It sounds like Judy hesitated before saying "Ballerina Barbie" the first time, almost as though she wanted to say "SuperStar Barbie" instead. She did several of these commercials, and I wonder if she did them all pretty close together, and was momentarily confused as to which doll she was presenting here.

I remember this Ballerina Barbie commercial with Judy Strangis( whom I loved when she did Dynagirl in the 70s as well as Goldie Gold in the 80s) and would like to know if you could upload more Barbie commercials w/ Judy Strangis in them because they bring back neat memories
I wish that you had given better views of her pointe slippers. I had the original and her slippers were molded even the “ribbon” was molded and had a little ball type closure that went through a hole. Also, she came with a bouquet of red plastic roses. My most treasured Barbie that I ever received.
I had posted a picture of my Sweet 16 Barbie to Flickr and someone mistook her for the Ballerina Barbie and it's true in that they have very similar face molds.

I think because Judy was used to saying “Superstar Barbie” that she almost said it but then quickly realized that she had to say “Ballerina Barbie”.

This was my very first Barbie doll.
Mine was either this or the Fashion Photo Barbie. What I remember most vividly is that little bouquet of flowers. I thought it was just delightful.
