Hi there! That all depends on which lens configuration you choose. If you go with a middle of the road lens such as PRIZM Sapphire, Torch, or Jade you can get the most utility out of it meaning that it will work in bright conditions and overcast. However, having a low light lens for when it is dumping out would of course be most optimal. This comes down to the riding conditions you will be in. Having a second lens is never a bad idea. Hi Ari! This year Oakley decided to rename the Flight Deck, 'Flight Deck XL'. They added and 'XL' to the name to help further differentiate it from other models. They also did this with the Line Miner although they have not yet updated their website with the new naming convention.

Are the lenses inter- changeable? Im looking at buying an XM but want a pair of goggles that you can change the lenses for low light or bluebirds.
