Hey I m in huge problem .. while replacing the dc/power board on my logic board , I accidentally broke the port/stand on which the right speaker cable rests(pried it out). The right speaker doesn't function now and since it's embedded with the logic board I am afraid if there is any hack to get it to work or not; I can't afford to buy a logic board at the moment. Can you pls suggest me some solution. Can this port b fixed somehow? 😟 MacBook model is a1398 mid 2014

    Great video and step-by-step acts.
I have the same model. But it was locked by system lock PIN (some call it activation PIN) but I could not get the pin (be sured this is an old model passed to me in legit way). There are some used logical boards selling at Ebay. Will replacing the logical board bypass the system lock PIN? Some of the used logical board labeled CPU RAN and SSD specs, I am a little confused with those board. I know the RAM and SSD were soldered onto the board. Do they also have CPU on the board? I assume the physical size all fit regardless of CPU, RAM and SSD.

It's called a BIOS password. Just like you can do it on any Intel/AMD motherboards, it can be done on Mac motherboards also.

Old Battery is dead, but the usb-c chips work fine on both sides..

My 2016 15” MacBook had the same issue that you have , this video helped me being able to remove and install the new one that I purchased on eBay. Although you want to use a newer one , make sure that it uses the same components as your 13” But this video game the ability to get a used board that had larger hard drive and fast processor! Kudos! Thanks
