This is the first time I don’t have moisturize every two days. I can finally push my wash day to every 2 weeks. I am trying to work my way up 4 weeks protective styling. Arghhhhhh! I swim daily, so I have to wash out the salt/chlorine. My hair is natural and in a protective style -French braided with a crotchet on top. So there’s low to no manipulation. I think you’ll say don’t use shampoo daily, perhaps? And to use a conditioner instead? It’s hard to keep my hair moisturized. But I love swimming. Thoughts and ideas for me?

I have the same problem. U might have seborrheic dermatitis like me. I just have to wash my hair every week even with the protective styles in. U can also get ointment from the dermatologist. When I had braids in I just sprayed my scalp with water everyday and I noticed a big decrease in dandruff.
Try out the As I Am Dry and Itchy Scalp Care line. This has hands down helped my dandruff and dry scalp. But If yours is severe I would go see a dermatologist.
