I’ve always loved this song. It’s on my “simple playlist” when others may be in my car that can’t handle my more progressive playlist. To me the song has a AOR sound.
I had forgotten how good this band are! They are on my playlist but I haven't listened to them for a while. I certainly will be listening to them on my way to work today. Thanks for the reminder.
At first listen it is a simple song - but so much much going on, especially if you listen to it in sequence - the whole album is just perfection I think

I NEVER got into these guys DUE to not giving much care, I heard one song I didn't like by Slipknot and that was it for me until a few months back, SHAME ON ME! lol. the Stone Sour songs I have heard now, yeah SHAME on me! lol
@@dijionrose5296 I've checked a few out actually and my 11yr old and I LOVE his cover of Wicked Game, imo almost as good as Chris Isaac's, best cover of it for sure imo! that song was what got Ava willing to check Slipknot with me for Snuff :) We had done The Devil In I and this cover, she said yeah let's check out more!

I hear ya on the bass would be nice louder in the mix and I am like you EXCEPT I am now a former bass player and one can NEVER get enough bass as a bias, BUT yeah I've made the comment you did on a few songs I did, a shame the bass was not in the mix a bit louder, would have just given a bit more punch to the audio mix.

I love Stone Sour! Great performance & review. Song #3 is the first song I think of of their's. Very cool!
The guitarist who played the solo is Jim Root. He also is the guitarist of Slipknot
I guess I better give Slipknot a look....never got into them.

That's one of the reasons I started this channel. I wanted to be different, and most importantly I wanted to be honest and genuine.
Check out some old-school Stone Sour with the track ‘Tumult’. That’s a track with drive.
