Great option as a family vehicle. In my experience electric cars right now are great daily commuters. I don’t like traveling long distances with my Model Y. I hate charging every 1.5-2 hours on long road trips traveling at 85MPH.

I just drove this back to back against the Grand Highlander and I wasn't expecting too much, but I was very impressed how subtly different they were.

My Y Performance lease is up in August and this (and Le Grande Highlandeur) were my double takes for going back to ICE. Just got the Q8 etron for my wife and thinking we needed a hybrid for our longer road trips. I was looking at the TX Hybrid Max but at that price I’d rather go RS1 and keep the wig splitting acceleration. Can’t quit you EV’s.

Came for the DeMuro slander, stayed for the Lexus TX review. I wish Tesla would do a Model X refresh to make it more competitive as a family hauler with more conventional SUV styling.
The 10K difference between the TX 350 and the Grand Highlander is definitely worth the cost ( and more ) if you break down and add up all the upgrades that Lexus did to the Highlander. So, to summarize all the arguments if not biases, this is all about AFFORDABILITY. If the price is too much for the Lexus, you can still always have the Grand Highlander.

Scottsdale is starting to get a few of the top end 500h+ models you should do a review on this, since it could live 90% of its life as an EV with 33 electric miles. miles. I would love to get your opinion on that car.
The title is questionable. I really didn't get how this vehicle will effect ev sales. The comment about not having to install a charger at home is a strange one. You only have to install it 1x...then your set for all future recharging needs. If you buy this vehicle your stuck buying 91 octance fuel..forever.. and all the necessary engine maintenance. It seems like an EV with a similar setup will more than meet all your daily needs and then some...minus the engine maintenance.

Great car but the fact they couldn’t direct you to Alexis Texas is a dealbreaker. Hopefully a software update can fix it.
Always remember to use plenty of leather lotion when doing a lot of rubbing in a Lexus folks
I asked the built-in Lexus computer. a few things like age of Justin Timberlake or the weather for today and I'm pleasantly surprised that it was able to give me a decent answer. much better than the last Mercedes or BMW that I rented.

The annoying thing about Lexus is there reliability & how much there dealerships replace broken or worn parts that arent broken or worn. Take your Lexus to a toyota dealership for servicing.
