Hi, consignment is a subset of the overall distribution. Distribution covers all the set of strategy, activities and workflow involved in moving the products from the source to the intended customers or the final destination. And mostly distribution indicates it is a finished product and hence the source is nothing but the completion of manufacturing. And it could be slightly different if it is a trading business.
