Great temple … pro tip … save the baht and run/hike up the pilgrims trail (super fun trail) you’ll get another cool temple at wat pha lad. One of the best Chiang mai photo spots there for sunrise.
I always have breakfast of fruit shakes at the wat doi suthep before the lit descent back to the city.
That sounds INCREDIBLE!!! The tough part for us was definitely the fact that burning season was in full swing. It made for pretty difficult views most days, but it still definitely sounds like an incredible hike! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!!

Hi Michelle!!! We had a blast doing this one!!! For some temples you have to pay a fee as a foreigner, but the lesser known ones don't have any fee that you have to pay. For example in this video, we only paid for two of the four. I hope this helps & thanks so much for watching!!!
Man, I absolutely love Thailand! When I visited Bangkok with my girlfriend while living with her in Sattahip (south of the capital), we also took these red trucks as you call it, in those days they were called Jeepneys and they were cheap and fun. The temples you visited looked a lot like Wat Arun in Bangkok. Just as beautiful. Thanks a lot for the memories!
Ya know, we've seen the Jeepneys in Chiang Mai but we've hardly seen ANY in Bangkok! Although the traffic in Bangkok is out of this world bad, so I'm guessing a lot of the red trucks have just gone to other places LOL. Also, it's funny you mention Wat Arun. We're about to visit that temple in the next couple of days & we can't wait!!! Thanks so much for watching our video Eddy!!!!❤️

I loved Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. We went there, Phuket and Bangkok. In retrospect I wish I had planned more time in Chiang Mai but the time we had there was great. If you get a chance to go to the White Temple you definitely should!
That's what our itinerary is at the moment!!! We only have 45 days to spend inside of Thailand so we're breaking up our stay with a short trip to Cambodia, but we can't wait to get further south in Thailand. The north was a bit tough just because it's right in the middle of burning season so we didn't get to see many mountains during our time (which means we're already planning on coming back🤣). The White Temple is INCREDIBLE though!!! We've got a vlog on the Chiang Rai Temples (as well as visiting the cave where the Thai cave rescue happened😳) coming soon & we can't wait to get those out. There's an unbelievable amount of things to see in Thailand!
