Good for you. I'm the same way if I don't agree. It doesn't spoil the true reason I enjoy a host. Wish more people could see things as you do. Thanks for being an adult.. Be safe.

Things going wrong..i used to be an electronics technician..i can remember things would just go smoothly, most stuff would get fixed or tune up as expected..then, you run into these 1, 2, 3, 4 week streaks when you cant do a darn thing right..you get do the point were you start really trying to be careful, you up your game, you ask advice, you do everything per the book, but shit keeps failing.

always just as interesting and impressive when you just tear things apart. as if they were as simple as could be. and the stories are like topping on the cake.
If I was trying to fix that sprayer I'd swap the motors from one side to the other to see if motors were bad or if its a flow problem. But that's just me without your knowledge and tools. I'll just stick to working on bikes. Happy Memorial day.
I worked for a company here in Benton Harbor Michigan called AUSCO Products and we built brakes for off highway vehicles and JohnDeere and Agco was just two we supplied to.Watching you word on these machines bring back good times.Multi-disc brakes including Drive line brakes Service brakes Fail safe brakes you name it.Keep up the great videos Warren. As far as the coffee cup goes i am here for the videos not to see what is on ones coffee cup.SUBSCRIBER for life.

Well...luv that coffee cup mate. I like your style and work ethic. A lot of owners are their own worst enemies. Bad machine operators, awful at oil changes and servicing intervals. You watch some their videos when changing hydraulic hoses when swapping implements, no attempt to clean out the dirt on the couplings. 80% of all hydraulic problems are from dirt entry. When challenged about it..but it's got a filter. Best part is that you use a shop manual and use a torque wrench. Now as for that sprayer, those valve o-rings and those white back up rings were shot. Anyways I like your videos, no BS, st8 shooter. Thank you.🇦🇺🇺🇲
I’ve had similar problem with a pea viner hydra-static motor and it was locking up now and again and would go like hell down road. And I found that someone put a fresh set of pipes from a valve block to motor but got them wrong way around. I swapped them around never a problem after. Also I don’t know if it has sensors to motors them viners has a slip control when the sensor went down it would do similar thing you had swap to manual slip control in the computer and it would stop. Every year we had to do case leak test with them. Love channel Warren
Warren, I had a new hagie sts 12 that quite moving but it had good charge pressure. The product manager for hagie gave us a new hydro to put in the machine. After I replaced the hydro it still didn't move. I flow rated the hydro. I talked to one of the engineers at hagie on this machine and we did a case drain test and found two wheel motors that had high return on the case drain that was causing the wheel motors to not spin themselves at all. I would check the case drains on those two motors.
I would suggest on the Wilmar hydro to swap the cartridges side to side - Left to Right - and see if the issue moves. If not then the issue is likely in a motor on the side that loads the engine. I think the pump swash plate is moving as you have reverse but there may be an issue mechanically in the rotating group. Case drain also is a good idea before buying a motor or more valves. Good video - keep up the good work
Its catchup time been away for a few days have fun Warren wish i was still able to get that involved used to work on Cranes dozers ect fora time interesting work dang heavy mind
Hi Warren thanks again for your video, as you’ve mentioned tee in a gauge at all 4 motors and see what pressure you have at each motor, your issue seems to be like your one wheel motor is the cause the difference in forward and reverse is the direction of oil flow it’s almost like a hydraulic oil lock causing the engine to labour? Check to see if the motor you suspect has a higher case drain leak off, record time and litres hopefully you’ll find your issue 👍 Regards, Luke 🇬🇧🔧
Enjoying the green paint video. Especially this one since I got just like it!!! Only thing is it’s had a easier life Only been in the green shop once and it was minor!!!! 4K hours on it now
That’s right buddy it’s just a little dirt people one day you are going to be buried in it lol thanks for sharing buddy god bless you and your family God bless all service members thank you for your sacrifice
Railroad was probably a "High Hat"--a road vehicle with rail wheel adapters. Those range from around 3/4 to over 5 ton trucks in 2 and 3 axle configurations. They can sound passing strange, especially if the rail wheels are not fully aligned. Or if traction is from friction from dual rear rubber road tires. The MoW (Maintenance of Way) vehicles use all manner of exposed engines, too, which may or may not have working mufflers.
I've got a John Deere that is hard to start. But if you move the steering wheel back and forth when trying to start, it starts then. Otherwise, it cranks very slowly like it is under labor or hydraulic pressure. Doesn't matter if in neutral or park. It is on its 4th starter now. The last two are gear reduction.
Im not an expert but have been around sprayers like that, at best when your stuck in the mud you maybe have one tire in front and one tire in back pulling, oil goes to least resistance, just my two cents worth, and maybe you should get some change back, lol thanks for the videos and your service
Thank you for the video Warren, always enjoy your commentary and opinions,. Got a special request I don't suppose you or your wife can do a show and tell about your goats?
For that sprayer, can you bypass the valve body and plumb directly to each motor to see if one makes it labor? That is, if the case drain doesn't give you any indication? Or would it be too much flow to an individual motor? Also, with that valve body, is it possible that there is a crack internally that is allowing it to cross ports? Might be another thing to pressure test when off the sprayer.
JCB teletruck's (tlt25/30D) were the main thing in my world for busting cab windows - always had to check an operator hadn't stuffed a hammer or such other item under the seat runners before tilting that cab. You could break the back window too! If they had the vertical exhaust option it was secured to the rear of the cab by a small rubber bobbing/mount at the top - raise the cab and it would stretch and when it broke the exhaust would flick straight through the back screen on the rebound 😂. Think I was the only guy at my employer at the time who hadn't manage to do it.
Good morning Warren! Enjoying my Sunday coffee from my "caution! HOT COVFEFE" mug. Just sayin'. Haters never think beyond being triggered. Love hearing you think about that hydraulic conundrum. That's what coffee is best for. Them gears be turnin' in your head 24/7.
Hey Warren, do the drive motors on that sprayer have a flow control valve in the motor itself or is the valve block the flow control module? I agree about pulling the return line off that one motor because at least you will be able to see what type of flow and pressure you have. It's the best place I can think of to start. I wonder if the forward/reverse circuits are fighting each other in that motor or wheel circuit? The problem with schematics is that if you don't know what each part of the circuit does it's pretty hard to know when it's not working properly. I'm trying to think it like an automatic trans valve body. The circuits you see are controlled by the servos and check balls, but along with those circuits are also the lubrication and sensing circuits which control the balance of flow between all of the circuits at once. It seems like a similar system except instead of clutch packs you have individual drive motors. I guess the question is, what would cause the one motor to change polarity or direction? Is it possible for the high/low controller to be bleeding back through the reverse circuit to that one motor? If so, that would definitely make that motor hydro-lock or fight for directional dominance. I know that a weak spring or cracked seat can be enough for a circuit to leak substantially and I'm sure you've seen it a thousand times yourself. I worked on an Allison 10 (maybe 13) speed automatic that had one of the chambers bleed over and lock it in two gears at the same time. My instinct says its got to be something simple, but your clientele suggests the complete opposite. On that crawler, doesn't it have flow control valves at the main reservoir tank to keep the system from free flowing and maintain a minimum system pressure? I know these newer machines have a lot more sensor controls, but that one circuit having no pressure sure suggests a wide open vale port and you don't have any gushing oil anywhere, so it's obviously internal. Is a shuttle valve stuck in an open position or half way between positions that could allow an open flow situation? 🤔
You are dead on about the insurance. Had an older neighbor who we ended up having to take to the emergency room due to heart problems. He ended up in ICU for 4 days and stayed in the hospital for a total of 14 days. He was on disability from the forest service for a back injury 25 years before this & had no insurance. He asked the wife and I to help him with the billing stuff because they told him he owed just over 38k for everything and he didn't have that much in the bank. Once my wife explained to the billing office that he had no coverage at all but wanted to pay cash for his treatment, the lady with the hospital finally whittled it down and told us they would settle for 4,680.00. I never realized how badly hospitals are gouging everyone until she came up with that number. 33 grand and some change difference between the real cost for his hospital stay and what they make the insurance company pay. No wonder insurance premiums are so high, the medical community gouges the Hell out of them because they know they can get away with it.
Just another awesome video!! Thanks Warren. I know, doesn't that just kill you, ( I'm done with you ) Got love them there Nay sayers. Especially when you had know idea they even existed.
Lol well if a coffee cup piss off that person then oh well and they must hate there self cause the problem is them not you or who's on the cup but thank you for your service and videos and I hope people get thicker skin and remember we are free cause people like you.....
Does that sprayer have two pumps for the drive, if so it would be like my loader, so there is a check between the 2, and if that check is stuck open it will cause issue you have going on
Can you swap the front two motors and check if the fault is going to the other side. I had that once with a little hydraulic motor and internally some parts were messing up things. But that was a warranty claim.
Do you have a po box to send stuff to? Was happy to see a new video, because you are a damn good mechanic, and I love story time. I would think about at least getting aflac, because it will pay out money if you get hurt. I worked in a cemetery that didn't get around to taking care of the paperwork I turned in, and I got hurt by someone being careless, and it bankrupted me back in 2011. I had to have a lot of surgeries, and the comp people were ass #oles, and I ended up having to sue because they didn't want to pay for my last surgery. Just be careful out there, God bless.
You could try pulling the lines from the front two motors on the ag sprayer and looping the line together as a bypass? Make it rear wheel drive for a test?
Those o-rings that had perished in the sprayer valve block - would contamination from those cause that kind of effect in a hydraulic system (I'm definitely not an expert....genuinely just wondering about that)?
warren, you should explain to people, abut blue loctite. It is a thread locker, that can remove, unlike the permanent type, that you have to use, very high temperature to release.
I like me adjustable ratchet head wrenches, especially those that lock in a certain position. And may I thank you for supporting Trump by having that coffee cup. Once again great content. I had bought an Altec hydraulic test kit, yes a tad pricey yet it does allow you to hook up to a couple of ports for testing multiple ports at the same time, might be worth looking into for diagnostic on that sprayer and future projects.
Don't those Freightliner cabovers have nets on the pass through between the sleeper berth and the front seats to catch shit like a TV? Seems like an odd thing not to include it not, although they were largely solid cab mounts as well at the same time that conventional trucks had air ride cabs so there's that
Thank you so much for your videos, Warren.

Does that sprayer have two pumps for the drive, if so it would be like my loader, so there is a check between the 2, and if that check is stuck open it will cause issue you have going on
If you could test each motor individual I think that would be a good start I’m leaning to a bad motor or check valve issue

Can you swap the front two motors and check if the fault is going to the other side. I had that once with a little hydraulic motor and internally some parts were messing up things. But that was a warranty claim.
You can swap the motors side to side too, seems there's a few of those suggestions!
On that sprayer can you swap the motors from one side to the other to see if it starts pulling left instead of right?
Do you have a po box to send stuff to? Was happy to see a new video, because you are a damn good mechanic, and I love story time. I would think about at least getting aflac, because it will pay out money if you get hurt. I worked in a cemetery that didn't get around to taking care of the paperwork I turned in, and I got hurt by someone being careless, and it bankrupted me back in 2011. I had to have a lot of surgeries, and the comp people were ass #oles, and I ended up having to sue because they didn't want to pay for my last surgery. Just be careful out there, God bless.
Case drain test is always one of the first things I do for hydrostatic drives.
On the Wilmar, did somebody work on it before you and switch switch a line?
If the hydraulic motors are interchangeable, could you swap the left to right and see if the problem goes away..
Like that coffee cup...
What happened with the bad John Deere rebuilt motor? Thanks Warren!
Does that have a line relief valve in it that’s stuck?
warren, you should explain to people, abut blue loctite. It is a thread locker, that can remove, unlike the permanent type, that you have to use, very high temperature to release.
Nice coffee cup!!
Is the shifter sending sig to hy&low at the same time locking it up .
Don't those Freightliner cabovers have nets on the pass through between the sleeper berth and the front seats to catch shit like a TV? Seems like an odd thing not to include it not, although they were largely solid cab mounts as well at the same time that conventional trucks had air ride cabs so there's that
Amazing how that cab looks like an 86 series IH.
