There are a lot of Matt solos on the new album....the last 8 songs, which are the new ones. Matt has been singing since he was in preschool (about 25 years). His father is the music minister at their church and Matt has a college degree in vocal performance, so I'm sure the members of PTX are benefitting greatly having him on board.
Just to clarify, that degree is from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Other notable alumni include: DJ Khaled, Charlie Puth, Steven Tyler, Quincy Jones, Meghan Trainor, Psy, Wyclef Jean, Johnny Ramone, Melissa Etheridge, Aimee Mann, Pat Metheny, Bruce Hornsby, Branford Marsalis, Robert Moog (yes, the inventor of the synthesizer). So pretty good company, and it's no surprise Matt's very talented.
Twelve years in and they’re still improving with every release. Creep, I Rise and now this one - we seem to have a new era of full-out, mature, really robust performances from each singer. Man, look out, PTX is coming on strong! And then there’s Kevin, whose talents just unfold in all directions. Loved your reaction, as always. Peace …
Matt can hold his own. He needs no pointers from the others on how to sing. Everybody was spectacular and on point. I love the new sound. Sounds like this is the start of something new and wonderful. I know that Seal will be proud.

Yes that was freaking ridiculous! I listened to that song over a dozen times on the album arguing with myself who had that line after Kevin's solo...was totally wrong! LOL This was amazing, they just get better and better and don't miss!!! Loved it!!!! ❤
Just came here to say that you would definitely NOT upset people for saying this is your favorite of all time. I have followed PTX for YEARS and listened to their songs, covers and originals, ever since the Evolution Of Music. I can proudly say that this is MY personal favorite of all time. The arrangement, vocal, harmonies, Kevin in general, it is just hard to top this.

Btw I *loved* the way Scott exploded into his part after Mitch, and then Matt dazzled us. (I do think Kirstie's mic was too low.) I've listened to this a few dozen times and don't think I'll ever get tired of it. 🎉🎉
