LS Swap G Body Malibu Rear End Upgrade | Quick Performance 9 Inch Ford Is In

The best G body rear end upgrade is to get rid of the weak factory 7.5 and swap in a new rear end, preferably a 9 inch Ford. The 7.5 rearend could be upgraded but you will likely spend at least $1000 and it's still a fragile piece then that can break at any point. I went all out with my 9 inch Ford rear from Quick Performance. I spent right at $3000 but I could have went cheaper instead of going for high end parts. The swap could have easily been done for $2000 or less. Another option is to go with a 8.8 Ford but you will have to purchase new wheels if you get the rear straight from a fox body mustang.
