I've been playing for weeks now, completed all licenses on Gold and funnily enough GT7 has taught me the Nordschleife even better than any game before and now I am ready and it's time to master the Nordschleife.
@@Sir-Prizse Bro.. I've spended around 20 hours and 1700km.. But I have thrown several Gold Laps away or rather I should say I only managed to get like 10 Laps in cause I was pushing quite to hard sometimes.. It's really a spare margin between pushing it how you have to and overdue it completely..
My biggest tip would be to maintain momentum. This is done by trail braking and coasting. The worst thing you can do on the nord that I found was braking in straight lines before turning whilst off the brakes. After making this adjustment I got the golds and gold lap easily.
I think braking should be treated as steering the car rather than actually slowing it down. With this philosophy, you'll be able to brake extremely late, get on the throttle early and live with a car that is in a narrower window of performance. I was nowhere in GTS because the ABS just punished this technique and slowed the car down 2-3 mph too much every time, but thankfully this works again really well in GT7.

One thing about circuit experience, licenses and mission challenges is that you can't milk them like single player races.....once you get gold then you will get maximum amount of credits but no credits for re trying
It would take me a lot of practice and time to get all golds - time I'm better off ploughing into (at the time of writing) the new 30 minute Le Sarthe race, where it's a piece of cake to win by miles and get a clean race bonus, netting you something in the region of 1.6m credits an hour. I think for a lot of these circuit exp./license tests/ etc we need to set aside our pride, as you did, and make use of TC. It’s helped me a ton and I’m a low A DR driver.
You can definitely go faster for a single time with TC off but you're right, the reality is in this game and also in ACC and irl etc etc drivers use TC. It shouldn't be an ego/pride thing.
GT3 cars are made to be driven with TC. It's not about pride, that's the way these cars are intended to drive. Turning it off is against everything the engineers were optimising for
When I see someone like Ermin - who as a lot of Nord experience - struggling to get more than two tenths below the gold threshold, it makes me think I'll give this one a miss, and leave it to last of all the challenges. EDIT: Reading the comments is demoralizing. Why would I bother spending hours on this? To gain circuit experience, yes, but on a track I hate. Great for time trials, but hopeless as a track for racing, at least in Gran Turismo, with few chances for overtaking, and having the constant threat of being sent to the shadow realm by some inpatient deckead. Great video, Ermin, but as I said, not for me.

This is definitely not going to be a 1 hour effort to me, although I did completed it in GT sport I get the feeling that it'll be harder in GT7, wish me luck.
Dear Ermin, I took a few of your tips and finished out with a 6:36.283. I gave you a like as a way of saying thanks. For everyone who still needs help, all I have to say is this likely took me about 2 hours worth of attempts. The one thing that made the difference was I stopped downshifting so much and instead focused on momentum. Setup is controller, Traction 1, and countersteer assist on.
The ring is probably the track I know best, been playing it religiously since the gt5 days, and my god it took me probably 5 hours of attempts just to get the full lap gold time, and even then I was only 0.02 secs faster than the gold time. It’s challenging.
Just watched your old video on how to improve on the Nordschleife. This came out perfect rn, since I'm over like 3000 tries in but still 3 seconds too slow for gold. :(
So when you say the GT3 handling is "interesting" what you mean by that is "nowhere close to reality" :D Just kidding, enough GT3 sims out there already but thumbs up for the Walkenhorst livery and the way you pronounce Schwedenkreuz and Brünnchen!
I put down a total 9 hours on 2 different days of gameplay trying to get the full lap gold. I wasn’t even happy anymore when I finally got gold with the amount of time and frustration I had to go through.
Just got gold on this last night on my PS4 Pro controller after what felt like twenty-ish tries - I used analog stick steering + accel./brake and controller sensitivity set at 6(?) (the car seems to respond best with smoother steering inputs) and MT, TC OFF... I was initially 2-3 seconds off until I realized that there are sections of the track where you can lean on the aerodynamics without lifting/braking. Use the entire width of the track, but avoid accelerating over curbs if you are not pointed straight and true. Over jumps the car will not become unsettled if you commit completely with the gas or brake. Avoid stabbing the gas when exiting turns and you will capture a lot of time - twice I had big moments of oversteer during my gold run.
It is not as much to find out which kind of skill would be more helpful, but what most people are struggling at is a matter of acquiring the skill. I'm sure those who want to complete this circuit experience must have watched many similar clips by now, and learned a thing or two. However many just have difficulty to actually execute (or acquire) the skill itself at a consistent way. Even with the control indicators shown on the screen (I mean the two bars and steering red dot), driving skills aren't something you can copy (not even from your own fast lap). For anyone who is still trying to get there, what you need is a systematic way of training yourself to perfect the skills mentioned here (or at least the kind that best fit your style), and the track knowledge mentioned in the video. The way I did it was to keep training myself at each sector until I can get gold comfortably. The rationale is to ensure that even when I fail to make my best time, I still have time to spare from making a gold cut off for most of the sectors. For the 2 sectors that I still only get a tight gold, I at least train till I get a fast silver on a consistent manner. Add them all together, I passed with a super tight 6'37"758 on a controller with right pad acceleration and auto shift.
Funny story: I played GT2 as an arcade game so I never took it seriously but I was legitimately terrified of the 'Ring for years when I first started playing GT3 more seriously when I was like 8 or 9 😅 Night race in the rain has been one of the best and most challenging experiences so far in GT7 for me. Gonna love (and hate at times) putting in work for gold on this.
I've been going through circuit experience in order of the maps and just got to this one. I got gold on a couple of sectors after about a dozen tries each, then went to do the full lap. First attempt I was 15 seconds off. 2nd attempt 10 seconds off. 3rd attempt 5 seconds off and feel like I'm getting as much as I can from the car. I should probably try to get gold on all the sectors before trying the full up again. Respect to you guys that have done it though! It's very difficult!
Ouf, took me 2 days to learn and gold all sectors and after a couple of tries on the full lap the first time i actually managed to make it to the end without going off track i got 1:42. Was really happy! The next day on my first try i got 1:41! Tried about 10 times after this, but couldn't make it to the end😂 it is so hard to stay in the zone for 6 minutes straight.. always start thinking to much. Also playing with a controller isn't ideal, i have the csl DD but not the playstation version so a bit bummed that i cant use that wheel on this game.. Some great tips here tho, so will try again next time i'm home, i WILL get gold on this track!
I feel you man, after too many attempts I get too into my head and start slowly depreciating in performance every single time and get frustrated so I've learnt to take a break when I notice I'm shitting the bed and it helps, everytime I come back after resting my mind, I'm a lot more consistent and concentrated
damn bro that looks soooo easy when you teaching us how to do it. I was in the Nordschleife for about 2 hrs now and only got the 1st and 2nd run silver and the 3rd run in gold...
From the looks of it, it seems like the full lap is the easy one to do. They give you a decent amount of time to complete it. Might just be me but I always have a hard time on certain sectors and it drives me nuts trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong😅
I got gold on a certain Japanese time attack track first try. Not a problem since I've been racing on it forever like the ring. So, I jump over to the ring thinking I got this. Um. No...No, I don't got this. It put me in my place. I may have shed a few tears. Nothing like getting beat down on one of your favorite tracks.
I am not that great but kudos for getting it. I am just getting all bronze on this circuit experience stuff. Instead of wasting hours and hours trying to get gold for 6 million here, I can grind 3 other new races (Sardegna, Tokyo, or LeMans) and get 1.5 to 2 million per hour. Much more efficient use of my time to get lots of credits than trying to get all gold for an average players such as myself.
not to be rude but completing these circuit experiences is how you elevate from average to better than average. If you want to stay average then yes grinding the 595pp Thawk X at Tokyo is the way to make money.
@@dukedub grinding is the only way to make money. i don't do multiplayer too much because of other disrespectful drivers who insist on ramming instead of fair clean races. online races don't pay good money anyway either. i grind so i can buy all cars and drive whatever i want when i want. but thanks for your comment, it is noted.
I did it within 2 hours because I couldn't put a Lap together, I always crashed/spinned at a corner. Finally the first Lap where I didn't crash was already gold
Still can't believe I did this in two days and my winning lap was 0.0500 of a second away from not being fast enough. I feel like it all comes down to mastering section 1 and the long sweeping section near the end of the track. Everything else has a little bit of room for error.
I would listen to this guy and watch his stuff way before I watch the garbage demonstrations for the gold licenses. This is how I race and drive, I don't use tc and I'm not assisted by the game to gold something. This guy is legit, and will point you in the direction you want to go
Haha this teaches me that you should always gold as soon as you can when the game is released. The first section gold is now 39.2 which sucks cuz I can beat the old 39.6 repeatedly
If money were the only issue in this game, I would have been fine. Somehow they took the already broken penalty system from Sport and made it even worse, and that doesn't even touch on the lack of offline play. I deleted it, and won't go back unless there are massive changes.
very nice round, i just started with a dd pro wheel since gt7 comes out. I just made it today in 6;36;600, this is a very hard course, but I like it very much.
I’ve only tried it a couple of times, but getting 2 seconds off every times has been infuriating.. I am driving to the best of my ability but it isn’t enough. I will say though I am proud of how quickly I have improved at this game, should have it by the end of the week!
I haven’t gotten it YET but my last lap was a 6:38:200 which is so close in a six minute lap. If i try on a new day i have a training lap or 2 on time trail that gets me into it 😁
Are you still going to do a Beam NG Tuning guide? I could certainly use the help trying to tame the Bolide. I found a mod that gives her a V10, adjustable aero, and AWD which I've been using but she likes to get very tail happy when I lift off the throttle and I don't know how to get that solved.
ACC hates slip angle, so if you overcook it into a turn, you're basically screwed. In other titles you can scrub the speed off, or just rotate the rear end without too much penalty.
The time it would take novices to complete this would probably be in the weeks, if not months making that 6 million worth it. I guarantee I'd break something from the frustration of the 'ring. I steer clear of it when I can (no pun intended).
Unless Santa brings me a new left hand or a good wheel I'll never get gold on this, I wrecked my left hand when a dickhead in a van t-boned me on my motorbike (4 operations and 3 years of physio) so using a controller isn't great with limited hand movement/grip. I'd be a lot better on a wheel but the crash was a career ender so a good wheel is way out of my price range.
What racing tires does this challenge use? Is it racing hard? I want to pergage this BMW GT car and train with it before tackling this challenge with correct tires. Does anybody know?
You can say what you want, but with a Pad, you just can't drive as fast as he does, cause the Handling is way too sensitive! Players with Experience on a Wheel, just have a easier Time golding this. And that's a bit unfair if you ask me ...
I golded it in under 45 minutes on my DS4. It's all about practice, track knowledge and knowing the car. Granted I've played GT all my life and Nordschleife since GT4 when it was introduced. My only point is that it's definitely possible if you want it. Yes it's definitely hard but it is very doable.
@@2K-Tan yea but I'm not investing that much time, I would make more money do all bronze before I would ever do one lap of Neurburg gold. I feel times should be adjusted to silver level and gold should be for fun.

This is definitely not going to be a 1 hour effort to me, although I did completed it in GT sport I get the feeling that it'll be harder in GT7, wish me luck.
Good luck!
It's much harder imo.
Yeah dude, it was definitely much easier on gt sport. I haven't even tried it on gt7 because Ik it's going to drive me insane.
The M6 seems to be the most unstable GT3 car in the game. They should have given a nicer driving car for this
The Audi R8 LMS is by far the worst I've driven!
@@Ermz that's pretty unfortunate given its the free one given to everyone.
@@Ermz i agree that car just breaks out off throttle or when trail braking its just not a nice experience.
The Mazda Vision concept isn't nice to drive as well...
So when you say the GT3 handling is "interesting" what you mean by that is "nowhere close to reality" :D Just kidding, enough GT3 sims out there already but thumbs up for the Walkenhorst livery and the way you pronounce Schwedenkreuz and Brünnchen!
if i drive the Nord in beam, i can take exactly one corner
Same, for me its the first corner hahahahaha
I'd say that's an achievement on beam 😂😂
@@Matty.Hill_87 Yeah, in Assetto i can drive the track, but beam hell no
@@bread7809 I can't even do it on asseto yet 😂😂
@@Matty.Hill_87 you'll get there buddy
I put down a total 9 hours on 2 different days of gameplay trying to get the full lap gold. I wasn’t even happy anymore when I finally got gold with the amount of time and frustration I had to go through.
git gud
Way harder then he makes it out to be lol. 6:36 for gold is borderline elite lol
Yellow evo noises 😂 at 0:14
It is not as much to find out which kind of skill would be more helpful, but what most people are struggling at is a matter of acquiring the skill.
You should do sarthe experience next. That one is torture
Funny story: I played GT2 as an arcade game so I never took it seriously but I was legitimately terrified of the 'Ring for years when I first started playing GT3 more seriously when I was like 8 or 9 😅
Night race in the rain has been one of the best and most challenging experiences so far in GT7 for me. Gonna love (and hate at times) putting in work for gold on this.
But a lot of people don’t use a manual transmission they use automatic transmission. And they also use a controller
Also there's a Leman 30 minute race that pays 835,000 if you win with a clean race bonus. It's in the world circuits menu.
Imagine doing this with the "pig nose"
damn bro that looks soooo easy when you teaching us how to do it. I was in the Nordschleife for about 2 hrs now and only got the 1st and 2nd run silver and the 3rd run in gold...
Because it's quite easy, I did all the sectors in less 20 minutes! The Full Lap took about 2 hours because I kept spinning
Nice vid but can you also do one for le mans too? it would help me out a lot!
From a 7:11 with a 69' camaro stock body,to a 7:08 with a ruf CTR2 ,thanks for the tips
Great job mate! On the controller is MUCH harder tho. I uploaded it on my channel, it was a pain in the neck lmao
I can only imagine. Great job on completing it.
Guessing how long this will take me: 2 hours to get all sectors gold, 10 hours to get the full lap gold if ever....
It took me around 1h 55 min to get all the golds
From the looks of it, it seems like the full lap is the easy one to do. They give you a decent amount of time to complete it. Might just be me but I always have a hard time on certain sectors and it drives me nuts trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong😅
@@Veritech617 ah that's comforting... Might give it a try one day, did it in GT Sport so I should be able to
“All gold in under an hour”
I’ve done 3 so far and it took me 3 days 🤣
Glad you’re making you some paper with GT7 content, hope to see more BeamNG content though.
Man i remember the first time i crashed my car at the nurburgring in assoluto racing

The reason why I crashed all the time was because I did without Traction Control
Still can't believe I did this in two days and my winning lap was 0.0500 of a second away from not being fast enough. I feel like it all comes down to mastering section 1 and the long sweeping section near the end of the track. Everything else has a little bit of room for error.
They decided to up your reward but also make sure you rage in the process. The absolute troll that they are.
Won't lie, I kind of loved this challenge - weird handling and all.
Amazingly all the cars in gt7 still sound like vacuum cleaners!
Haha he's playing the funny yellow evo music :)
6:37 is basically the world championship time. Tough
Do all the racing experiences
You get like 40+ million
I would listen to this guy and watch his stuff way before I watch the garbage demonstrations for the gold licenses. This is how I race and drive, I don't use tc and I'm not assisted by the game to gold something. This guy is legit, and will point you in the direction you want to go
Those modern Gt3 acting like 1960s GT race cars 🤷🏻
Congratulations, you have the golden experience
I really hope this gets a pc version, gt is the one game series I've missed since switching to xbox and now pc
hasn't happened in 25 years. I wouldn't count on it.
plus like 90% of steam users would have to turn the graphics way down lol.
As much as I’d love that to happen, I highly doubt that will happen.
Only because of the whole Xbox/Windows/Microsoft crap 🥲
Not gonna happen indeed, but you can buy a PS just for one game, I know many GT players who have a PS just for GT.
@@High.on.Life_DnB I am one of them
Bit of a snap on the exit :)
Just got gold on this a couple days ago. Probably the single hardest thing I’ve ever done in a video game.
Haha this teaches me that you should always gold as soon as you can when the game is released. The first section gold is now 39.2 which sucks cuz I can beat the old 39.6 repeatedly
Going to wait until my new wheel gets here before I attempt this one
Z-tier youtuber? Don't sell yourself short mate, you're at least x-tier 😄 keep up the awesome work.
If money were the only issue in this game, I would have been fine. Somehow they took the already broken penalty system from Sport and made it even worse, and that doesn't even touch on the lack of offline play. I deleted it, and won't go back unless there are massive changes.
Your editor is brilliant.
So, how do you go about that one with a controller.
I know the video is old, but I would like to know if you changed the brake balance or left it at position 0.
Somehow this is the only track I’ve been able to gold besides some of the super easy oval tracks.
Took me almost 2 weeks and some tears to get Platinum for Nurburgring GT Sport.
You made it look easy. It took me 6 hours to do it with my shitty old TS150
You made a beautiful lap m8.
I think gold is crazy difficult so I would not even suggest it to people.
I did bronze and I was happy. Now I am back at Tokyo 😄
very nice round, i just started with a dd pro wheel since gt7 comes out. I just made it today in 6;36;600, this is a very hard course, but I like it very much.
It's big but it's complicated, I can't remember the last sectors 😂😂😂
I’ve only tried it a couple of times, but getting 2 seconds off every times has been infuriating.. I am driving to the best of my ability but it isn’t enough. I will say though I am proud of how quickly I have improved at this game, should have it by the end of the week!
I haven’t gotten it YET but my last lap was a 6:38:200 which is so close in a six minute lap. If i try on a new day i have a training lap or 2 on time trail that gets me into it 😁
I'm gonna wait till they fix the oversteer before I try this one.
Are you still going to do a Beam NG Tuning guide? I could certainly use the help trying to tame the Bolide. I found a mod that gives her a V10, adjustable aero, and AWD which I've been using but she likes to get very tail happy when I lift off the throttle and I don't know how to get that solved.
its crazy how different GT7 is to ACC. I take corners too fast in GT7, and too slow in ACC. plus nothing beats the car sounds in ACC lol.
Why do you think that's the case? Different brake markers? Different feel for brake sensitivity? Less confidence to push as hard in acc?
15 hours later i got it finally! 😂 6:37,02
I am one with the nordschleife now 👀
I did in hours cuz I wanted to better than gold, the full lap wasn’t perfect but still got 2 seconds better
You can say what you want, but with a Pad, you just can't drive as fast as he does, cause the Handling is way too sensitive! Players with Experience on a Wheel, just have a easier Time golding this. And that's a bit unfair if you ask me ...
I am 6 seconds out still for the lap😭😭
No way I'm going through that crap with a controller, I tried first sector and went clean and still only got bronze.
@@Invizable99 GT Sport is pretty generous. This time is normal for GT3 cars in real life, including other real tracks where the gold time is based on real life times.
@@KikuraKun I don't care about real life because I'm just an average gamer playing video games, not everyone can does this, only good players with a wheel, and this makes the average player feel ripped off and angry that a company would only cater to elites. Actually I don't think the GT3 cars in GT7 have less grip then in other Sims or real life, because you won't be able to drive them without TC especially the front engined cars in any other sim and in real these cars are undrivable without TC too as far as I know. In GT7 you can drive the without TC so I think they have more grip than in real life
