    Very good video. You are a very good presenter. You should do more video for GUE !

    I use a nerd with thick dry suit gloves. No issues using the buttons

    Buttons work fine even with heavy duty dry gloves, don’t forget you are not pressing a button you are touching it

    Will I need reading glasses with it?

    Nico,
    I’m not a GUE diver at present but would like to go down that route..👌🏻
    Do you know where the nearest GUE centre/club is to Dartford, Kent please?…

      Hi Dean,
      Thanks for reaching out. Have a look at this link, it should help you locate an instructor close to where you are. Let me know if any further questions on this, happy to help. Or do e-mail me on nico@gue.com

    GUE advocating the use of decompressioncomputers?

    • @mariosx12
      @mariosx12 3 года назад +1

      To the best of my knowledge GUE advocates only no reliance on decompression computers. I don't think that most GUE divers spend 1K to just get a glorified bottom timer...

    Cool thing, but €2000 euro is a bit much for me 😅

    They should make it so it connects to the Perdix / Petrel so it can display on both the Hud and your Wrist, and also be controlled by wrist. That way if you have to donate your primary your still in the game. they could also be switched to single mode for redundancy (two is one, one is none)

      Both are independent computers you can set to whatever you like. Why would it need to connect to another computer? They will display roughly the same information. There's no need to sync them.

    What does "GUE" have to do with your setup? Google tells me it's just an organization?

    • @GUEdivers
      @GUEdivers  Год назад

      can you elaborate on the question?
      GUE is an exploration & education organisation and we were reviewing a product from our friends at Shearwater. What's the confusion?

    • @YZFoFittie
      @YZFoFittie Год назад

      @@GUEdivers in the video is said that the NERD cannot be used with a GUE setup because you donate your primary in an out of air situation, what does GUE have to do with donating your primary?

    • @GUEdivers
      @GUEdivers  Год назад

      @@YZFoFittie Their are of course other agencies who use the longhose set up.
      But this video is on GUE's RUclips channel and we are of course speaking directly to our audience. So we were addressing a concern we anticipated would be raised. All good?

    • @YZFoFittie
      @YZFoFittie Год назад

      @@GUEdivers sorry I'm a beginner so it's confusing. You are saying that your organization dictates people's rig setup?

    • @GUEdivers
      @GUEdivers  Год назад +1

      @@YZFoFittie kind of yes. The idea behind that is uniformity, so no matter where you are diving in the world, and no matter with whom you are diving (even if you've never dived with them before) they will have been trained to the same standard on the EXACT same rig setup, so you can be assured you are with someone who will respond exactly the same underwater, whether having fun or even in an emergency. It's one oif the things that makes us special and that lur community always expresses joy at!

    I don't feel like this meets the quality of the content you normally put out. Seems more of an add for shearwater and provides a perception that you don't much time diving it.

      Well, sorry you feel that way Chris. We had about 2 weeks diving with it, and had a quick turnaround time to meet
