Here's how to bomb recover and never waste a Wondering (side B) for recovering. When in the air, down B with your analog analog stick straight down. Often people drift to early causing them to B reverse it. So be patient. Remember to down B with the stick in the bottom notch (for gamecube) and THEN drift towards the bomb. Now to catch it, you need to be patient yet again. Drift towards the bomb, let go of the stick and press GRAB. Not an arial attack. Remember when you grab, to ONLY press grab. This includes the analog stick. Do not move it when pressing grab. Now, immediately up B. When you up B, you have enough time to fully charge it. After your up B, air dodge UP immediately. Now here's what most people don't know. >>> The direction you are blown up indicates which way you are facing.
I'm now able to do it consistently but I only seem to be getting two jumps. I use tap jump so it's possible I'm accidently using one without realizing but I even tried in slow motion on training mode and same issue?

N8George I highly recommend turning stick jump off. This way you can short hop and have better control
