My son sent me Summit your videos because I have a small projector in my apartment so yours of course we're a lot more advanced than the one that I have it's just a small projector with a mini remote that you can set for up to six hours and it goes off automatically.. thank you so much for your time and energy into this nice presentation of video. I agree! Like why does this guy not have 2.5 Million already!? He’s articulate, has an impressive setup, a good attitude, he’s good looking, and he’s clearly informative. As well, you are unfortunately the uninformed if you think Galaxycove or Hypelights are anything more than successful dropshippers with good marketting; They are simply selling you the same projector from China under their own name for a significant markup. That's why I choose not to even use their names in the review, as it is not their "own" product. Also I find it interesting you claim I am unbiased, as I don't make any sort of claim to a favourite in the review, I simply give and show the facts.

@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE This might a dumb question especially since I've been working in IT my whole life but when you said "hey computer, turn off everything" or something to that effect to cut off your ambient LED lights. Were you using cortana on Windows 10 or did you link the different brands of wifi enabled LEDs to Alexa? but customized the words to get her attention to something different than "hey alexa"? As much as I hate using stuff that are "always listening" I definitely like the Alexa app as my daughter can call or video chat with me from home as well as integrating all the different brands of lights like the phillips HUE etc.

I've wanted the bliss lights for the longest time but always decided on getting something else I needed instead but now i'm getting it for sure! With all the info you said I know i'm making a good purchase. I agree with what you said also with what you'll be using the lights for and my reason is ambience. I love that it's more detailed and looks more soothing. The other 2 just look too busy for me to be able to relax. I would definitely get one of the others for a party though! @@hxana3249 I was looking at the Starship Hype Lights one. I have a sort of room set-up where having a projector in the middle of the room would be best. I live at the top of a building so my walls are sorta slanted inwards and I think that projector will get the most coverage. I really liked how that one looked compared to the rest :)

Haaaz! First off, amazing, your too kind. Be one of the first of many I hope. As for your question, my favourite is the Moon Projector, it's grab and go nature by being the only one with a battery, makes it easy enough to bring out and use every once in a while.

The lights that weren't connected were my production lights!

I have the star ship star projector and you actually can move it if you tilt it towards the direction you want it to be but only if you put it on a corner that the projector could lean on. It’s soooo coool. I love it. You can also make the laser and colors move like a disco ☺️ and it looks so good in my room. I recommend also.

Finally! I've been looking for a good star projector review video and this one was terrific and answered a ton of questions. I just wish the Blisslights would project different colors and have more sporadic laser movements. I hate how clean and obvious the laser pattern is, to me if you want a star projector you want it to look more like stars and not lasers. One of the first star projectors is the Twilight Star Projector which actually is built like a star. It's definitely not the most well made or cost effective, but it has the best laser movement I've seen. The stars move in different directions, it's hard to pick out a clear pattern which I like, and it even has shooting stars!

Great reviews! I had recently purchased the Hiya-Naya Star Projector, which had quite a few great features, nice bright light output, and..... SHOOTING STARS! It was MUCH better than the BlissLight 2.0, which I also tried. No other unit that I researched had shooting stars, and oh yeah.... the Hiya-Naya unit was about half the price. But, after about two days of usage, the damn thing died! So, that's when I went with the BlissLight 2.0, and it just didn't compare. The Hiya-Naya was like being on Space Mountain at Disneyland, complete with an amazing swirling nebulae. The stars on the Blisslight was more like somebody shining a flashlight through holes in cardboard. Full disclosure, I'm a 58 year old grandpa who just wants to add a bit of the awe of our universe to his otherwise very cool den. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into making this video, and I hope to find something that can compare with or beat the Hiya-naya in the future.

Hi Melissa, thanks for watching - Glad you found the review helpful. Yes, you can purchase the Blisslights Sky Lite with either a green or blue laser (color of the stars). The one in the video is with the green laser (green stars). The blue one will have blue stars.
I have the third projector in my room and it's brilliant I was a bit iffy at first but I love it the one thing I wish the company put a lot more work into is the remote the buttons can be very flimsy and get stuck sometimes
Hey there. I appreciate the review; I've been shopping for one of these. The one thing I don't hear discussed is the value of the Starship with a multi-color palette vs the Bliss with a single color? Even though the Starship isn't as bright as Bliss, it seems that multi-color is a big part of the fantasy, unless the execution is junk.
Hey Rob, fair point. There is definitely more "value" of features in the starship type projector. It does feel a bit less expensive from a build perspective than the Blisslights, however if you value the features then you can't go wrong!
There is cheaper company that sells it lower than amazon. They still have 50% off and it came faster than amazon. It had more light feature compared to other lights so I loved it. @t

ive got the GalaxyNova projector- which is exactly the same as the Spaceship projector i legit pressed 3 buttons and its making a high pitched ring that i cant seem to turn off As soon as i use the green laser i get a high pitched buzzing- or when i change the brightness awesome 10/10
Hello there, this was very very well done. Thanks for doing this. You're amazing. So, I have a question. I'm a photographer and I'd love to incorporate these galaxy lights into a couple of my shoots. I do in-studio portraits and I'll like to know which would be most practical and effective given I might use at least speedlites and stuff. Would be using against backdrops like yours. Thanks again. Hi Nathanael, Thanks for watching and dropping some comment love! In terms of your question, the projectors wouldn't stand a chance against your speedlites. The projectors get washed out just from normal ambient light (due to the fact they are made to be used in dark rooms), they don't go very bright and as we both know camera's love light to create high end looking images. You would have to match your key light to within near the range of the projectors light output, which would prove to be tricky, (not impossible, but probably not practical). There are likely other ways to achieve creative backgrounds, or using real projectors with much more power depending on what you're trying to do. You could always try compositing as well to compensate for this. Anyhow hope this helps to shed some light on the topic! ;)

Recently started using colored lights to decorate my room and now I’m thinking of getting a star projector too and this video was so helpful!! Really laid out all the information clearly and made it easy to compare each of them. The only thing I wish you had added would be the prices and whether they have a shutdown timer mode. Great video, I genuinely can’t believe this channel is so small with videos that are this high quality bruh

Thank you for the well detailed reviews. This helped me decide to buy the galaxy cove, the settings look more fitting for my preferences, the color variety, and music mode is a nice luxury for its steep price. I have the blisslights, and even though it's not made for outdoors, it works awesome when you are surrounded by woods(I even had a bonfire, the lasers overpowered the bonfires bright light). Indoors, I have pretty large sized rooms and even the dimmest settings I still get a glare from the projections bouncing off the ceiling even at 12 feet high when I tried sleeping while it was on.
@@anyaseptum1908 the galaxy starship is mesmerizing. There's color variety, but the lasers(blue green red and white) sit in certain areas of the ball so there's some limitations trying to get something like orange or purple to work. The animation is gorgeous, and the app works with alexa but after it sleeps you'll have to manually turn it back on. Says it's not responding. There's different limitations to both remote, and using the app but im sure over time there would become a more improved starship that fixes the minor inconveniences. Starship definitely indoors, it's beautiful And it turns out there is an upgraded version 😄

Dude, I must say this is the best review of star projectors on YT. I feel extremely silly after that comment I made about the conclusion & outro part few days back. At the very beginning I thought that this is such a professional editing that I automatically assumed you were having like 6-digit number subs and just wanted to skip the video to the end. But I missed a lot back then. With this great work you will achieve that anticipated number of subs in no time. And btw, I purchased the Blisslights Sky Lite :) ! Bit disappointed it does not change the colours (at least of the nebula) but I understand it is very durable product and that is decisive. Thank youuu !

@@jezko1910 Hi NowCube, perhaps a silly question, but there's a sticker covering the laser Aputure that needs to be peeled off. I make a few jokes about it in the video. Also the stars are able to be shut off with one of the buttons, that could've also been a culprit, or maybe you just really did get a lemon.

Here's my question -- do these or any other similar products have a voice control system change, i.e., "Please dim the lights," or "change light color to Red." Hi THomas, None that have this built in. However, there is a new Smart Home Star Projector that can be connected and voice activated through an Alexa or Google home. Currently this is only one I know of on the market which I am actually working on a review video of as we speak, that should be out in a few weeks. @@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE This might a dumb question especially since I've been working in IT my whole life but when you said "hey computer, turn off everything" or something to that effect to cut off your ambient LED lights. Were you using cortana on Windows 10 or did you link the different brands of wifi enabled LEDs to Alexa? but customized the words to get her attention to something different than "hey alexa"? As much as I hate using stuff that are "always listening" I definitely like the Alexa app as my daughter can call or video chat with me from home as well as integrating all the different brands of lights like the phillips HUE etc.

I live at the top of a building so my walls are sorta slanted inwards and I think that projector will get the most coverage. I really liked how that one looked compared to the rest :)

I have all of my lighting and decor connected to smart outlets they look exactly like these ones here: amzn.to/3bIuUHI - This allows me to use easy voice control to turn everything on and off! The lights that weren't connected were my production lights!

I have the star ship star projector and you actually can move it if you tilt it towards the direction you want it to be but only if you put it on a corner that the projector could lean on. It’s soooo coool. I love it. You can also make the laser and colors move like a disco ☺️ and it looks so good in my room. I recommend also.

Finally! I've been looking for a good star projector review video and this one was terrific and answered a ton of questions. I just wish the Blisslights would project different colors and have more sporadic laser movements. I hate how clean and obvious the laser pattern is, to me if you want a star projector you want it to look more like stars and not lasers. One of the first star projectors is the Twilight Star Projector which actually is built like a star. It's definitely not the most well made or cost effective, but it has the best laser movement I've seen. The stars move in different directions, it's hard to pick out a clear pattern which I like, and it even has shooting stars!

Great reviews! I had recently purchased the Hiya-Naya Star Projector, which had quite a few great features, nice bright light output, and..... SHOOTING STARS! It was MUCH better than the BlissLight 2.0, which I also tried. No other unit that I researched had shooting stars, and oh yeah.... the Hiya-Naya unit was about half the price.
But, after about two days of usage, the damn thing died! So, that's when I went with the BlissLight 2.0, and it just didn't compare. The Hiya-Naya was like being on Space Mountain at Disneyland, complete with an amazing swirling nebulae. The stars on the Blisslight was more like somebody shining a flashlight through holes in cardboard.
Full disclosure, I'm a 58 year old grandpa who just wants to add a bit of the awe of our universe to his otherwise very cool den. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into making this video, and I hope to find something that can compare with or beat the Hiya-naya in the future.

I have the third projector in my room and it's brilliant I was a bit iffy at first but I love it the one thing I wish the company put a lot more work into is the remote the buttons can be very flimsy and get stuck sometimes
Hey there. I appreciate the review; I've been shopping for one of these. The one thing I don't hear discussed is the value of the Starship with a multi-color palette vs the Bliss with a single color? Even though the Starship isn't as bright as Bliss, it seems that multi-color is a big part of the fantasy, unless the execution is junk.
Hey Rob, fair point. There is definitely more "value" of features in the starship type projector. It does feel a bit less expensive from a build perspective than the Blisslights, however if you value the features then you can't go wrong!
There is cheaper company that sells it lower than amazon. They still have 50% off and it came faster than amazon. It had more light feature compared to other lights so I loved it. @t

So, I have a question. I'm a photographer and I'd love to incorporate these galaxy lights into a couple of my shoots. I do in-studio portraits and I'll like to know which would be most practical and effective given I might use at least speedlites and stuff. Would be using against backdrops like yours.

Hi Nathanael, Thanks for watching and dropping some comment love! In terms of your question, the projectors wouldn't stand a chance against your speedlites. The projectors get washed out just from normal ambient light (due to the fact they are made to be used in dark rooms), they don't go very bright and as we both know camera's love light to create high end looking images.
You would have to match your key light to within near the range of the projectors light output, which would prove to be tricky, (not impossible, but probably not practical). There are likely other ways to achieve creative backgrounds, or using real projectors with much more power depending on what you're trying to do. You could always try compositing as well to compensate for this. Anyhow hope this helps to shed some light on the topic! ;)

Recently started using colored lights to decorate my room and now I’m thinking of getting a star projector too and this video was so helpful!! Really laid out all the information clearly and made it easy to compare each of them. The only thing I wish you had added would be the prices and whether they have a shutdown timer mode.

Thank you for the well detailed reviews. This helped me decide to buy the galaxy cove, the settings look more fitting for my preferences, the color variety, and music mode is a nice luxury for its steep price. I have the blisslights, and even though it's not made for outdoors, it works awesome when you are surrounded by woods(I even had a bonfire, the lasers overpowered the bonfires bright light). Indoors, I have pretty large sized rooms and even the dimmest settings I still get a glare from the projections bouncing off the ceiling even at 12 feet high when I tried sleeping while it was on.

@@anyaseptum1908 the galaxy starship is mesmerizing. There's color variety, but the lasers(blue green red and white) sit in certain areas of the ball so there's some limitations trying to get something like orange or purple to work. The animation is gorgeous, and the app works with alexa but after it sleeps you'll have to manually turn it back on. Says it's not responding. There's different limitations to both remote, and using the app but im sure over time there would become a more improved starship that fixes the minor inconveniences. Starship definitely indoors, it's beautiful

Dude, I must say this is the best review of star projectors on YT. I feel extremely silly after that comment I made about the conclusion & outro part few days back. Bit disappointed it does not change the colours (at least of the nebula) but I understand it is very durable product and that is decisive. Thank youuu !

I ordered it from Amazon and I will seek refund. Pretty depressing that so far all of the items I ordered over Internet were poor quality or defective. Bad karma I guess, smh lol. I wish to look for some alternative (even some that was not mentioned in the video), would you recommend any ? I am looking for a legit company, wide spread (Blisslights turned out to be also not so wide as expected) and moving stars. Thank you in advance !
@@jezko1910 Hi NowCube, perhaps a silly question, but there's a sticker covering the laser Aputure that needs to be peeled off. I make a few jokes about it in the video. Also the stars are able to be shut off with one of the buttons, that could've also been a culprit, or maybe you just really did get a lemon.

Hi -- that was a great review of the 3 projector lights. Here's my question -- do these or any other similar products have a voice control system change, i.e., "Please dim the lights," or "change light color to Red." I think this is a new feature on a very few strip lights -- it would be awesome if I could find a laser projector product that has this feature. Thank you very much and stay healthy
Hi THomas, None that have this built in. However, there is a new Smart Home Star Projector that can be connected and voice activated through an Alexa or Google home. Currently this is only one I know of on the market which I am actually working on a review video of as we speak, that should be out in a few weeks.
