The Firecracker Arrows Monk interaction is intended. When the Monk released, Arrows were given many separated reflections circles within the Arrows with a radius of 1.4. These were implemented to prevent the Monk from being able to deflect ALL the Arrows. You can notice this on the Arrow’s card screen. In radius, it shows 1.4 tiles when in reality, it’s 4 tiles.
It may be intended to reflect like that, but it's annoying in a game that has almost every interaction predictable. Can't depend on the deflection to deflect arrows, but every other reflectable spell is always consistent. Maybe to make it unable to reflect all the arrows, make the arrows near him reflect, but the ones on the edge reflect less.
@@umFerno yes, it's very inconsistent. I tested it with a dart gob and firecracker 10 times in a row with them hugging the monk, clearly deflecting. They only survived 3 out of 10 times, and got hit but one wave of arrows most of the time
The worst thing about firecracker being added to the game is that it f*ing gave midladder menaces with their mother's credit card a cheap splasher that can hit air and now evolve and survive arrows too. Fireball is mandatory now in midladder 💀

Honestly I didn't even think about the possibility of her needing to be near legendary range. She would fit perfect into a legendary spot. Her unique ability would be the fact her cracker explodes on impact. Royal ghost invisibility, ram rider distract etc.
I think the most unpredictable cards are : Evo skelly Firecracker And golden knight They Always have this moment when they do something and you're like : HOW ?!?!?
You are forgetting that all decks that are made with firecracker, really know about this, so they make the decks in a way that this isn't a great disadvantage. Firecracker is broken, you just need to see the meta, there's no deck that hasn't arrows...

@@arcto2 that is true. The fact that she essentially can do what the executioner or wizard can at 3 cost+ her advanced utility isn’t really balanced. Also, I know the devs don’t let rarity determine power but legendaries are supposed to have unique abilities and I think the pushback is definitely a unique ability which goes against the game logic. I would ultimately settle for having each splash projectile only able to hit one enemy and having the damage slightly reduced.

You can’t “predict” a firecracker with anything other than another unit to sacrifice into its gaping maw until it kills that too, and then takes your tower.

As a golem player I detest the mechanic of FC, it hit golem and it kills everything behind it, if you manage to take FC down, there's another one popping out. Use rate is also absurd, 70 percent of matchups have FC
what i hate about cards like firecracker is that: its way to easy to use and way harder to counter. there fore you see an abundat amount of it in lower arenas where ppl dont play as much and frequent there fore the mechanics arent sharp.
I don't hate her, she's just way too op, like, 10 times better than princess, deals more damage, has recoil, doesn't die to log, has evolution, and we're talking about common vs legenedary, always that you place it will have positive value and thats way too strong
I play firecracker since its released. Theres no way she is a common card, she shoots from the other side of arena, just like dart goblin, wich is a rare cause of his range, plus she has splash and knockback. How she is a common lol
about the monk arrows interaction, the arrows is calculated as multiple projectiles over its area, so it is impossible for a monk to reflect the whole arrows, and he will usually only keep a small area safe from the splash the firecracker in the pro match died because she was too far from the monk. the firecracker in your first test lived because she was right on the monk, and the monk reflected an arrows part that allowed the firecracker to not get hit by any other parts then in the next clip where the firecracker died, it was because the arrows were placed differently. the monk reflected the middle part of the arrows and the firecracker didnt get hit by that part, but since the firecracker was kinda on the border between two of the arrows parts, even though one was reflected by the monk, another part overlapped and killed the firecracker anyway
13:09 I would’ve said this before any evolutions were in the game… Now, there are essentially 3 top decks every season that run the most broken cards in the game on top ladder, most of which being giant graveyard. There is little you can do depending on 80% of the decks you play to outplay a giant graveyard player. And from just entering ultimate champion to about 2500 trophies, NINE OUT OF TEN DECKS YOU PLAY AGAINST HAVE EVOLVED FIRECRACKER ALONGSIDE SOMETHING ELSE THAT DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE, AND IT IS UTILIZED AS A WIN CONDITION THAT GETS MORE DAMAGE ON THE TOWER THAN THE ACTUAL WIN CONDITIONS DO. I don’t care about the knock back, but if this card’s evo is not heavily nerfed then it should stay 3 elixir and die to log. Princess is doing “just fine” according to supercell, which is a 3 elixir card that can’t do literally anything anymore and it dies to log. There is no reason why that stupid card should be as unkillable as it is. By the time you kill the first one; another one is already on the field.
im glad to see you mention ian77 here. hes become a huge pioneer of hog decks now and was the reason many of us started using the firecracker. i still remember when boss_cr made a video on this "number 1 hog player" with only like 3k subs or something and i was baffled to see how well his hog synergized with the other cards. that classic hog firecracker eq deck soon after became the first deck i ever maxed and since then i religiously watch ian77 and only play hog eq. his super helpful commentary also helped me go from the average midladder bum to consistent finishes around 2000 medals. hes the goat 🐐🐐
Firecracker is in desperate need of a nerf, rework, or just completely removed from the game. It has created such a terrible toxic meta. I heard that it has around 51% usage rate which is kinda insane. It has way too much range in all honesty and the Evo Firecracker also has too much range. The spread should be reduced and have less damage, still enough to kill swarms but not enough to be a near tank buster. Either that or it should be increased up to 4 elixir because it all honesty it kind of deserves to be a 4 elixir card in it's current state especially since Eve firecracker survives arrows, log, and barbarian barrel
Yeah it's insane. A couple of weeks ago I was so frustrated that I started counting everyday how many times either of them are used in the matches I played. Turns out firecraker is present in 92% of decks, hog rider is at 86% and both of them together at 81%.This is disgustingly bad and I have no words for it
I don't agree... you just have to get better with your predictions and overall get better playing the game. If your opponent is overleveled yeah it's p2w but otherwise firecracker is not actually as broken as most people think it is.
@@arcto2 I am not undermining the skill issue. The problem is that the whole meta shifts for some cards. For example, golem decks and lava hound decks are almost vanished, as well as decks with no building due to evolved cards. A card that almost always gives a positive trade in any way will allow anyone to easily use it without being too skillfull.

Firecracker has been an integral part of my main deck (which I use 98% of the time, even in challenges) for probably four years now (I'm about to hit eight years) and I'm completely unapologetic. My second level 15 (after balloon, also in my deck) and my first evo.
I think it needs a nerf, cost 4 elixir, or removed entirely (can only hope). It outclassed the princess and basically replaced her. It’s in way too many people’s decks and I’m tired of seeing it. Just earlier today I played 5 matches in a row that all had firecracker in my opponent’s deck. Really dumb how its range can get chip on your tower even when it’s 3 to 4 tiles behind the bridge. And it’s really easy to protect it with its scooting back motion and really easy to cycle with its cheap elixir cost. Literally almost every firecracker player I spectate, they’re spamming the firecracker card to play until they have the elixir to place it…

Firecracker, whether you predict it or not, whether it’s evolved or not, gets an insane guaranteed negative or neutral elixir response out from your opponent. Although evolved bomber is broken and can do insane damage, it doesn’t have nearly as much HP as an evolved firecracker (which when I first commented still could not die to arrows) and its very easy to get killed by many cards even if it gets tower damage. Firecracker literally protects itself by distancing itself out of range from most of the units in your deck. Mind you, default bomber is essentially useless most of the time. But normal firecracker still gets 10 times more value than a princess, dart goblin, goblin gang, or evolved bomber on both offense and defense. There is no counter play to an evolved firecracker currently and it’s way too better than the bomber for just one extra elixir. The bomber cannot push itself back from melee units or dodge spells. The bomber cannot destroy an entire lava push if left unchecked for three elixir. The bomber cannot have an entire archetype be carried on its back (hog eq). I’m open for discussion, but watch ARCTO’s video again (I think that’s what his name is) on the history of the firecracker. He very accurately shows why the firecracker is overpowered, annoying, and guaranteed value, even in a meta where it does not thrive.

The reason for the arrows hitting the firecracker are that, they are individual. So if the firecracker is far enough away from the monk, she gets hit. Notice how the arrows still hit the ground farther away from the monk.

As a goblin giant/archerEVO deck firecracker is at worst a mild inconvenience and at best a funny meme I actually look forward to fighting since firecracker players are not hard to beat if you know the strats
the monk actually reflects only the arrows in a small area around him and it's not a bug, it's intentional, but one thing i noticed is that it's really inconsistent sometimes cards die to arrows even though they are right besides the monk or they survive even when they're pretty far away.
I was talking about this to the Clash Royale discord server, and we mostly agreed it’d be way better if it died to log but did more damage. It’s so annoying as its such a cheap counter to so many troops

Being a common card, she outperforms the princess. She reacbes the same distance, she has more health as she can't die from a log, she has greater splash area, she sometimes can dodge spells giving insane value and she also has evo. She can be compared with other cards, executioner, musketeer, archers, wizard and bowler, yet the conclusion would remain the same: she is broken. This card must be fixed, its just ridiculous.
I'm new to CR, been playing 3-4 months and I'm at 6180 trophies. Looking at my battle log right now, excluding 3 of my clan wars matches, the last TWELVE people I've played against used firecracker... It's so insanely broken, low skill, cheesy and just fun-ruining. Best defensive card in the game, highly mobile, huge damage, impossible to get a positive elixir trade on, attacks ground and air, common card AND it has an evo... It honestly makes the game not enjoyable. Something I've noticed as a new player is that everyone whines about broken metas, like giant-graveyard right now for example. But through all the metas that come and go week after week, firecracker is a single card that remains entirely broken at mid ladder.
I really think Firecracker feels like a epic or legendary card. It does so much and has a very unique attack mechanic similar to the princess. I wished it had shorter range and didn't move as far back when they shoot because it's so frustrating to fight against if you don't have a good counter. Also I would buy a game for the 20 bucks.
Monk and arrows interaction is still a bit weird but from my experience, he basically doesn't reflect the whole radius only protecting a troop near enough to him
-reduce the dmg at least enough to take 2 shots to kill a minion with the splash. -reduce almost to 0 the pushback -die to log -eliminate splash venom from EVO. -reduce elixir cost to 2.

Firecracker is in desperate need of a nerf, rework, or just completely removed from the game. It has created such a terrible toxic meta. I heard that it has around 51% usage rate which is kinda insane. It has way too much range in all honesty and the Evo Firecracker also has too much range. The spread should be reduced and have less damage, still enough to kill swarms but not enough to be a near tank buster. Either that or it should be increased up to 4 elixir because it all honesty it kind of deserves to be a 4 elixir card in it's current state especially since Eve firecracker survives arrows, log, and barbarian barrel
i think it should be buffed to epic honestly too easy to lvl it up as common
They Should rework her evolution, but whatever was the rework they have to make sure she die to arrows

Yeah it's insane. A couple of weeks ago I was so frustrated that I started counting everyday how many times either of them are used in the matches I played. Turns out firecraker is present in 92% of decks, hog rider is at 86% and both of them together at 81%.This is disgustingly bad and I have no words for it

I don't agree... you just have to get better with your predictions and overall get better playing the game. If your opponent is overleveled yeah it's p2w but otherwise firecracker is not actually as broken as most people think it is.

@@arcto2 I am not undermining the skill issue. The problem is that the whole meta shifts for some cards. For example, golem decks and lava hound decks are almost vanished, as well as decks with no building due to evolved cards. A card that almost always gives a positive trade in any way will allow anyone to easily use it without being too skillfull.
thats, true, pros will always "overcome" the easy to play but gets insane value if its truly not broken, but since 99% of the player base isnt gonna think like that, all they see is "free damage sign me up!" and it doesnt lower the diversity an "average skill" in a sense@@avadakedavra7193

Firecracker has been an integral part of my main deck (which I use 98% of the time, even in challenges) for probably four years now (I'm about to hit eight years) and I'm completely unapologetic. My second level 15 (after balloon, also in my deck) and my first evo.

I think it needs a nerf, cost 4 elixir, or removed entirely (can only hope). It outclassed the princess and basically replaced her. It’s in way too many people’s decks and I’m tired of seeing it. Just earlier today I played 5 matches in a row that all had firecracker in my opponent’s deck. Really dumb how its range can get chip on your tower even when it’s 3 to 4 tiles behind the bridge. And it’s really easy to protect it with its scooting back motion and really easy to cycle with its cheap elixir cost. Literally almost every firecracker player I spectate, they’re spamming the firecracker card to play until they have the elixir to place it…

Firecracker, whether you predict it or not, whether it’s evolved or not, gets an insane guaranteed negative or neutral elixir response out from your opponent. Although evolved bomber is broken and can do insane damage, it doesn’t have nearly as much HP as an evolved firecracker (which when I first commented still could not die to arrows) and its very easy to get killed by many cards even if it gets tower damage. Firecracker literally protects itself by distancing itself out of range from most of the units in your deck. Mind you, default bomber is essentially useless most of the time. But normal firecracker still gets 10 times more value than a princess, dart goblin, goblin gang, or evolved bomber on both offense and defense.
There is no counter play to an evolved firecracker currently and it’s way too better than the bomber for just one extra elixir. The bomber cannot push itself back from melee units or dodge spells. The bomber cannot destroy an entire lava push if left unchecked for three elixir. The bomber cannot have an entire archetype be carried on its back (hog eq). I’m open for discussion, but watch ARCTO’s video again (I think that’s what his name is) on the history of the firecracker. He very accurately shows why the firecracker is overpowered, annoying, and guaranteed value, even in a meta where it does not thrive.

The reason for the arrows hitting the firecracker are that, they are individual.
So if the firecracker is far enough away from the monk, she gets hit.
Notice how the arrows still hit the ground farther away from the monk.

the monk actually reflects only the arrows in a small area around him and it's not a bug, it's intentional, but one thing i noticed is that it's really inconsistent sometimes cards die to arrows even though they are right besides the monk or they survive even when they're pretty far away.

Being a common card, she outperforms the princess. She reacbes the same distance, she has more health as she can't die from a log, she has greater splash area, she sometimes can dodge spells giving insane value and she also has evo. She can be compared with other cards, executioner, musketeer, archers, wizard and bowler, yet the conclusion would remain the same: she is broken. This card must be fixed, its just ridiculous.
Only costs 3 elixir and DOESNT DIE TO LOG.
I'm new to CR, been playing 3-4 months and I'm at 6180 trophies. Looking at my battle log right now, excluding 3 of my clan wars matches, the last TWELVE people I've played against used firecracker... It's so insanely broken, low skill, cheesy and just fun-ruining. Best defensive card in the game, highly mobile, huge damage, impossible to get a positive elixir trade on, attacks ground and air, common card AND it has an evo... It honestly makes the game not enjoyable.
Something I've noticed as a new player is that everyone whines about broken metas, like giant-graveyard right now for example. But through all the metas that come and go week after week, firecracker is a single card that remains entirely broken at mid ladder.

I really think Firecracker feels like a epic or legendary card. It does so much and has a very unique attack mechanic similar to the princess. I wished it had shorter range and didn't move as far back when they shoot because it's so frustrating to fight against if you don't have a good counter.
Also I would buy a game for the 20 bucks.
