    2 questions among these 3 models :
    - how the inside view of these 3 goggles ?
    - which one len with ventilation can fit any 3 ?

  • @Minwary

    Nice review. How about the difference in internal volume of these goggles? I feel like both of the newer models has lenses that sit closer to your face, not as close/flush as the Line Miner but closer than the Flight Deck. This gives you better peripheral vision all around.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 года назад +2

      You are onto something there! The Flight Trackers toric lens is a blend of a spherical and cylindrical lens so it would sit a bit closer to your face than the spherical lens on the Flight Deck and Flight Path XL.

      While not technically qualified as OTG goggles, these models may provide enough room to be worn with glasses. However, there is a far better solution... SportRx Prescription Goggle Inserts! Click here to learn more 👉www.sportrx.com/oakley-prescription-snow-goggle-insert.html

    Hi there, do you mean to say that all 3 Flight Oakley models fit Asians well by default since the nose part is "universal" now?

  • @draginator6

    Are there any updates to the flight path that would make them a better choice over the flight deck since they are newer? I prefer the design of the flight deck with the black iridium lens but don't want to miss out on any new developements.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 года назад +3

      Hi there! I would say you should stick with the Flight Deck. If anything the Flight Path XL is ever so slightly larger and there is a rim on the top of the goggle. Both differences are hardly noticeable. I hope this helps!

    Sorry to get at this video a little later in the process.
    But is there any physical size difference on the flight paths?between what used to be L (only size available) and now XL (only size available. I bought some last year and I dont have the box anymore, and there is no size markings so i dont know which ones I have. And i am very interested jn getting additional replacement lenses?

    • @sportrxeyewear

      Hi Eric! Oakley recently changed the sizing from XL to L for most of their larger goggle models. Most size differences in the new models will de defined as M or L.

      @@sportrxeyewear Well,
      1) you could provide a better view of the side by side aspects... like dimensions (typically mysteriously missing on the Oakley website) and showing far out from a dummy face and how high the top rim is for the various goggles.
      2) You show a cool color spectrum display, but what about showing a "field of view" display (and for the different sizes) which would be as equally valuable?

    • @stufish73
      @stufish73 9 месяцев назад

      100% agree. All of these reviews are useless and mostly just plugs for the RX insert or SMU. I don't live in the US, I can't get an insert, I need OTG, how about doing a real world review for OTG users. Dimensions are required, show the goggle being worn without the lens so we can see the clearance and fit. Put some glasses on and do it again. These are all basically the same frame/chassis with a different lens. If I am wrong, then unless you give us a proper review how are we supposed to see the differences?

    I'm really confused about Flight Deck sizes. Flight Deck Standard, Flight Deck XM, XL and now Flight Deck M and L. Could someone kow what replacement lenses should I choose for Flight Deck L?

    • @bryanboldt887
      @bryanboldt887 2 года назад

      It was an Oakley marketing change to reduce the confusion. The old name XM = M. The old XL = L. If you look at the current line up of goggles on Oakley's website, you won't see any with the XM or XL. Bonus though, while the naming scheme has changed the goggles and lenses have not, which means if you are wanting to save some bucks for the exact same goggle (except for the box tag) then shop for the XM or XL version which are being cleared out by many stores.

    Does Oakley plan on releasing a rimless snow goggles with Toric lens? like an upgrade to the awesome Fall Line XL or a toric version to the fall line XL?

      Hi Mike! We do not yet know what is in the plans for next year but if I had to guess I would say a toric rimless option would be a safe bet! If you are looking for a large goggle the Fall Line XL is great!

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 года назад +1

      They are pretty comparable overall. Some prefer the cylindrical design and feel like it offers more peripheral vision. Also, the more rectangular shape give a bit more 'lens real estate', as it were. If the most peripheral is the most important thing, then stick with what you have. If you're interested in getting a spherical lens, that offers the best optical clarity, then go with the Flight Path!

    I have narrowed my next choice down to Oakley or Anon. With every video the peripheral lens is discussed when describing about seeing the sides of the goggles. I have issues with seeing the frame when trying to look down to my feet. What would be the best goggle to NOT see the frame when looking down?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  3 года назад

      Great question, Mike! Any goggle with a rimless bottom would mean there is no frame to interrupt your views. One goggle that could work is the Oakley Flight Deck: www.sportrx.com/blog/sportrx-flight-deck-xm/ Hope this helps!

    • @bryanboldt887
      @bryanboldt887 2 года назад +1

      I had issues with the XM/M size Flight Deck. The lens sits further out than I anticipated and so even though there is no external bottom frame, the inner frame which the goggle uses to attach the lens does obstruct my downward vision. Even though the Flight Deck have a larger inner opening than my older Crowbars, the Flight Deck have poorer downward vision to the point where I sometime feel like I have a touch of vertigo. Swapping out the XM/M to a XL/L resolved the issue and actually fit my face a bit better.
