I want to get each Krypt design for my puzzle loving Nibling. I know the black and the silver will fit her aesthetics but I'm not sure how gold or rainbow gradient will so I may get a custom color for that puzzle cut for her. What a wonderful option! Can you put a bug in Ravensburger's ear for a 4th cut with holographic puzzle pieces? or an image where you look at it from one angle its one color and another its another color?
y'know what might be fun to do? Mix the pieces of two of these Krypt puzzles together, and then assemble the two puzzles with all the pieces facing down! (no peeking!) At then at end, you can flip the finished puzzles over and see the patterns that emerge!

Who would have thought you would go from "never again" to solving it three times in one video? What a journey! I love when you swap puzzle pieces with the same cut. The gradient and pink puzzles look so pretty together.
hmm. Something crazy that we as a community could do, is to buy 631 different hexadecimal shades/colors and then each mail a unique individual piece to Karen, coordinated over a spreadsheet, and that way we could have a gradient of pinks, oranges, reds, etc., or a mixture thereof.

That sounds fun! Of course each of us would have to do the puzzle to be able to find our piece (except whoever had the middle) and I have never done a solid color puzzle. But dibs on some shade of purple
I did the silver Krypt a couple of weeks ago. It took about 40 hours of puzzling time, which of course sounds crazy, but I am not a puzzler! So I'm very proud to have finished it at all. Especially considering I didn't use any kind of guide. I specifically chose to not even LOOK at the pattern.
Also I had NO room to spread out many of the pieces, as I live in a tiny unit and don't own a table 😂
Edit: OMG yes, I had a few false fits in the silver. Very annoying. Some fit *perfectly* where they shouldn't have.
New video idea: meal prepping many non-sticky snacks for your next too challenging puzzles 😂 though I can totally relate to the ultra focus state...

I gasped when you did the piece swaps between the pink and gradient puzzles! Wow! Sooo pretty and such a cool Timelapse ✨
There is in fact a fourth krypt cut now! It's 881 pieces, and so far exists only as a glow in the dark starry sky print, called "Universe Glow".
Also there is a version of "silver" (654 pieces), called "Color Spiral" or "Colorful Spiral".
It's a shame to hear the custom colour krypts are only "gold", it's my least favourite cut. (the gradient version is an exception ofc)
Silver feels like the easiest to me, and i enjoy black the most.

I'm not really a puzzler but the Krypt puzzles look fun and their cut is just so different. And I agree that it is a puzzle that would look great in a frame hanging on the wall.
Only thing I dislike is that you can't type in the hex codes to get the colour you want. The colour selector Ravensburger uses right now is just too imprecise for me to get the perfect colour that matches my walls...
And if you can use hex codes it's easier to share colours like the PINK you used in the video.

ive not done puzzles since i was a little kid and bc of this channel i finished my first 500 piece puzzle the other day. i have a couple other 500 piece puzzles but then i wanna move up to 1000 piece puzzles!

It's been fun to see your journey from hating solid colour puzzles to being a solid colour puzzle connoisseur. I'm curious how you think the krypt series stacks up in difficulty compared to other solid colour puzzles you've done.
My childhood room is painted in lime highlighter green. This is perfect.
The blue/teal versions of this look terrifying because the front is almost the same color as the back 😅 I suppose there is a perfect-match hex value that would make this puzzle MUCH more difficult than it already is.
The flipping might take a little longer, but the textures are different enough that you'd still be fine.
If you got every single color, you could make your own gradient puzzle. You could make a few 😂

You should totally frame and hang those combined puzzles! It would make a little space on your shelves, you'd get to enjoy looking at them while doing other puzzles, and it would just make your studio look colorful and amazing.

That 🌸pink🌸 colour is so soothing and pretty! Doing the classic black Krypt is a bucket list puzzle for me, but I'm so tempted to get a soft, dusty seafoam custom now...
The last part must have been so tedious and taken a long time to film - not only you have to dig through each puzzle piece, but reattach it, then edit the footage, really appreciate the effort. Turns out beautifully.

I bought the gradient puzzle today and had so much fun!
As a beginner it took me nearly seven hours.
It was kind of easy going till I reached the yellow/green section - might have a bad colorvision on those... this section was so hard, took me like half of the time.

30:51 What a great Idea to mix those two puzzles :) But it seems that if you changed a few pieces at the rectangular lines on the right the puzzle would look a lot more symmetrical. It kinda bothers me now 😅
Oooh, I’ve tried the silver Krypt and gave up pretty quickly, but there’s a lot of appeal in a custom pink one!
I have the rainbow krypt on my wish list. Now I may need a soft yellow one too. The PINK is lovely too, though.
The two most difficult puzzles I tried:
A holographic puzzle which completely defeated me. Only got about half way through. It did my head in because the image switched depending on which way you held the piece.
A frameless one of goldfish.
I love this puzzle cut so much 💖 you could, if you wanted to, separate the puzzle into the 3 rectangles it consists of and then glue those elements together seperately. So basically you end up with two empty rectangles and one solid one. You could use the two empty ones as frames for drawings. I think I might get one of the krypt puzzles and do exactly that, I'm immediately getting a flash of inspiration
I would love to get gradient krypto puzzle with colors from orange to wine red. I have the Ravensburger gradient and I loved it and saved it for new use. Many gradients have similar colors that I don’t like so much and I would love to get nice shades there :) Hopefully you could do one Karen! Thank you for your nice content. I did the silver one a couple of years ago without the guide. Took me 20+ hours. Thought I'd lose my mind. Lol. Ravensburger is my favorite puzzle company by far though. I collect them as well as the Worlds Smallest Jigsaw by MasterPieces

Oooooh, this is neat. I'm a pink aficionado, so I considered getting the hot pink krypt puzzle a while back, but didn't really like the cut used. The custom ones use a different cut, so I can choose myself, which is neat! Has anyone tried both cuts and can recommend one as more fun?
Also, the mix of pink and gradient puzzle at the end are SO beautiful and would be AMAZING wall art, totally understand the inclination.

I did buy the PINK Krypt puzzle, but have yet to solve it. And now I find out, if I had waited, I could have gotten it in my favourite colour, purple! 🤪😁😍
I own the gold one, on the print 27:54 the big piece on the upper right is wrong, it’s actually just 2 double pieces.
I can't imagine doing that pink puzzle! It looks so challenging. Have you ever tried a eurographics puzzle? They are very common in Canada, and they have a really interesting cut! It's mostly ribbon cut, but the pieces don't perfectly align like most ribbon puzzles, so they have a handful of random cut pieces to make everything fit!

I puzzle in a room with poor winter lighting. Doing solid color puzzles is the only chance I have to puzzle at all. I did the Krypt Black and loved it. I will absolutely do another Krypt!
The gradient krypt puzzle was one of my favorite puzzles to put together. I worked on it from the inner circle out and it was so satisfying. I have also done the silver krypt puzzle, and shamelessly heavily relied on the key. I will probably not do another krypt puzzle, pink or otherwise, unless there is something special about it.

I own and have completed the Krypt puzzles in Black, Gold, and Silver; which turned out to be much easier than I expected. Although, I also have the Pink one; I have not yet opened it because: They are not as challenging as I had hoped. This is also why I never purchased the gradient one. Eventually, I will open that box and complete the Pink one…

I'm not someone who's really into mono-colored puzzles, *pink* or otherwise. But I have to say, I loved the effect when you mixed the mono-colored puzzle with the gradient puzzle. That was really cool and striking. I'd definitely hang those up if I were you!
Having the mixed gradient and pink (where you had the two puzzles alternated) side by side or on opposite sides of the room would be really neat.

Just received the new Krypt Universe Glow. Beside the glow in the dark effect it's single color. Cut is unique with 881 pieces.

It’s about time lol. My favorite color is that of Aureolin (PY40 or cobalt yellow). It’s a specific yellow that was the original primary yellow. Anyways, the other solid yellow puzzles aren’t the right hue.

So far I've only done the silver and gradient Krypt puzzles. I didn't need the pattern for either, especially the gradient which was fairly easy. Would love to get a custom colored one if I can decide on a color. I don't think it would be pink though.
Oh man, can you imagine a custom solid puzzle made to match the color of the Ravensburger cardboard? Diabolical. I'm sure you'd be able to flip the pieces the right way up by texture/finish, but it'd still add an additional intimidation factor.
Love that Pink Krypt puzzle! Finally got your puzzle on Amazon. Yeah! I might try a Krypt puzzle eventually, but I'm working on the Sun puzzle by Blue Kazoo. Watching you was the impetus to GET those puzzles. Earth, Moon and the Color wheel took me less time! I discovered patterns in the cut, but it's not helping me much. I can hardly wait to do your puzzle. But I intend to do the two puzzles I got for Christmas first, THEN yours. It'll be a while. 😁

I am here taking a break from my own new krypt - it is black with some stars and instead of one central point has several round spiral sections. I would love to see someone on puzzle RUclips tackle that, but for now it's only me by myself.

I bought the gradient Krypt puzzle. It was fun and not too challenging. My biggest complaint is that once complete, it does not lie flat. Looks very bumpy.

Back in the 70s/80s there was a red "7-up dot" puzzle. Yep, a solid red circle. I would love for you to find that puzzle and put it together

I am fairly certain that they were being sold at Christmas time at a store called "Shopko"....and as a re-release 1993-ish seems likely. I wish I had one for you because I think you would appreciate it. I'll keep looking too
