This car is a crowd favorite. It has the ability to put the back bumper on the ground, as I've seen it in the past. The Double Down makes a great pass here in the heat of the day at Baileyton Dragstrip. The Southeast Gasser Association requires that the cars run a four speed transmission that has to be shifted with the clutch. This guy knows how to drive one!

This LS swapped Twin Turbo Nova is a regular at Radial Fest in the King of the Street class. He has worked on the tune and is now a consistent mid 5 second car that is still very streetable. Mikie Smith's Ratsun isn't even a match for this twin turbo LS. Mikie has gotten the Ratsun running good though. I remember when it was a low 7, high 6 second car.

Changing jets in the Holley carburetor that's going in the LS swapped G body Malibu. I expect the 6.0 LS to make around 500 horsepower to the flywheel since I ported the heads and put a Cam Motion junkyard dog cam in it. I had this carb on another high hp engine and needed to change the jets back to a smaller size. I did decided to go bigger than stock though.

Finally tried out the Primeweld 225X AC/DC Tig Welder and it was a fail. I don't have enough power from my generator to supply the welder. I had looked online and found a formula that was volts x amps= watts. That made me think that my 4500 watt generator would be plenty but it surged the entire time I had an arc struck. The best G body rear end upgrade is to get rid of the weak factory 7.5 and swap in a new rear end, preferably a 9 inch Ford. The 7.5 rearend could be upgraded but you will likely spend at least $1000 and it's still a fragile piece then that can break at any point. Work continues to get the rearend out. There is a lot of cleaning that I decided to do because of rust and rearend oil. I decided to use some epoxy primer that I've had left over for quite a while to seal the frame and control arm crossmember.

Starting the process of removing the weak 7.5 rearend out of the 81 Malibu to install the 9 inch Quick Performance rearend. The 9 inch ford is going to be much stronger that the GM 7.5 rear. It should be able to handle the hopefully 500 hp 6.0 LS that I've swapped in along with the 200-300 hp of nitrous that I will spray with the Induction Solutions plate system.

This Twin Turbo LS swapped S10 has always been impressive. Barry Cook's s10 blazer was awesome but he took it to another level with this truck. To my knowledge it was a streetable truck that is capable of running high 4s in the 1/8 and as you can see run mid 5s spinning and having to pedal it.

Water pump, starter, and transmission dipstick are mounted. The tab I mention in the video that I made the trans dipstick mounting tab from is the oil dipstick tab. I had to use a different oil dipstick with the Holley pan so I cut it off. Any piece of metal should work though.

    I recently had this issue on my wifes car. I used everything you did and heat, didnt budge. I tried 2 different air impacts. 1 was rated at 1200 lbs of breaking force and nope. I bought a 1/2" dewalt cordless impact with 1400lbs of breaking force and broke it loose in off within 3 sceonds.

      @@SlaneVintageModern I had to use on my 04 mach 1 last week,spun it off even quicker than my wifes car. Sorry it didnt work. Try the impact with a weighted impact socket and least amount of extensions you can. Those weighted sockets are great for these.

    Thank you brothaaa! Wanted to make sure I pop open the ridiculously expensive TruFuel can I bought. Wouldn't want to go to pour it and find out my money evaporated on me. Heard some good things about using it in old mowers that had been using unleaded to 'potentially' remove some gunk from the carb and lines due to the added ethanol. Guess I'll see if it's worth it.

It’s simple... the average welder pulls 6500 watts, so double that for peak wattage and you’re golden. Wow, I didn’t even have to write my memoirs or qualify my comment with a bunch of jibberish.     I tried my Makita 1/2 drive impact driver and it didn't touch it. Confused me a bit because this is my big dog tool always beats out my 19cfm compressor impact. Anyway I scratched my head figuratively and took out the 3ah batt and put in a 5ah batt. Zing came right out. Then I used a "Chrysler" harmonic balancer puller.

    The fitting you used for your oil pressure gauge is a M16x1.5. This fitting has the same threads as the oil passage plug.

    Don't underestimate the stopping ability's of the 11in. Drum brake, its larger than the Factory brakes.

    for anyone who's doing this while it's in a truck: Keep your belt on the rig. Take a wrench or pipe wrench or even a adjustable worm gear style wrench and put it on there. Tap it the same way this guy did. Note to those worried about how to tighten it back on: It's self tightening, put it on and turn it until it's roughly snug. Tap the wrench in the opposite direction and then turn the motor over. And you're done.

    I'm running a .660 lift spring and I fuggin hogged on the roof of my exhaust. Plan on running high boost and I'm really hoping these heads don't move a lot now. We'll see.
