7:45 Was looking for music sync, thanks. Flickering is terrible. Its just turning off and on. Can it at least the fade be slowed? Disappointing since their other lights have proper syncing. Presumably, I don't have any Govee products yet. Do the others sync well with music? Thanks.
@@TheBooban great question and glad I could help with that! To be honest I haven’t seen it where you can make it slower in reaction to music. Others are GREAT whenever it comes to music sync. Really makes the atmosphere. This is probably “the worst” whenever it comes to music sync. Nothing cool. But like I said in the video the effect in itself is really cool outside of music
@@coppercarver ok, was really hoping to just get the backlight 3 lite and this and be done. But music sync is so important after Netflix and chill date night, I'll need to pick another companion light :D. Thx again for covering music. Like no video covers the music sync part.

@@coppercarver the AI gaming one? I would love to use my hdmi input, but it’s expensive and my tv is old so it’s overkill for my hdmi 1.4 system :). There are AliExpress ones, $50, but I want the ecosystem and they probably just flicker to music too. Btw I’m expecting the Govee 3 does more than flicker but since nobody does music sync on them, I’m not sure. Do they do more than flicker? With TV OFF?
@@TheBooban yes! They also have scenes that you can turn on! That’s what I do for my parties. I only have the 2. But they should also have scenes. And I totally understand what you’re asking. I think the Aurora device is the only one I’ve seen that just flickers. But I haven’t seen all device. Just a lot lol

Awesome video, I have a lil Govee cave myself. The running out of plugs part hit home for me 😂. How’s the brightness on this compared to the projector pro? I own that one and I feel like it’s not bright enough. I don’t really use the disks too much. Keep at it brother!
@@EveryDayJay415 thank you so much! Plugs are so true!! 🤣😅 I can tell you I don’t own the projector pro, however I had a friend come over and he said it was brighter. However I would still recommend in a decently dark room. I wish it was brighter
@@coppercarver hmm I’m on the fence, the projector pro was a bit of a disappointment. I do like usbc power, the moving Star feature also is cool, it’s just so dim in general. The discs are decent but are even harder to see. I’ve seen generic $30 units that blowout it out of the water as far as light output. They are definitely not as feature rich though, so 🤷🏾

But I got the cheaper one from Amazon that can do everything except smarthome. I don't currently see the justification for the €40 surcharge for Govee

Hey, just a suggestion. Keep the music volume lower. At around 5:50 the music overpowers your voice.
