And that's how you know jinx is op she doesn't necessarily follow a set plan she makes it up along the way it's like how most special forces in the real world work they make a loose plan and mold it to there mission

A massive war has broken out, and all of a sudden you hear upbeat music playing in the background. The source is coming from a large transportation device where at the helm lies a powerful being, not quite a villain but not quite a hero, whose presence was unknown till now.
They actually switched up the lines to make this match up. In the original of the song the English part comes before the Spanish (?) one. An amazing decision.

Im honest alrearight....I thought that the last 2 episodes went totally off the rails , things happened just because they needed to happen eventhough there were many stupid and unnecessary moments I cant deny that this Jinx and Ekko teamup was badass
because this is literally right after she told jinx she's better off dead, since no amount of good she does will right her past. To cait, this is the equivalent of the most extravagant and dramatic "fuck you, too!" anyone could have possibly given her. and the best part? Jinx literally does not care at all. She's only doing this to put an end to the cycle by force, and save her sister. Since to her, she's the only one of the two who should die as the consequence of her past mistakes.
She steals every scene she's in! Like every single one. I've never seen an animated character so charismatic. She makes others more interesting simply by being in the scene with them. For example, Ekko becomes an even more interesting character because of her.

The collective swag and charisma they have on screen together is crazy. And chemistry, episode 7 of season 2 had me wishing Arcane was more of a romance😭😭😭

If Ekko and Powder were sweet and wholesome, Ekko and Jinx would be off the charts sizzling, because Jinx herself is just so electrifying and dynamite. Her chaotic, bombastic personality would make the relationship insanely fun to watch. And Ekko is sassy and full of attitude right back, so the thought of them flirting and bantering is sending me over the edge. They have so much potential to be a sweeping, epic romance. All the setup is there. I seriously can't wait to see them again.

@@titaniumcommandrig - Ekko talked profoundly with her and told about his experience in the other timeline. Other than that? I don't think it was given much detail to us, the public. They did say that their story isn't over tho, if i'm not mistaken. It's really possible that Ekko will go after Jinx in the story (not in arcane, obv) - I doubt he belives she died that easily. But they do seem to have grew a lot closer, and its sweet to see.

Fav part of this is Caitlyn looking up, clearly unsure whether to be angry, but then Ekko and them come down and return the rifles of the Enforcers and it becomes clear Jinx has finally rallied the underground like Cait and them feared--but she's come out as their ally.

It’s almost like she’s fighting with them together, not just with Ekko and their community. Love these details❣️
She is actually seated in her Jinx chair that we saw in S1. I think it's a great way of showing us she actually accepted herself for all she is, Powder and Jinx, despite everything she's been through.

The way they did that was awesome without the big monologue and exposition on her feelings/state of mind. I’ve seen fans complain they didn’t get to see her grieve. She’s at the point where she’s made her decision finally, about who she is and what she has to do. Her actions say everything. The outfit change, the hair, all of the color she paints on herself. Awesome way they did Jinx!

Jinx getting the attention with collerful smoke and music, the firelights charging from the sky drawing the fire of the defensive line. But the smoke also covers the approaching zaunites and their assault crashes through the line! risky but actutally effective use of strategy!
Also love the fact that Powder (alternate universe) is talking about the twin "genius and madness" when talking about Ekko when he was acting strange and in this universe Ekko the genius litteraly team up with the madness, Jinx Fortiche is Peak show makers
This episode puts a perfect emphasis on the deep-rooted desire of bIаск pеоple to be whitе. Ekko has a white step father, he has blonde hair (lol), he is super smart (funny) and in the world of crime he is actually good (yea ok). He also lusts after a white girl, who of course finds him attractive. He is desperately trying to be white, even though he can never be. This envy and desire for white gеnеtiсs that can't be achieved is perfectly presented in Ekko
Hold on I think I actually really appreciate ekko because he's literally everything that ISN'T what that other guy just said. He's the best character in the show, full stop. He's the best character, he's the most fun to watch, he's the best person. His whole thing is getting hands on deck and making people's lives better while everyone else is blinded by fear or ambition. All he wants to be is helpful (in a realistic way! He knows he can't save everyone, that's the difference between him and Viktor) and he doesn't fail. The firelights are actually cared for, and hardly any other faction can say the same. He's the most down to earth character and anyone who doesn't have weird racial fantasies about it can see that

Ambessa was searching for jinx for soo long trying to get her hands on jinx to help her with hextech. Ambessa knows exactly how unpredictable jinx is and the level of destruction and chaos she is capable of. She seemed soo playful while dealing with Caitlyn and piltover but when jinx arrives she gets very serious. One of my all time favorite quotes is "For you are my enemy, nothing could command more of my respect". The fact that Ambess takes Jinxes arrival as a serious threat even if just for a moment and even if she was just the decoy force for Victor, I have no doubt that Ambessa knows not to underestimate Jinx when she makes herself known.
Well no shit. Girly managed to make a weapon out of Piltover prised technology in like month of time, maybe even less. Not to mention how she stole the crystal and kidnapped a council daughter out of her goddamm mansion. If I'd be planning some sort of serious invasion, fist thing I'd look out for is a mad terrorist with little logic to her actions with a weapon of mas destruction and the willpower to use it. Totally forgot about the prison break too.
becuse it took jinx exactly 10 minutes and a half-assed plan to get the better of her during the prison break. And it took jinx just being in the same area as vander for her to lose her most prized soldier. Jinx just existing made the attacks on zaun pointless and without results, even when she did nothing to get involved. Ambessa was rightfully afraid of what jinx could do to overturn her victory, because jinx literally is the one who got in her way the most without even trying, and she was rightfully weary of jinx getting serious against her. But at the same time, she desired her weapons of mass destruction because she viewed them as more powerful than jace's hex tech weapons, but she could never get her hands on jinx even once.

Just imagine Ekko walking around nervous, hurrying Jinx to arrive as soon as possible to save more lives but Jinx is just being chill, keeps installing the speakers and painting the damned balloon
I dont know why, but seeing Sevika and all the other zaunites (especially the ones with faces we recognize like Chuck and Jericho) just feels so satisfying in their attack against the noxians. To see the zaunites all finally united and fighting to protect their home and livelyhood.
It’s also a great strategical advantage, the conflict up until then was widely “formal” in the sense that you had 2 armies in traditional combat with defenses set up going face to face on the ground with their respective weapons, rifles and emplacements vs spears and shields and it was mainly a skill based conflict which the Noxians were massively more powerful in, even their shimmered soldiers were used mainly as forward marching brutes, the zaunites enter the conflict with a lot more chaotic tactics, you’ve got Sevika’s shark arm, you see the Molotov cocktail thrown utilizing fire spread, and while Noxus WAS using Shimmer I feel like Zaun, being its starting point or “home town” if you will, would be able to utilize it better or more creatively in combat like we see with Sevika’s arm in Season 1 pumping her with shimmer, I wouldn’t be surprised if they even weaponized The Grey to some extent, and that’s even before the chaos factors like Jinx, Ekko, and the Balloon Airship, overall it helps level the playing field for the Pilty side of the war, it shows that while each nation can exist on its own, they can thrive together.

1:13 I love this scene so much. Of course, VI is thinking "Oh shit! I gotta duck!" But how she's smiling, you can just tell she's beaming with pride. Her sister, no longer burdened by doubt, is embracing her full potential...and it is glorious.
I am confuse, they leave the ending open. Did Jinx die or leave the city? Because Vi is clearly in Caitlyn mansion, but we see a flying Zepellin in the end, first I was angry thinking that they killed Jinx, but then they show that, and I am confuse.

Then later Cait is looking at slides focuses on the ventilation shaft and air ducts and grins. All while holding the top of Jinx’s bomb. Meaning there wasn’t a body. Also if you remember in season 1 in the first episode as their are raiding Jayce’s lab as kids when they get to the roof Powder says as an airship passes over, “one day I’m gonna fly one of those” and what’s in the last scene of act 3 season 2? The exact same airship leaving the city. Jinx is very much alive. It’s like Jinx said to Vi no matter where they go they are always together.

I love the little character design detail that after she cuts her hair she still has that long tuft in the front, and with the hood she wears in this scene that looks like a monster mouth the hair hanging out is the tongue coming out of the mouth
Not only the soundtrack is fire, but I can't say enough times how much the sound design and effects are awesome throughout the series, it has such bite and impact throughout.
Man, as soon as I heard the song playing in the distance while watching the episode, I knew shit was about to go down in the most glorious way God how this episode both made me happy and so sad all at once
That song is perfect for that scene. The lyrics absolutely hit the spot. Almost unfortunate we got to hear comparatively little of them, especially my fav part wasn't included but it's still so good. Also Felix's voice is just amazing 😌
Okay but EVERYTHING about Jinx's balloon drives me nuts. The bunny ears symbolizing Powder, the rabbit on the gramophone, the "dolls" of Mylo and Clagger, the colors not just her familiar blues and pinks but also Ekko's green (you also see this when she's shooting her gatling gun), along with the clouds AND Ekko's hourglass on the propellers- Jinx has not just accepted her past. She's embraced it.
Fun fact, her balloon is her home base. If you rewatch the scenes with her and Isha or Ekko in the alternative universe, you can see that the "bridges" are actually the propellers

They did say that their story isn't over tho, if i'm not mistaken. It's really possible that Ekko will go after Jinx in the story (not in arcane, obv) - I doubt he belives she died that easily.
But they do seem to have grew a lot closer, and its sweet to see.

The way they did that was awesome without the big monologue and exposition on her feelings/state of mind. I’ve seen fans complain they didn’t get to see her grieve. She’s at the point where she’s made her decision finally, about who she is and what she has to do. Her actions say everything. The outfit change, the hair, all of the color she paints on herself. Awesome way they did Jinx!

Hold on I think I actually really appreciate ekko because he's literally everything that ISN'T what that other guy just said. He's the best character in the show, full stop. He's the best character, he's the most fun to watch, he's the best person. Ambessa was searching for jinx for soo long trying to get her hands on jinx to help her with hextech. Ambessa knows exactly how unpredictable jinx is and the level of destruction and chaos she is capable of. She seemed soo playful while dealing with Caitlyn and piltover but when jinx arrives she gets very serious.
One of my all time favorite quotes is "For you are my enemy, nothing could command more of my respect".
The fact that Ambess takes Jinxes arrival as a serious threat even if just for a moment and even if she was just the decoy force for Victor, I have no doubt that Ambessa knows not to underestimate Jinx when she makes herself known.
I get how the fights were set up but I still wish we got to see ambessa fight jinx once.
Well no shit. Girly managed to make a weapon out of Piltover prised technology in like month of time, maybe even less. Not to mention how she stole the crystal and kidnapped a council daughter out of her goddamm mansion.

becuse it took jinx exactly 10 minutes and a half-assed plan to get the better of her during the prison break. And it took jinx just being in the same area as vander for her to lose her most prized soldier. Jinx just existing made the attacks on zaun pointless and without results, even when she did nothing to get involved. Ambessa was rightfully afraid of what jinx could do to overturn her victory, because jinx literally is the one who got in her way the most without even trying, and she was rightfully weary of jinx getting serious against her. But at the same time, she desired her weapons of mass destruction because she viewed them as more powerful than jace's hex tech weapons, but she could never get her hands on jinx even once.

And mind you, that was jinx half-assing/having fun with everything. Just imagine Ekko walking around nervous, hurrying Jinx to arrive as soon as possible to save more lives but Jinx is just being chill, keeps installing the speakers and painting the damned balloon
I dont know why, but seeing Sevika and all the other zaunites (especially the ones with faces we recognize like Chuck and Jericho) just feels so satisfying in their attack against the noxians. To see the zaunites all finally united and fighting to protect their home and livelyhood.
It’s also a great strategical advantage, the conflict up until then was widely “formal” in the sense that you had 2 armies in traditional combat with defenses set up going face to face on the ground with their respective weapons, rifles and emplacements vs spears and shields and it was mainly a skill based conflict which the Noxians were massively more powerful in, even their shimmered soldiers were used mainly as forward marching brutes, the zaunites enter the conflict with a lot more chaotic tactics, you’ve got Sevika’s shark arm, you see the Molotov cocktail thrown utilizing fire spread, and while Noxus WAS using Shimmer I feel like Zaun, being its starting point or “home town” if you will, would be able to utilize it better or more creatively in combat like we see with Sevika’s arm in Season 1 pumping her with shimmer, I wouldn’t be surprised if they even weaponized The Grey to some extent, and that’s even before the chaos factors like Jinx, Ekko, and the Balloon Airship, overall it helps level the playing field for the Pilty side of the war, it shows that while each nation can exist on its own, they can thrive together.

Then later Cait is looking at slides focuses on the ventilation shaft and air ducts and grins. All while holding the top of Jinx’s bomb. Meaning there wasn’t a body. Also if you remember in season 1 in the first episode as their are raiding Jayce’s lab as kids when they get to the roof Powder says as an airship passes over, “one day I’m gonna fly one of those” and what’s in the last scene of act 3 season 2? The exact same airship leaving the city. Jinx is very much alive. It’s like Jinx said to Vi no matter where they go they are always together.

Zaun should have demanded the full list of terms Silco gave Jayce in season 1 , for helping them such as Independence, free trade routes etc. I wish we got more on this and how relationships continued between the two , at least 1 more episode to deal with the aftermath of the war.

As soon as I heard Come Play in this scene. I was hyped up to all hell!
I love the little character design detail that after she cuts her hair she still has that long tuft in the front, and with the hood she wears in this scene that looks like a monster mouth the hair hanging out is the tongue coming out of the mouth
Not only the soundtrack is fire, but I can't say enough times how much the sound design and effects are awesome throughout the series, it has such bite and impact throughout.
Man, as soon as I heard the song playing in the distance while watching the episode, I knew shit was about to go down in the most glorious way
God how this episode both made me happy and so sad all at once

Okay but EVERYTHING about Jinx's balloon drives me nuts.
The bunny ears symbolizing Powder, the rabbit on the gramophone, the "dolls" of Mylo and Clagger, the colors not just her familiar blues and pinks but also Ekko's green (you also see this when she's shooting her gatling gun), along with the clouds AND Ekko's hourglass on the propellers-
Jinx has not just accepted her past. She's embraced it.
I'd say the bunny ears represent Isha more than Powder. I feel like the stuffed rabbit is Powder's representation.
Fun fact, her balloon is her home base. If you rewatch the scenes with her and Isha or Ekko in the alternative universe, you can see that the "bridges" are actually the propellers
