  • Just a quick video of my recently purchased Bambu Lab X1 Carbon 3D printer printing a beautiful castle with rainbow colored PLA filament. These printers are so nice. This print took roughly 25 hours to print. The results are excellent.

thank you. I think it looks cool and I'm normally not someone that likes to have a bunch of nick nacks all over my house. But the castle does look cool.

Can you please include the following information in future prints? I am just starting, purchased X1 Carbon Combo yesterday.
What filament? Where did you get the file?

The castle can be found on the printables website. Here's the filament I used from Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B0CB33Z6RL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

They are awesome printers. Kind of expensive but pretty awesome.

If it’s your first printer, probably not. It’s better to start with a cheaper printer like the A1 Mini or smth before hopping towards a printer that is 1500 dollars.

Damn what is your infill set to? You could drop your infill to 10% and gyriodal and you would have been fine. Nice print though.

thanks.... I think the infill was default which was 15%.

Wow thats huge, how much does it weigh?

Its actually not that big. I think the native size is 8 inches but I wanted to print mine as big as my X1C would allow which was 10 inches. I haven't weighed the print so I can't comment on that.

I'm SO doing this! That's a ton of infill, is that just to get it to use all the colors? My wallet is already screaming.

I just let the printer use the default setting which is 15%.
