Chong had to sell his car? He must hard up!
I could watch this show all day long.
Yeah, I feel ya on that... and I did that exact thing one day.
Me too. I always like especially when they travel too.
Yeah me too. If so.... Watch, "What Would You Do"?
I bet anyone in the whole world could
Antiques Roadshow for millennial's eh. Love the show too!
man this guy was a tough negotiator i love it
Dude is a gang leader. Rick was very careful not to insult him. Even his buddy gave an $11,500 valuation which was only $500 less than what the dude was asking.
@@jimmydishkawnt how do u know his a gang leader
He looks like he would be the lead drug lord in some 80s action flick
@@lorayax4249 dude looks like my god father who was a paratrooper in africa and grenada
nah rick was just trash in this one
Multi millionaire raises offer $300
“You’re insane”
Money is still money, doesn't matter if you are a multi millionaire or a millionaire lol besides it's 2020 it's easier to get rich than ever before...
He still have employees too pay.
Starlings did you mean to contradict yourself?
👍🍪
Lmao true, but that's how you make that money.
Would love a spin off series of Rick,Corey,Chum traveling all over America for items to buy bit like American Pickers
How weird it is that they actually did this
I don't think that's a 1963 Ghia. In '63 the door skin is supposed to be flat where you grab the handle. Also, those tail lights don't come out till '70. Yet, it shouldn't have bullet signals up front with those taillights. Lots of different parts on this car. Looks like a frankenstein. Still a great car.
Seller: I want 12K
Rick: I want it for 11K
Expert: I believe it's worth 11.5K
🤦♂️
Hes fake so is rick and so is his whole show its just for entertainment
@orange but it's to keep, not to sell
imagine the expert had said it was worth 5 grand and rick is like best I can do is 1500 bucks
@@FortniteHits it's not all fake. They are real sellers, real items, real deals, and real experts. What's "fake" about the show is the negotiations and the surprise. People bring in items, they check it out, call around, settle on a price, then they come back another day and film. So it's fake to a degree, but it's not like the entire show is a sham.
@@edkrassenstein5534 i watch it for the random stuff and tidbits of history
Whenever some who's selling a car says "lil prollems, nun major", run. Run fast
I had to learn that the hard way with my 2002 Bmw X5 😂 😢😩
@@TRPL6 the name "bmw" should have sent you running
Sure, but this is a car from the 60's.
lil problem like he cut the suspension too low and it's rubbing >.>
@@kingjames4886 lil prollems like the suspension was wonky, the paint was bad, guarantee the wiring was all dry rotted.. guy was lucky Rick was already planning on restoring it.
He says he’s gonna look for another classic he can restore but he didn’t restore this classic at all lol
He pimped it out
this is the best show and i love how chum shook his head when rick said he was a teenager again
kinda disappointed they didn’t show the restoration
They didn't show it because that's the part where Rick realizes this guy just raped him with a porcupine.
"so is it all original?"
"I haven't done anything to it, this is how I got it."
@Garrett Meador probably, still a round-about way of saying it's not original :P
It's Far from Original!...His "Expert" is not Original...he vaguely knew anything about VWs...
Rick actually gave a good offer.
Because he's buying it for himself. For the store, he would have offered like $4,000 because he's taking all the risk, restoration costs, yada yada...
A road trip with Rick Harrison? His inane giggle laugh would drive anyone insane.
Who else binge watches this show sometimes
You can tell the car was for Rick. Little surprised like Corey is. Was fun to watch. Great video
"I'm gonna head out to Vegas to look for another car to restore." He didn't restore that one, so what's he talking about?
I thought the exact same thing.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
:)) that guy is such a jerk
Personally I think this is something he's just flipping might even be a trade in on something he had.
Seems like kinda guy that goes through a few cars
mr sherlock, maybe he has restored other cars.
"ts an old car" ..... hahahahahahahah LOVE THAT LINE - like yeah, well aware.
When I was 16 my mom purchased a 1976 Pontiac SunBird with 84,000 on the 3.8 V6 . And I started to repair the interior to new condition and put new wheels and tires and shocks and detailed the engine as well as a new clutch and a ton of other stuff, well I found a crack in the frame and I traded it in on a Cobra Mustang, I drove by my old Pontiac SunBird and the new owner purchased it from the place I traded it in to buy my Cobra , anyway when I traded in the SunBird the odometer had turned over and showed only 33,000 miles on it and the new owner was selling it and tried to tell me the miles on the odometer where original ! I told him no it has 133,000 on it and he insisted on sticking to his story so I told him I owned the car before he purchased it and I started to show him things about the car he had no idea existed. My point is to not lie to people because you have no idea who they are or what they know.
In this episode: Rick pays nothing for the car because the dude will spend it all back at the pawn shop.

No
"Exploring" means going off somewhere to burn one..
More like snort. But yes that's exactly the impression I got
Bruh Chumlee nodding his head no at 0:17
Ricks got good taste. I'm 68 , in 1969 , my first car was a 1965 karmann ghia, funny thing , it was yellow and had it painted british racing green. Paid $450.00 . Had it all through high school.
He said he’s going to Vegas to find another car but I thought he was going to Ricks shop 😂😂😂
“I’ll probably spend the money at ricks pawn shop” Well you could have gotten like 15,000 trade but ok.
Prob would of came out with less
He was just being nice.
Hate sellers that make excuses or that get butt hurt when an expert points out flaws
Corey has larceny in his heart at all times.
On the other hand, listen to the expert, Rick is actually thinking of throwing $20K in this car to restore to perfection. Rick, is going to throw $32K into this car to restore it, and the car will only be worth $22K when he is done.
@@TruthLivesNow He wants it because it was his dream car when he was a kid. He's also super rich.
lol "shush it's for me"
Chumlee: Hey George is this thing all original, have you done anything to it?
George: It's still a virgin.
Good question. Brings the price up
Love those old K.Ghia's! I've seen a few of these halfway rodded out and they quickly become outstanding to look at with just a little work and minor mods.
what about The Thing"? they were cool too
@@carasmussen27
They are cool. I want to covert one to 4wd and use it as an off-roader.
I would LOVE to go on a road trip with these 3 and 25Gs in my pocket!!!
Man,that trucker stole the thunder!
That car had the rear end replaced which dramatically devalues the car it's a 63 front with a 70's rear. that was no car expert he should have noticed as soon as he saw the taillights
Ya I was confused, those tail lights are 70s tail lights
I noticed the tail light's at first glance too.
Awesome find Rick! I run trains through Seligman every week. Love it. Hope you stopped by Lilos for lunch ;)
Lovely Morris Minor sitting there
A breath of fresh air ........... i like this kind of video's for pawn stars
George the seller seems like a dude I would hang out with.
Ghias were first made in 55. The 63 ghia turn signals lenses were white/clear, not amber
I didn't even catch that. But I did catch those 1972-74 tail lights. My bet is this is a 1972-74 with a 1963 title and the turn signals were filled and replaced with these.
Filmed outside of my cousins shop in Seligman!
Rick got jipped. This is not a 1963 Ghia. This is from the 1970’s judging by the tail lights.
Looks to be a 1972-74 to me with 1969 or earlier turn signals in the front. I have a feeling it's a 1972-74 with a 1963 title.
Very cool. Thank you very much
I just LOVE these cars
That car is so beautiful!
Rick fingering the air at 2:18 made me uncomfortable
Reminds me of the bath tub Porsche
The '61-'62 Buick wagon is really cool, though the popsicle paint job doesn't do a lot for me.
I had an old 57 Az.karman ghia rust free & very little wear & tear! I was hammered and I rolled it. Then I got an early 60s convertible that was a rust bomb. I’d love to get another one!
3 heads in the beginning was funny as heck
I love when they don't take Rick's low ball offers
His "car expert" did him no favors. Those giant rear lights and bumper indents in the rear fenders are from a '72-'74 Karmann Ghia. It's been hit HARD in the rear and clipped from a donor car. He's in for a BIG surprise when they strip off the paint, LOL!
The seller reminds me of the guy from that 70s show
Leo tommy bong chong
Dang! I was in seligman 2 years ago and did some work at the school. I enjoyed my time there, it was in mid December but it was nice!!
It's two cars....63 front....1970s rear.
@Rosa Banks : We used to call that a “Joint Cruise”
I love these guys.
Good show all the time
Rick's "restoration buddy's" stick it to him every time
0:41 T U U U U U U U U 😂😂😂
Love the new los santos customs !!
did you hear what he said ? another classic that he can restore ::::))))))
That’s awesome ! If he asked 14 he would of had that 12 flat
Good video
Always following..love every episode
Hi! Thanks for being a #PawnStars fan!
So random Pawn Stars replied to your specific comment.
Why did his " Expert " not point out those were Not the original taillights...those came off the last couple years Ghia was made, last year 1974...and they were Not first made in 1958...Ghias were first built in 1955 and came to the States in 1957...i owned a 1957 for 40 years...Time for a new " Expert " Rick!
Well maybe the expert did. Maybe the cameras just didn’t show it
The cameras did see it...that's how i seen it....
I had a green one and also a rare off white cream colored one the latter was a euro model loved that car!
He sounds like Danny trejo 😂😂😂
That car is a serious bucket of bolts...I have a Ghia, and think they rule, but this one is crappola....look at the turn signals in front...They're uneven! One is lower than the other. The entire rear end is from a 71 no any where near 63. 63 didn't have 1600's either. Or the front end has been swapped for an early front clip. The round turn signals were never used with those tail lights.... All the trim has been removed and filled as well as the torsion bar access covers. That and the missing bumpers scream 'I have been in a major accident...plus those stupid t-bars are upside down...which means if it gets in a collision its going to crap whatever it bumped into right into the nose instead of deflecting it down to the ground. this thing is worth about 5000 tops. If he really paid that much ,he got burned badly.
First thing I noticed was the headlight bezels don’t flow right into the body. The fenders are approximately 1/2 inch above the bezels. Something is WAY off there.
Looks like a chassis swap. ‘63 pan with later chassis. Worthless piece of junk!!...What kind of appraiser would not of known that...
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I do like some TV shows and this is definitely one of them.
Just not into waiting for the exact time they first show, so I watch on here, or buy them to watch later.
I have a couple of friends in Vegas, so anytime I go to visit them in the future I will definitely be stopping into The Gold & Silver Pawn Shop to see if they have something I want to bring home with me.
@Jimmythy I What are you questioning his rambling for?
Is it me or does guy sound like Danny trejo? 😂
EXACTLY
Not a 63. Tail lights are too big. 1970 or newer.
Something was done too it,,, tail lights ,, no outer fill cover? (Gas)🤦♂️
@@robbieashcraft3113 Probably cut in half and put a 70+ rear end....should check the rear suspension and chassis numbers to confirm...unfortunately...seems that James does not know about old VW...
I had a Karmann Ghia when I got married. We took it on our honeymoon. We were lucky we made it back, but I never really had any issues, just weird sounds.
1:25 Diamond in duh wuff
Hahaha
When we wor young kids and young adults we never thought those VW were cool.
How about a few videos in chronological order with the Paws Stars regulars?
That crazy dude with the DeLorean, the one who swapped a sword for a baja car and Adam of course because we all love to see old book videos 😇
Expert is on the seller side clearly from the start
Everytime I watch this I think of takis🤣🤣
And when I have takis I watch THIS SHOW😂
I'd take that yellow Morris Minor!
That's cool. My neighbor actually has one. Only takes it out twice a year lol
Presented w/o wiper arms? LOL!
Lime green morris minor looks interesting 🤔👍🇦🇺
That is not a 10k car bro... convertible vintage vws are going way up in price. I know, I have several verts and I know how much they are worth.
Cliff Booth vibes
Great Cars
I love Corey so much!
It has a rear fenders and a tail light from 1973-74 model year
I was really missing his laugh after-im gonna be a teenager again

While we talking " unknow cars to USA ", there is CITROEN SM, Citroen " grand tourism style " with Maserati Engine. This Citroen was smaller than " FAMILY 4 Door DS" but it could seat 4 without issues. NO, I haven't owned it, BUT, one of my Father Business Partner got one 1977. Believe me, , even at 220 Kmh was like driving, while sitting in Lounge Chair. Hydraulic and stabilizing system was next to none. while changing wheels, no need for car Jack, lift car, put support underneath, lower car and wheel is of the ground.
Greetings from Australia ( T.J Otley )
Those tail lights aren't 1963.
@pawnstars when I first watched this episode I told my mom/grandma that my dream is to buy a rv and buy a trailer and buy classic cars u this episode gave me the idea I love all of the episodes I love when u guys look at cars cause I love classic cars I’m saving my money for a garage so I can restore classic cars one day I’m gonna teach myself hw to work and restore classic cars cause I love old cars they are better than the new cars u see today u chumlee and corey be safe ik covid 19 has ruined everything but I hope everyone stays safe out there
This dude lowkey sounds like Danny Trejo.
The so called "expert"was ignored😂
they talk price in the car when they test drive it, but they dont show that part for obvious reasons
They don’t know what a 66 looks like! Definitely not a 63!! What taillights Rick?? Wow! Way different
Big house looks like he's got some major social anxieties. I can relate.
The tail light's of this Ghia are not '63 and the seats don't appear to be either. My ex girlfriend had a lime green, '63 convertible, Karmann Ghia. It was lowered and handled and road like sh-t, but it looked good. Lol.
that car is perfection!
(at least when it came out)
Yeah
I thought he was going to make his first offer of 6000. Seeing him start at 11,000 was weird lol. He always tries lowballing
So rick lowballed the guy with the red vw and gave him a b.s other but buys this one 😆
Had one. corners well.
