Thank you very much for this great video. I've been wanting to code my car for quite some time, but just never had the nerve to pull the trigger on it. Especially with the dire warnings that you have to use a voltage regulator while coding; which I dont have. Well, I had a definite need to code today. Been having some electrical issues, and I found out that previous owner registered the battery they replaced, but hadnt coded it. Before I replace the battery I wanted to properly code the car and then run a full desulphate with a pulse charger. Your comment that you always do your coding with the engine running was the most important thing I learned from your video. I did just that. And to code the battery took literally 10 seconds in bimmercode after I started the process. No problems whatsoever. I very well may end up needing the replace the battery. I'll know after I desulphate it, and then drive it a bit. But the nice thing is that I know I can now pick whichever replacement I want, as I can just code the car no problem.
