It's weird putting a face to the voices after all these years. I knew about Joe cause of diary of a song, but the other 3 are a mystery. One thing I'll say is that I've always thought John C gave off chaotic muppet energy (pls don't ask me to elaborate), and sure enough, in video form, it's giving Gonzo. Bert + Gonzo = Caramanica's aura 💚

34:04 Morgan Olivia Rose’s story in Hulu’s Queenmaker touched my heart so much. It’s such an unusual way things turned. From socialite prodigy to beautiful young woman finding her footing. Her instagram is wow… I can’t believe she’s not already the face of something, considering the political climate.

When they first covered him I searched and I'm still confused what the hype is all about. Music is subjective, but... is he not just the 2020's yeehaw Elvis? All this praise and success for essentially just repackaging hip hop for a white audience. Might be shade to Elvis cause at least he had notable charisma and style. The only thing Wallen's success proves is that twitter was right and if lil nas x was white, country radio would've loved Old Town Road. Feels weird to say LNX has sons, but he absolutely does.
I’ve been wanting a video podcast form from the popcast for years. This makes me so happy. Then to see Yam Yam from survivor on the cover photo of this makes me even happier

can’t say i see the point if the NYT video team isn’t bothering to spice these up with some clips and images of what they’re talking about. please keep publishing in the audio feed because i’ll stick to that unless this deluxe version becomes genuinely deluxe

@@monicacarrilllothey play tiny clips of the songs on the audio podcast - always have. gave it ten and scrubbed through, if you're not seeing obvious visual content that way then there isn't nearly enough to justify watching what can better be simply heard

I lost my appetite for "reality" TV after it ceased to be spontaneous reality (circa 2005-ish?) and became nothing more than free actors ad lib-ing fake controversy ginned up by the show producers. It even spread to the likes of game shows and cooking contestant shows. Uggh, this generation loves the fake. Hey, thats the real question: Whats up with The Fake?
