Learning to puzzle as a team really seems like its whole beast, just putting 4 strong puzzlers together won't suffice. Seeing this video makes the top teams' achievement at the competition look even more impressive, it underlines how difficult the puzzle was, even by itself, so as the third trial in a limited time competition.
Congratulations to anyone who finished it, during the competition and outside of it.

I would 100% want to focus on the dragon first (and no, not just because it's the word of the day lol). I find the scale texture to be easy to sort out, and I feel that it spans enough of the puzzle that it'd be very good to work off of. Hooray for finishing this one!! And hey, divide your final time by four and you plus three clones of you could've done it in less than 2 hours.

So happy to see you finally got to complete this one! My husband and I picked it up at the competition and finished it at home in a bit more than 11 hours. It was our first puzzle over 1000 pieces. I worked on the sand first and then struggled with that fabulous dragon eel thing. Thank goodness my husband did all the tiny fishies! The artwork is beautiful though! Thanks for sharing the artist's other puzzles. The gnomes one looks adorable. Maybe if I am feeling brave, I'll give that one a try - after doing your puzzle, of course!!

I first watched this video when it came out and thought: "Well that puzzle looks fun. I should try it." Then I got it for Christmas but never had the space to put together a puzzle that's bigger than 1000 pieces. Months later in summer when I did finally start it, I was shocked by how hard it was. I procrastinated working on it for literal months after putting together the edge and some of the most identifyable parts. Now I am back here to compare strategies. So far I am noticing that I did do most sections in the same order as you did, but then just ran out of patience for all the blueish scaly pieces. I guess it's time to grab an extra light and do some good old shape sorting. I just wish I had a bigger table and some actual daylight for that. All that said, I still love this video over a year later, I really enjoy your style and I love getting glimpses into your mind when you pause to talk about what you're doing.

I just subscribed to your channel and now watching the 24,000 puzzle videos. I had bought 0uzzles years ago, but never completed it. If only I could take a snap shot of the puzzle piece I'm starting to work on now. It's a 550 puzzle piece I'm starting out with. The challenge? To not have my kitties knock over the puzzles. 🥰 I am 45, married with no kids, unless you count the kitties. 😜 But I'm determined to finally complete a puzzle. Also, I play the piano. I started looking at my piano piece as a puzzle. Where do my hands go? Where does the music and the notes fit? How does it sound when I play that note? You really got me thinking thank you for these videos!

Congrats on getting this puzzle done. It would take me a long time, but I can see why it would be fun to do for fun. The squid calls to me, but I love bright colors so that makes sense, but the Dragon would be fun too.

I had 1 box of 10 puzzles, 150-500 pieces each, depending on the puzzle. I took out a 500 pc and it took me over 5 hours to build it. I am currently waiting for a couple of puzzles to come in the mail from Bits and Pieces. I am so impatient for it to get here. I am so excited to build puzzles again. It’s been decades since I’ve puzzled. I had to take a long break to have and raise up 3 babies. They are all over 30 yrs old, I think I’ve got puzzle time now 😊 Now I want to find the puzzle in this video too.

It’s funny that we can totally see you puzzling one handed for a lot of the red and yellow sections.

I was too focused on the competition last video, but this puzzle looks so nice. All the creatures look cute. 🐠
