- Join me on my journey as I delve into the world of mountain biking with the Trek Roscoe 7.
It all began at Phat Tire Bike Shop in Bentonville, Arkansas, where I eagerly saddled up for my first adventure. With excitement coursing through my veins, I tackled the renowned trails of Slaughter Pen and Coler Mountain, each twist and turn revealing the Roscoe 7's reliability and agility.
The following day led me to Two Rivers in Missouri, where I continued to put the Roscoe 7 to the test. Its sturdy frame and smooth handling made each ride a joy, propelling me through challenging terrain with ease.
Returning following weekend, I ventured once again to Two Rivers and explored the serene beauty of Fellows Lake. However, amidst the excitement, I encountered my first crash at Two Rivers. Despite the tumble, the Roscoe 7 remained resilient, emerging unscathed and ready for more.
Reflecting on my experiences, I wholeheartedly recommend the Trek Roscoe 7 to fellow newcomers to the sport. Priced affordably at under $1500, it offers unmatched performance and durability, making it the perfect companion for anyone looking to embark on their mountain biking journey.

Great video. Welcome to the Roscoe family! Enjoy and be safe.
Thanks!
Great video.!I am looking at picking up a Roscoe 7 too.I have been doing a lot of research.I have been out of mountain biking for abiut 15 years or so.Going to get back into it.Mostly will be doing light trail riding though. My butt is going to hurt.I remember that feeling!Your video makes me miss Arkansas so much.I have been out here in this Colorado mess for many years.
The Roscoe has been super fun for me! I also took a long break from mountain biking, about 13 years. I've been going twice a week for a month now, and I'm already in better shape, and my butt doesn't hurt anymore, lol. You will have a blast on the Roscoe! I wish I was closer to Colorado. I love biking and climbing there. I tried to move there a few years back, but the cost of living is just crazy high. I love being close to Arkansas. Not quite Colorado but it's definitely got its perks
sweet video. i'm waiting for my roscoe 7 to come in. happy riding
3:35 “sketchyyyyyyy OOF” 😂😂
I think you made a good purchase, it's a great bike, not only for beginners but for all skill levels. Thru Axles, air fork, excellent frame, boost etc ect All these are markings of a serious mountain bike. Anybody who tells you otherwise is an elitist mtb snob.
I have a Roscoe 9 but Roscoe 7 is also an excellent bike.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the feedback. I am having a blast riding it. The best bike is the one that gets you on the trail!
@@colby_rogers Enjoy the new ride 👍👍
For sure.Whole lot of those elitist mtb snobs out here in Golden Colorado.I am getting the Roscoe 7 soon. They can all look down their noses at me.
@@rca3rd judging others based on their bank account is dumb. I try to just have fun spread positivity and be happy with what i have! Enjoy your roscoe!
@@colby_rogers Whatever guy. What a 'dumb' comment. It is based on their ATTITUDE!I don't know what they make or care.I will enjoy it thanks.
Thanks for the video! Ordered my Roscoe 7 from a nearby Trek store a week ago and am very anxiously awaiting the call that it is ready. Initially was looking at the Marlin 8 Gen 3 but right now the Roscoe 7 was only $100 more so the salesman sort of upsold me to it. I’m pretty late to the mountain bike game as I’m in my early 50’s so didn’t want anything too hardcore. Looks like this will be a good all a rounder for an oldie newbie, can’t wait to get it and get on the (easy) trails! Will be looking for gloves now too 😊. Seems like I always wait until my hand is injured to realize I should’ve worn gloves, your video will help me be proactive in this endeavor.
Thanks for watching! I'm still having a blast on the trails! Enjoy your roscoe!
a good pair of gloves can enhance your ride, and protect your hands. As a beginner your gunna take a few falls. natural to put your hands out to break the fall so ...great vid and personally you cant go wrong with the roscoe 7 especially if your fairly new to the sport. its a good solid mountain bike to learn and gain confidence on.
Just picked up my Roscoe 7 today.
Nice! Have fun!
What cam/phone were you using while riding?
gopro 9! Looking at a 360 camera for my next investment
I am getting the same bike, but hey those are pretty hardcore trails for a beginner.
Thanks for watching! Enjoy your new Roscoe!
Great video. I really like your helmet. Please tell me what the model is. Thank you!!!

What size did you end up going with and how tall are you ?
Size large, and I am 6 ft. I think it's a perfect fit, but I obviously don't have much to judge off of since this is my first bike
