GOVEE READ THIS COMMENT! If you took the revolutionary stars from the first projector you made, brought them over to this device. Then added the ability to change the color of the stars, you would have created the MUST HAVE PRODUCT for star projector enthusiasts. So close Govee, you just barely missed that mark.
They don’t force you to use the speakers, so don’t. More options is always better than less. My wife loves when things like this make ambient noise. Meaning the product is for people like her who like the noise, and people like you who don’t have to use the speakers. Perfection.
@@FUTURESPACECOLLECTIVE Why u call it 2.0? Seem like difference product the cosmic one cost double price than this model doing only stars and aurora :S I missing something?
Thanks for this useful review. Did you review any bigger and brighter projector more suited for large rooms or do you have any recommendations to light up a wedding ballroom?
Was looking forward to your review of this projector! I definitely prefer this style of projector as opposed to the last one Govee did. I agree that the stars of their last projector looked nicer, but I do love that the stars twinkle, which is something I wish the Sky Lites from Blisslights would do. The aurora effects here give me Rossetta Star Projector vibes, and I love how the colors look. Cant wait to get this projector!!
The last one is much better the diffusion of the lights and how the stars move is like no other projector I have seen, this is just a better version of the ones that do the same on Ali express and is not a touch on the old one when it comes to the star effect.
Same here. Im always disappointed that products like this dont have white stars - I dont think white lasers exist ( at least in wallet freindly small consumer devices). I think it would need 3 lasers (red, green, blue) to create the white one which probably causes more issues!
I purchased the previous model based on your review and I love it! This one seems nice too and I do like the aurora lights feature, but I think I still prefer the original!
Keep the aurora, add the govee pro laser stars, game over I'll actually buy one, would be my favorite projector. And if they can make it brighter, make it brighter.
Seems like a nice step in the right direction. This holiday season I'm going to be looking for a replacement to my current projector that's a couple of years old. I forgot the name of it, but it's literally one of those brands in your bin at the end of the video there. It's pretty old, so I'm hoping there some improvements.
With television projectors, you can get a more ideal image by painting your wall or using a screen that is a particular shade of grey. Do you know if these would benefit from the same?
People cant seriously believe this one is better than the previous model lol. Although they are blue, the stars look more realistic with the previous projector, natural spaced out.
I don't understand why they keep using green lasers. If these were meant for clubs, sure. But this is for home use. The blue is more appropriate in my opinion. And the 3-D effect you get from the first one, like you're moving through open space… Nothing else I've seen quite like it. Would love to have more options along those lines
If they took the 'Aurora Lighting' from this H6093, and instead used the 'Dynamic Galaxy Experience' blue star lasers from the H6092, WAY better star effect on the old one. I think they can do it, I will wait for them to release something like this. Man, what a missed opportunity on their part. It would sell way better if it had those two instead
I wonder if this can be DIYed by some skilled electronics person. If I knew enough I would attempt it I think it would make the ultimate galaxy projector.
I have a lot of Govee products and they always feel like quality, except for any of the build in speakers, those always suck but I'd never want to use them anyway. I have the Govee Galaxy Projector Pro and it is a real beauty. This one looks kind of meh though, although it still looks a lot better than most other aurora/green laser combo. To me though, whenever they have green lasers it always looks cheap.
To me both models are unique, i wouldn’t choose one over another.. i have the Galaxy projector and i’m very happy with it The star projector is really great and i think they should make a blue stars version.. not a fan of green stars.
How does it do with colors besides pure red/green/blue? Can it handle yellow without splitting it into red/green? Likewise cyan (green/blue) and magenta (red/blue)? 4:14
Everytime I buy something from govee they come out with an upgraded version making me regret buying anything from them in the first place. Kinda sneaky if you ask me
Uurrggghhh, I’ve waged a war against black electronics and furniture - it shows dust 2 seconds after I clean it. I hope Govee considers offering a white option.

HI, I don't like, miss brightness, is only 5 volt, no adapter include. I buy from amazon and I return. I like product from Govee but the star projector is realy BAD.
@@Mogul20478 nonsense. I bought one 2 weeks ago for $35 on Amazon...it came with 13 slides and adjustable shooting stars...the only downside is that I don't think they sell more slides separately so eventually you will grow tired of seeing the same images.

Wouldn't that just be a software change though easy fix for them
Agreed 100%.
Really wish Govee would stop adding bad speakers to all their products that don't need it. Really cheapens them.

Yes, projecting to a "middle gray" color would help to saturate the colors a bit more.
Brilliant video and brilliantly reviewed. I have subscribed.
Appreciate it! Welcome aboard.
I’d prefer a blue laser version.
In a small home theatre with very low ceilings (2m) , will it fit the ceiling? Is it generally aesthetically pleasant for movie viewing, as an effect?

2:58 mesmerizing!
I would like to know how it looks like when you use all your Projectors at once. 😄

Without using any white noise filters, what is the operational sound in a quiet room like?
It does emit some operational sound, but nothing really worth talking about.
You never really seem to give your actual recommendation for the best one for you. It is an opinion, but better educated than the rest of us have.
Back to the bread and butter, I love it.

hey man i may have it but your video has other value i can't help but watch it... greetings dear canadian friend🇬🇷
Do all matter devices work with dynamic view or razer synapse?
There’s gotta be a good explanation why they haven’t released a white color stars projector 🤔
White lasers are too expensive and/or complex.
This device cost maybe $5-10 to produce, and the white laser costs probably more.
What is the best recommendation for a bathroom?
Contrary to what the name suggests, I'd recommend a toilet before a bathtub
Query could u use it as a star ceeling for the cinema room ie just white stsrs

It creates the colors using a combo from it's RGBW leds. It does a good job with magenta and cyan.

Too bad the base doesn't have any holes for ceiling mounting.
I would like a tripod thread mount as well!
I'm looking for an aurora projector that reacts to music, for a disco party. Anyone knows of any?
The stars look too uniform but I'm 2 weeks worth of govee coins away from getting one.

I believe it does have an auto-off function by default after 4 hours or something, but I believe you can disable this.

Yup. Deal breaker
還是覺得pro的星星移動軌跡好看多了
雖然這款的星星也有做一些變化,但是還是有點假假的
如果可以做到單純pro的星星移動軌跡,和簡單的星雲模式,而且完全不需要喇叭,那就完美了
Pro缺點就是太貴,而且喇叭很沒必要
Until someone can eliminate the symmetry on the laser, they all look pretty much the same.
Talk to when it's Dreamview compatible
