You definitely can! You can use a worsted weight cotton or acrylic yarn. The Bernat Maker yarn would be a great option as well.

You can definitely use a cotton yarn. I would recommend holding two strands together.

Instructions are not always super clear, so I would not recommend it as a first project, but the finished product is beautiful! I'm making two more as christmas gifts 🥰
