That's if you're receiving your promotions from the IBJJF, then it will take you about 48 years to get your 9th Dan red belt. Helio's side of the family doesn't care about the IBJJF. Helio promoted Rorion to 9th Dan when he was only 51 or so, and Relson is about 60 here. Relson stated in an interview that it takes 40 years (minimum) to earn your 9th Dan after earning your black belt.
Honestly I love and respect the Gracies. If you want to follow that, great. Lots of people don't like dedicating that much. But others do. And it's a life choice. I respect that. I personally train Krav Maga. And in less than a year I earned my yellow belt. And within a year and two months in the yellow belt, I earned my orange belt.
That's not the only criteria. You have to be an ambassador of sorts to Jiu-Jitsu. You can't just have your black belt until you're very old and expect to be promoted to Coral, let alone Red belt.
Rickson will receive his in due time. You can't get promoted to red belt unless you've been black belt for X number of years, no matter how much you deserve it before hand. The promotion aspect of BJJ is totally different once you're a black belt.
Rorion destroyed many bridges with his brothers when moved to the US. one of them is with Rickson, he locked Rickson with some terrifying contracts and copyrighted Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in which was very lucrative for Rorion and none of his brothers.

No one will ever earn a red belt in BJJ again, it's impossible. Even Roger Gracie and Marcelo Garcia are black belts, and they're the best of the best. Rickson Gracie isn't even a Red Belt.

Rorion is a great man and did amazing things for BJJ but he does have a dark history with back stabbing his brothers for profits.
