    The part I think people often forget is that this is 24 hrs a day too, when you are getting overtaken and shipping that much water by a following sea in pitch darkness you get all my respect.
    I just don’t think I want to be that wet that long. True sailors there.

    Das Schiff wird von der See überrollt. Die Wellen steigen von hinten und auch seitlich ins Boot ein. Schon beängstigend, hoffentlich läuft das Wasser vom Boot ab und dringt nicht unter Deck ein. Aber die Dagmar hat es ja geschafft, die Zone zu durchqueren. Beeindruckende Aufnahmen. Das Schiff kämpft mit der See und geht als Sieger hervor. Eine gute Konstruktion und gute Seemannschaft machen es möglich. Danke Arved!

    Fantastic as well as fantastically frightening. Given I'd have jumped at the chance to do this when I was younger, I know for sure I am officially old now. It's not so much the fear but the absolute certainty I would not survive this even if the ship does. As the saying goes, 'where there's no will, there's no way José' for me.

    • @jimbalbier8526
      @jimbalbier8526 Год назад

      I have not the slightest idea how old you are or what you consider being officially old, but I'm sure you'd make it. Why not? Thousands of men and women have survived this and turned out ok, and so would you. When you're physically fit that is. Mental strength comes out of nothing if needed in a trip like that ;-)
