copium, but I strongly believe she's alive!
She aint dead imo. She just left a few things behind. Her whole circle/environement was bound to tragedy/crime/trauma. I honestly think Ekko saved her with what he told her. She "died" off showing both Caitlyn and Vi she was capable of helping for good clearing her "reputation" like Vi asked of her. Then she walked away like "silco" told her to. Even her "tears" seemed more like she was simply sad to look at Vi for the last time. Fear of death wasent even in her mind.
Do u have a discord server would love to bounce ideas off you 4 future plots. I think ekko knows jinx is alive as he only burned 1 paper not 2, remember hermidiger was his friend as well......he also isnt dead i think
Christian Linke the co creator confirmed on a stream that he is still not finished with Heimer so he is alive When it comes to Ekko burning a paper, sincer it happens on that roof, the specific place where he kissed with alternate timeline Powder, there is no chance for it to be related to Heimer or at least I don't see it

I heard from someone that ekko only burned one of those paper things meaning he knows jinx is alive, I’m not sure how true that is, but it would depend on if he knows that heimerdinger essentially respawns, I’ve never played the games but from the show alone it doesn’t seem like he’d have any reason to know that heimerdinger isn’t dead, so the one paper he lights is likely for him. Not sure how valid this theory is tbh.

What ending would you have liked to see? I really feel like I saw this jinx sacrifice moment coming for a while, so I wasn’t really surprised or disappointed by it much. For me the true ending was the completion of the Victor/Jayce arc.
@mattt.edwards I was half expecting it to end on a cliffhanger or in a bad way as most shows do. I feel like Jayce and Viktor will probably return in a different show, I think the crow at the end picking at the hexgem was a hint. I would have loved to see Jinx and VI have a better reunion for starters, I mean last she knew Jinx was going to end her own life, plus the prison scene where Caitlyn frees VI confuses the heck out of me like seriously you are going to frickin make out instead of trying to comfort Jinx when you know she feels like she's lost it all. I would have kept Isha alive personally, have it revealed she didn't die and then have Jinx strive to change after the war is over, Jinx having what she feels something to live for again. I'm not sure if you want a play by play of everything I would change because the last episode would be twice as long and I wouldn't say way different but there would be some changes. I'm going to start a team to make a third season at this point, I'm still left feeling like the end was just to a episode and not the entire show.
@@mattt.edwards I feel like everything was too rushed. For example, the first scene with Viktor and Jayce after Viktor was revived-it felt abrupt. The scene with Vi and Caitlyn having a romantic moment in prison also seemed out of place. Vi’s sister literally told her she will kys herself, and yet she’s there having a romantic moment? Wtf? Ekko’s story with Jinx also felt too short considering the buildup we had with the Hextech and the potential dimensions. Where was that heartfelt interaction between Ekko and our Jinx-not just some other version of her? They cut it off, and I was really disappointed cuz it could be sooo good. The fight between Zaun and Piltover also felt rushed. I highly doubt they’d just suddenly unite like that. It felt like something was missing. The whole Black Rose storyline and how Mel started getting a hold of her powers also felt a little underdeveloped. Jinx’s death, too, lacked impact. I didn’t feel so shocked or moved by it-just "poor Jinx." It felt nothing like the first season. Isha death was far more impactful for me tbh. The worst part is we don’t get to see what happens next. What about their lives afterward? Something, anything, would have helped. The ending didn’t feel impactful or like a proper conclusion. I’m not saying I’d change the story itself, but I think they needed more time to let events sink in. For example, a proper conversation between Ekko and Jinx, maybe showing her changing her mind about helping others, or even bringing in some Isha resemblance or discussion. Vander’s story, too, ended too quickly for my liking. It was good, but with more time, it could’ve been better. There were just too many events, too many plots, and only nine episodes to explore them. That’s an impossible task. Nine episodes for what? Dimension teleportation, mutated people, the story of two cities, and a random Black Rose storyline that came out of nowhere? When did the people of the Undercity actually start seeing Jinx as a symbol? That wasn’t built up at all beforehand. There needed to be more time to let people process these events and make them truly impactful. EDIT: i know jinx may be alive but i still don't like the ending. Sorry english its not my first language.
Let's say it's true, I still have one question. Warwick held her locked in with his claws pretty close. So you're saying she managed to release herself, and escape, just in time before the bomb went off? If so, I believe you. Cause I really want her to be alive. And your opinion is correct. it makes sense that way.
that can definitely happen, he probably hit the gound first and that's when he lets go for a split second and Jinx flashes away while the explosion goes off
The co-creator said "Figure it out, Figure it out" when asked if Jinx is alive. He would simply say that she's dead if it was that simple, just as he did when asked about Heimerdinger, the answer was that he's not done with him.
Question if the little purple line indicates she's alive what narrative purpose does it serve for her to allow VI to think she's dead? Im personally fine interpreting that she's dead but I know people dont like bittersweet endings so I guess the writers had to put some indication that she could be alive
there is a hint to that when they talk in the prison cell "you're never gonna give up on me, are you?" So she knows that Vi would try to go after her if she found out, that would nulify the idea of breaking the cycle by walking away.
@@t2nexx561 but she doesn't see things the same way after the conversation with Ekko so when she chooses to break the cycle and leave she also knows that Vi won't give up on her and she would try to stop or follow her

@@Luizanimado I agree with you, it would’ve been better if we saw her walking away
thanks for the appreciation
She killed a lot of people in her psycho years, including members of the council. I don't think she would ever have just been able to just walk away. She was always going to either die, or make it appear that she died, after her big redemption arc.
If Jinx isn't alive then she got the lamest most unnecessary death on the show....
Definitely
💯
Cuz if she didn't "die" in the final episode there were actually nothing really presentable about that episode other than the marvelous cinematography and jinx/ekko's entrance
Even if she died, her death was not "unnecessary". She died saving her sister.
I'm going to miss it.
it was a very good show
Imagine in a future Arcane spinoff series she starts going by a new name perhaps Isha in honor of her little friend/sister who had such a massive impact on her life
If you think about it, Isha sacrificed herself, just so Jinx can survive.
I'm glad this video made you feel better
Man I'm praying Victor is also on that airship.
lol
Hel nk
victor and jayce are sealed on the rune that was jayce's hand
That sequence is about Vander though, not Powder/Jinx. It's Vander "going to sleep" so the monster he is imprisoned in will die. sm
Jinx is dead, but Powder is alive. I think we can see her again in future projects. i want a crossover one day, with other LoL characters.
Yes. Agree in all points. Jinx didnt want to stand in the way between Violet and Caitlin... She is the coolest character in the series😊
In all honesty I don’t think any of the leugers died besides ambesa
Jynx definitely jumped
The bomb ant killing Warwick and it seems that he now might be free if prisms has anything to say out it
While jace, victor and himerdinger are probably taking some jaunts thru paralel universes. Wouldn’t be surprised if himerdinger ended up in bandl city
While amnbesa was ment to die as her story most likely continues in the fade as kindred seems to have plans for her
Also lablank that was just a proxy. One of her greater proxy’s but still not actually her. She’s definitely feeling it thou. Wouldn’t be surprised if she’s semi crippled now or massively depowered (lore wise this is good as her thumb over noxus is weaker and her chains on mortikizer not as strong)
Warwick?
Jinx has become the batman of piltover
i mean they never showed us a body + its jinx. I think her being alive is the ONLY option here lol
But recall Jinx really doesn't have the same connection to Ekko as Ekko does to her. sm
Yes but maybe Arcane was going to be like that and in the next series Vi and Powder will reunite and won't be "tragic"like this ending.
@@poneill65 I think Riot will make a crossover between other tv shows. in that moment the shimmer trail starts together with the hextech ones but here the purple trail is already far in the 3rd frame before you can even see the hextech trails

Ekko went to find her while she was ready to commit suicide.. and prevented her 5TIMES with his time machine telling her everytime wait i have to tell you something... She aint dead imo. She just left a few things behind. Her whole circle/environement was bound to tragedy/crime/trauma.
I honestly think Ekko saved her with what he told her. She "died" off showing both Caitlyn and Vi she was capable of helping for good clearing her "reputation" like Vi asked of her. Then she walked away like "silco" told her to. Even her "tears" seemed more like she was simply sad to look at Vi for the last time. Fear of death wasent even in her mind.

@@nooshy805 Your version is worse in my very biased subjective opinion.
@@page8301 in my biased opinion my version of Arcane's ending is way better and way happier and leaves way more possibilities for future shows. :)
Question if the little purple line indicates she's alive what narrative purpose does it serve for her to allow VI to think she's dead? there is a hint to that when they talk in the prison cell

the last season but the story continues for some characters and that’s the co creator saying it not me
cope, only Warwick survived, it’s the end of Jinx 😈😢
not cope, confirmed
@ jokes aside, I think Jinx died there , only warwick could possibly escaped that explosion, that “the end” was Jinx’s story ending.
@@aiati why are you discarding all the arguments which make it possible for her to survive, these are not just some fleeting theories but concrete evidence put there intentionally by the writers
@ she was holding on to Warwick and the “will to go” was about her blowing herself up , I just think the most possible outcome is Jinx died there and Warwick escaped , like in episode 7 we could hear Ekko ‘s hitting the grenade away and that’s why they barely survived, this one… I don’t think Jinx could’ve survived that, she wasn’t trying to, her body can’t take the explosion, so I think that happened….
@ Mel even said their story ain’t over yet but Jinx got hers ended here.
this is some insane copium
it’s simple analysis of the scenes
No season 3.. JiNX is dead
that’s not how that works
She is not. End if discussion
looking for attention?
@ weird, you made a clickbait video and im looking for attention? 🤣
@@Rambrus0 itt’s not clickbait if true, you just can’t accept it so in return you want to be a bit edgy in the comment section for that sweet attention
@ you say I want attention, but you made a video and beg for likes and followers. The irony is just funny to me.
