they have some time between this moment and the moment when the battle happens, many discussions can happen Ekko will tell her about the alternate timeline He will bring her to the firelight tree She will repair her weapon They will paint eachother The lair will be powered up The moment when they paint eachother is already incredibly intimate so Ekko asking her about the eyes being continuously purple is not outside of the realm of possibilities

@DefaultDanielSGaming , ok, I think what you're saying would make sense when they're painting themselves because enough time could've passed for Jinx to feel more comfortable with Ekko (since she would feel more appreciated by him) to open up more. If I was Ekko, I would probably just at most compliment her, saying that I like her new eye colour.

they were supposed to have a scene in the treehouse, that would play out instead of the prison scene between Caitlyn and Vi edit: to clarify what I said, with the words written by that person “The sex scene was planned. EkkoJinx moment (not sex) was planned. In the end, however, they decided to go with the CaitVi sex scene (even though both were planned) so the airtime was therefore given to that moment due to a budgetary constraint. It's not that difficult to clock.”

@@ArguablyRight thanks for the info, I just finished reading it, the part about the attack on Mel's home has to be written in the Ambessa book, if it is then it will raise the credibility of this "leaker" (unless they have the book already)

@@DefaultDanielSGaming It depends on what goes on in the book. If it is in the book, then would it not be weird to reiterate in the show? And vice versa? I feel like there has to be a gap that the show covers if the leaks are true. if it all matches up, strong chance this person is a writer for the show sabotaging it for some reason. there must be something internal going on to warrant it.

@@ArguablyRight certain events which are very important can be part of both, the book can give a lot more detail it can also be that the person receieved an early copy of the book, or in contact with someone who did, same with act 3 of Arcane this person also posted "the scenes between Ekko and Jinx" (on twitter)

@DefaultDanielSGaming yeah I saw that. That's what made me believe it was a writer because the way the timebomb "fake leak" is worded sounds like early development type stuff. They pointed out that it won't match up with the final product, which is a good point. A fake leak might try to fill in the gaps whereas a real one will just show you parts that got reworked, which he did. From my understanding , when a show is written, it's structured around certain ideas, and I guess he's saying they restructured Episode 7 to account for the lack of this particular scene because of the CaitVi moment? Plausible. If the book matches up, even if that ceremonial event is mentioned, I'm gonna say it's real. And if Iron & Chains is real, then I'm gonna say this guy has insider knowledge and the timebomb thing is probably real too. I really think that if it acts like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck. We should stop fighting it at that point.

personally I don't see a world where it would make sense for Mel to ask civilian level people for help, especially when she knows what the Black Rose is capable of

@@DefaultDanielSGaming Yes. But Cait is the head of one of the most wealthiest and powerful families in Piltover. And her fight is going up against ancients. If they are building a "Marvil cinimatic story" Caity and Vi are the Ironman. And they will no doubt play a role in the shit storm to come. I'm reaching here. But i believe they will show up... Even if its like a season 1 final cliff hanger.

You gotta realize that the MCU took several years and many movies to build the universe to the point where they could do this well. All we had were short cameos for years basically connecting all the movie timelines together until the first avengers. Like I'm sure everyone wants their favorite characters to show up and help save the day, but it has to be properly timed and sensible. Cait couldn't even beat Ambessa and Ambessa was TERRIFIED of the black rose. Again like of course it can be written in but it will feel absolutely forced. At the end of the day what makes crossovers work is the fact that all these characters go their separate ways and have their own fights to fight. It makes sense to phone a friend when shtf but with only one series out its just silly. Because then why not just make it Arcane S3 you know?

Nahhhh it wouldn't make sense them showing up that side of the world, hell Jinx helping out (as a mercenary) makes more sense than Vi and Caitlyn ever venturing to Noxus

Yess. Ambessa's inclusion felt entirely unnecessary and added nothing of value to the show.

She was supposed to be the main character of S2, yet is sidelined in her own story. You were just given proof of the decrease in dialogue and you just went, "nuh uh!"

@@Vario69 The writers assigned to Vi ended up sidelining her because they got bored of her character. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case with Mel two - I mean, both their stories deserved more care and screentime.

Curious that the name argument (wich is absurd regardless) doesn't apply to the first 5/6 parts of the show. Why the show was focus on Vi and Jynx in the first place if the show was named Arcane? Anyway, it's clear you would buy any argument to defend the show.

Nah, Ekko is great partially *because* he is a man of few words. Hence why he could have a whole emotional story arc with Jinx in s1 using 0 words

No. 12 episodes would've just blown out the budget. It'd make more sense if the show had an extra season with a separate budget. We know Riot were already planning to do more projects beyond this, what difference would it make if they spent that money on an extra season? Vi's character arc is missing beats to better explain her characer decisions. That's the problem with her story and also the problem with every other character in this season.

People keep throwing "it just needed more time" at every misstep of S2, but idk how "more time" was gonna fix the writers' (self-admitted) lack of interest in Vi as a character. Or lack of willingness to actually explore Caitlyn's questionable actions. Or their insistence with retconning things or forcing parallels, even when they make no sense or actively hurt S1. Or how Jinx's character development is basically entirely outsourced to her emotional support orphan. Or how a bombastic Marvel finale with time travel and evil robots took over the Piltover vs Zaun conflict. And I could go on. At some point we have to acknowledge that while more time would have certainly helped, it's not just a matter of poor execution due to time constraints. Some bad decisions were made, probably chief of which was letting go most of the writers who helped make S1 what it was.

The extra episodes could’ve added said missing story beats for characters. Honestly my main problem with Vi was the sudden change into going against Jinx and becoming an enforcer you don’t need a whole other season to expand her character and give a valid reason as to why she did what she did etc. Besides that the only other small issue I had was with Jinx’s character arc in act 3, was rushed as obviously all of ep 7 was an AU and ep 9 being the finale couldn’t really flesh out her character arc fully but with an extra 3 eps the writers could have. I still adore both seasons and the show in entirety I just did feel bad for how Vi’s character was treated in S2.

They needed another season with a separate budget. "you don’t need a whole other season to expand her character and give a valid reason as to why she did what she did etc." Yeah, you do. We needed a season's worth of Vi gradually growing attached to the enforcers she fought alongside. We needed to see her catch up to Jinx, and then let her go. Then we needed to see Jinx kill one of the enforcers Vi grew attached to, Loris probably. Only then would it have made sense for Vi to turn on Jinx because Jinx is actively killing off her friends (again). And Vi would feel guilty because she's the one that keeps letting her go. Then you could have the Jinx vs Vi fight as the season climax. You can easily pad out the season with all the character development they skipped in the timeskips and montages. Then you can have the third season focus on Jinx and Vi being forced to work together to find and cure Vander while Caitlyn's having her dictator arc. And Caitlyn would have to contend with watching her ex-girlfriend conspire with her mother's killer and the Shimmer beast killing off her enforcers. It's the same story with the same trajectory, but with a lot more room for the character arcs and plotlines to breathe.

@@chiefpurrfect8389 Oh I had no idea they self admitted it. I dunno I just find it strange that something that was worked on for so long tripped up a lot with its second season for its characters. I was a just blaming that there was too much going on in S2 and lack of run time to make sure every character got a satisfying arc & ending. I didn’t know about S1 writers not being involved with S2 either that would actually explain a lot. Thanks for clarifying ! I had no idea.

​@@DefaultDanielSGaming I haven't heard about that one, do you remember which scene it was? I have heard about the "mama" one during the Jinx and Warwick fight when Isha is carried away by Sevika. With the music it does kind of sound like she yells out mama, but I have checked it without music and she doesn't say mama during that scene, she makes an "uuuugh" sound in distress.
