@CakedCrusader9. Love your username. 😸 And I also agree. As a Pokemon fan, I don't understand people who can get SO upset over someone not knowing the proper names to Pokemon (as an example) when I love Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh but for the life of me can't remember their names since it's been close to 20 years since I was collecting those cards. It makes me feel like the company just lost imagination. 😿 But kudo's to Karen for finishing this monster of a puzzle. 😸💞
My favorite Gen I Pokémon, at this point, is easily Psyduck. Just so relatable. "KIRBY!" had me dying. Anyone else reflexively saying "water type" and "psychic type" and so on whenever Karen referred to a section by the background color?
Day one: "I don't know any of these little guys!" Day two: "Look at Origami-friend and Totoro! This puzzle is so entertaining I burnt my lunch!" Day three: *blank stare of puzzle fever* "....I rose at the crack of dawn...... TO PUZZLE ON! Move out of my way Kirby!"
I am 81 and remember my grandsons loving Pokemons. I love your enthusiasm and talent for doing puzzles. I am a frustrated puzzle solver so I do smaller ones, which is OK for my old brain to cope with 🤗 Cheers from Aus. 🇦🇺
a very lovely detail in this puzzle that someone not into pokemon may have missed is that they're not just divided by color, but rather by type. each pokemon have a type attached to them, and those types are water, fire, grass, electric, psychic, normal, and ground. there's actually more types, like dragon, metal, and dark, but those aren't included in this puzzle. a pokemon's type means it can do different things--notice that the psychic pokemon have one holding a hypnosis charm, and others holding spoons (to bend with his mind, see). the bulbasaur you were looking for is a grass type, so he's actually in the bottom left--he's got a bulb on his back, since he's kind of a plant. each pokemon evolve into bigger versions of themselves, so when you got tripped up on which was bulbasaur, you were close! they're all the same creature evolved into bigger types. the starter ones everyone's usually talking about that are featured on this box are bulbasaur (the tiny little plant turtle), ivysaur (the turtle with a pink flower that hasn't yet bloomed), and venusaur (the big turtle with a flower). then there's the fire types, charmander (the orange lizard with fire on his tail), charmeleon (the red lizard with fire on his tail), and charizard (the big dragon with blue wings and.. you guessed it, fire on his tail). and finally, the water ones, squirtle (the blue turtle with a curled tail), wartortle (the blue turtle with wings on his head), and blastoise (the big turtle with giant cannons coming out of his shell). starters are the pokemon you can pick from to begin your journey in the first video game. squirtle is my favorite of the three starters, but my all time favorite pokemon is psyduck! he's the little duck in the water section holding his head :) sorry this is a lot of information! i just really like pokemon and only recently got into it a couple years ago, so from someone who also had to learn this all from scratch to another, don't worry about it too hard! they sure are just funny little animals. great job with the puzzle! and i bet your favorite is kirby ;)
"metal" type XD It would have been cool to see all 151 there, but that would have made the puzzle even bigger than it already was or the individual pokemon smaller. It would have been cool to see more differentiated types. Like Poison, a big one that wasn't here, I'd say - with all of the ghosts, the single type poison mons and the Zubat line.
@@maryl.5984 listen, there was a lot of basics to cover and i couldn’t think of the word XD steel IS a metal after all, eh? plus, i play TCG, not the games. i agree! but i do like the puzzle.
I started playing Pokémon Go last year as motivation to do more exercise, because I have fibromyalgia & rheumatoid arthritis. I knew nothing about Pokémon, & am surprised at how much I've absorbed without really trying, although I do have occasional bursts of googling all kinds of very basic questions. This is a great jigsaw puzzle!
After looking up the cost of this I just want to say thanks again for making your puzzles affordable! Your 3000 piece puzzle was the first quality puzzle I ever bought and I thought it was expensive at the time! But having seen that this one is twice as much… just thank you!
The absolute confidence with which Karen declared her revelation of Jigglypuff being Kirby was the best part of the video by far. Obviously people who don't care aren't going to memorize 500+ silly fictional creatures, but also people who don't know Pokemon at all trying to name Pokemon is always going to be peak comedy. Also, "Sealena" could totally be a canonical pokemon name, fyi.
People not knowing any Pokémon besides Pikachu and giving them made up or wrong names will never not be funny! There's already 1025 Pokémon as of right now. All their names and info live in my brain.
@@LauravanBarneveld63 I only know the Pokemon up to Sun and Moon, even then I forget a few from eariler gens lmao. Gen 1 and 2, I can name the most as I played Pokemon Red and Sliver a lot as a kid.
The time it took you to just sort the pieces hit me like a ton of bricks, you poor soul 😢 In all seriousness though, I absolutely love your energy! You just give off such wholesome “enthusiastic mom/aunt trying to get into Pokémon to surprise her kids” vibes and I am living for it! P.S. when you were trying to figure out which one was Bulbasaur (it’s the little teal frog guy with the big bud on its back) I swear I felt a piece of me die inside
You calling Jigglypuff 'Kirby' with full confidence made my heart swell with fondness. I love people who aren't as deep into the fandom trying to put names to characters and my mom is the opposite. She only knows Jigglypuff and will call Kirby 'Jigglypuff' with just as much confidence.
Not me instantly knowing that she would call Mr Mime the clown. Also her second guessing herself and calling Jigglypuff Kerby wirh so much confidence was too precious.
I think it's fine you don't know the Pokemon but the Kirby part had me HOWLIN'. And the Totoro/Snorlax comparison was cute. I've never done a puzzle bigger than 1000 but you made this one seem so straightforward and chill that maybe I should do a 5k one at some point lol
I would love to have this puzzle! I'm an enthusiastic Pokémon Go player, & my favourite changes, but obviously it's not Kirby! I do think Jigglypuff is super-cute, though, & now she has equally adorable older & younger sisters named Wigglytuff & Igglybuff! 🌸
It’s so interesting to see how you approach this as a non-Pokemon fan! I find them really easy in comparison to others because I usually sort them by the pokemon themselves while you approach from the background. Very neat!
omg, something about your post genuinely touches my heart :) please tell me why you love electrode ^_^ i would really love to know. then i'll love him more too! ^^"
He goes so fast, and then he goes boom. He’s shaped/colored like a basic pokeball which is sneaky cool. However, I found a shiny Electrode on SoulSilver that isn’t fooling anyone, so I threw my Master Ball and gave him a forever home.
I loved this video! Not only does it combine two of my favorite things the enthusiasm you had for it despite not knowing anything about Pokémon was so nice to see! I'm so glad you really enjoyed this puzzle to the point you want to do it again! Also my favorite is Snorlax, the "Totoro" looking Pokémon!!
I actually got this puzzle for Christmas. I was SO excited to receive it. I've never done a puzzle this big, however I know pokemon inside and out. I've already completed the ravensburger pokemon challenger 1000 piece puzzle, so I'm really excited to do this one. Pokemon was my childhood and now I get to share it with my children who all love it too.
I'm also a Pokémon fan and I've done this puzzle. :) I was in the same situation as you in that I had done the 1000 challenge one, but had never ventured into bigger puzzles before. It was really fun and not that difficult for me. It really helps when you can look at a piece and say "this is Charizard's color and not Charmander colored" instead of "this whole section is just the same 2 colors" :D I wish you lots of fun with the puzzle, random internet stranger
Karen your videos are amazing. You are giving us everything - timelapse, satisfying snaps into place, filling in with multiple peces at once, different camera angles, humor, data analysis. I follow your channel for a longer time now and I think i watched each and every one of your videos. FYI, I`m not at least bothered about you video schedule (or the lack of the same), I look forward to your videos whenever they come out, no matter the puzzle or the topic. P.S. My favourite pokemon is Rapidash (fire horse).
I'm back with a new giant puzzle video! I know that when I posted about this, a lot of you said you had also done it. Did you like it as much as I did? How did it go for you?
I'm currently doing this puzzle for the second time. My husband loves Pokémon and helping me with a puzzle so last year I got him this puzzle to do together. Apparently it's becoming a yearly tradition. Its such a fun puzzle and the size gives it just the right amount of challenge.
Sitting down on the sofa and declaring that you are too comfy to get up and continue for the rest of the day, only to get back to it within 30 min because you got bored is such a mood.
seeing you enjoy this puzzle despite not knowing anything about the pokemon, was so wholesome and joyful. I first saw you in the try guys video where you raced them. and I've been watching you ever since. thank you for sharing your hobby with us, I love your content.
Karen: It can't be Jigglypuff Also Karen: "I had a brain storm last night, I think I remember what this pink pokemon is called, im pretty sure this is Kirby" 😂😂🤦🤦🤦
I hope that you design a few 5000 piece puzzles. You understand exactly what makes a great puzzle. (And I love how the price of this puzzle has gone up from $91 to $105, and almost sold out after your video. You may have to be start giving the puzzle makers advanced notice before releasing a video)
This is the first puzzle I did when I discovered your channel and you made me wanna try a bigger challenge. So this is kind of a full circle moment for me. Thank you so much for being an inspiration!
So amazing that you can puzzle for hours and hours straight! My back and neck start hurting so bad after an hour or so and I feel like the hunchback of Notre Dame 😅 Love watching you puzzle!
Jigglypuff and Kirby do look like they could be related, at least. The “mushroom head” is a crab-like creature called Paras and I love him. The potatoes are actually thick worm-like Pokemon that dig really fast, a single one is Diglett and the evolution that looks like three Diglett stuck together is Dugtrio.
I am a long-time pokemon fan and recently got into puzzling. I never clicked on one of your videos this fast (so far)!!! And yes, those were the first 151 pokemon (Gen 1), and there are already more than a thousand now. A puzzle with all of them would be so much fun. 😍
I raised a Pokemon obsessed kid in the 90s, I could name them ALL... just not with the names Nintendo thinks they have. I'd be almost as accurate as Karen was.
@@KarenPuzzles I was also not in the Pokémon era but luckily (or perhaps unluckily 😅) I had a brother who was 8 years younger and obsessed with Pokémon, so I can name most of the OG ones. My favourite is Evee - kind of reminds me of a cross between a cat and fox 😂
What a beautiful puzzle. Such a charming set of poses you did on the table after. My favorite pokemon is jigglypuff because her songs knock people out lol
What a treat to get a giant puzzle so early in the year!! I hope this means you'll do more than 1 5000+ piece puzzle this year, the giant ones are my favorite by far!!
Karen isn't the most knowledgeable pokemon fan, but I think if u knew the pokemon and the fact that the puzzle is divided by pokemon type, it would have made the sorting much faster. It just goes to show that knowledge of the contents of the puzzle can make a huge difference in the speed of which one can sort and finish a puzzle. Really interesting video! Awesome vid Karen :)
My kiddo loved this video, and says to share that their favorite Pokemon is in this puzzle, front and center -- the little brown fox Eevee! We also love Nintendo in general, including Mario and Kirby (and Zelda!) in addition to pokemon! We're glad you got a great gradient experience out of it, and we loved your naming and describing the Pokemon with fresh eyes and perspective!!
Just discovered you on RUclips. I love your enthusiasm. I am retired and have lots of time to do the things I love to do. I really enjoy doing Charles Wysocki puzzles. Also I just ordered a couple of Ravenburger puzzles and 6 puzzles from Buffalo Puzzles. I’ve got 8 puzzles from White Mountain that I need to put together also. I really enjoy watching your videos, Karen, so keep puzzling please. Thanks for being you! Faith from Kansas 😊
I don't know, or care, anything about Pokémon, but this was a fun watch. I am really impressed by your filming/editing work as well -- I haven't done a jigsaw puzzle in decades, and yet I find that I enjoy your videos. Thank you!
Petition for Karen to start a second channel, Karen Games, and she plays Pokemon Fire Red and learns all the pokemon from this puzzle! She could even have a dewgong called Seal-ena! The Kirby/Jigglypuff thing was so cute. You sounded so proud of yourself when you declared Kirby.
To be fair, Kirby and Jigglypuff could be twinsies! Loved that you were so confident once your brain landed on Kirby the next day. Karen sticks to her guns! ❤
This is definitely my favourite video of yours. Listening to you name the Pokemon give me so much joy! Oragami friend, Totoro, Kirby, Yarn Monster, Mushroom Head, Pokomon Potatoes, Pokemon Clown, Seal-ena! Love it!
There's something extremely endearing hearing you trying to work out which of the Squirtle line is actually a Bulbasaur (in disguise perhaps?) and I thoroughly enjoyed your descriptions of and comments on the mons' designs. Also, thank you for getting me into puzzling! Up until last year I had one 500 piece jigsaw I hadn't touched since I was a kid and now between Christmas and my birthday own three 1,000 pieces (two done so far) and one 1,500. As a big Pokémon fan not going to lie, this is tempting... but I don't have much surface space and think I should stick to the smaller puzzles for a while first. Kirby (heehee) def isn't my favourite, but I'm sure you haven't heard of the ones in my top five as they're from newer generations than these OGs XD
Having never attempted more than a single 1500 piece puzzle, your 3000 piece was a great Christmas challenge. I went through basically the same process and emotional rollercoaster 😂
as a self proclaimed pokemon expert, it was very bittersweet watching this. loved seeing it put together, funny watching you struggle with the names, frustrating at all the wrong guesses, what a rollercoaster. would love to see you tackle another pokemon puzzle in the future. my favorite pokemon is Garchomp :)
the paras is, for English, a pun name that is a shortened version of parasite. Funny, but also very sad for this poor Pokemon. One of my favorite Pokemon.
As someone who grew up watching Pokemon, I thought your descriptions were hilarious. Especially when you call Dugtrio potatoes and Jigglypuff Kirby. My favorite first-gen Pokemon is Vulpix, but my favorite overall is Leafeon.
Hi Karen, new subscriber here! I happened to have your world championship videos suggested to me by you-tube and my evening took a left hand turn as I watched you and your friends competing in something that I never even knew existed! Your enthusiasm and skill is fun to watch and following you assemble this puzzle was a pleasure. I used to do a lot of puzzles back when I was a teenager (50 years ago!) but they had nothing like this back in those days. Great job!
This was great! I just did a 400 piece and then a 1000 piece Pokémon puzzle with my boys. I really enjoyed it because like you said it was like doing lots of mini puzzles because the different characters could mostly be sorted and had that background pattern. I loved that you didn’t know anything about Pokémon. Your commentary was hilarious and I loved this whole thing! Happy new year! Happy puzzling! You are inspiring
I grew up watching the anime/playing the games Karen, I can tell you a lot about the Pokemon themselves. The ones in this puzzle are the first generation of Pokemon from Kanto (which is the region in the first anime/games). The dragon is indeed Charizard (although in the games he's a Fire/Flying type), the pink ball you thought was a Mario Kart character is Jigglypuff and she's in the Nintendo Smash games. The blue turtle Pokemon are Squirtle (smaller form), Wartorle (second form) and Blastoise (big turtle with the cannons on it's back) Bulbasaur is the small toad looking Pokemon with the bulb on its back. Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur are known as the 1st generation starter Pokemon that you start out with in Pokemon Red, Blue and Green. The seal is named Dewgong lol, the orgima monster is Porygon and the tangled guy is Tangela. Eyebrow guy is Electrode. One you also thought looked like Totoro is Snorlax.
I only know the first 2 generation of Pokemon as I grew up with them the most. 3rd generation I played a little bit of the games. I can't name every Pokemon as there is a ton.
@@pemanilnoob Actually it doesn't matter how you say the starters in order. I was more or less explaining who the starters are, not caring about the order they go in by game or anime.
I swear, half the fun of this video was the fact that you don't know Pokemon, it was SO charming and refreshing seeing you just make up names or concepts for what they are. (Dugtrio being potatoes? I love this so much) My favourite Pokemon is Galarian Zigzagoon, and my favourite shiny is shiny Seviper 😌
I just took a 5-hour graduate school comprehensive exam today, so I was so excited that I would get to watch this afterwards as my reward! This was exactly what I was hoping for when you did this puzzle. 😂 I have adored Pokemon for over 20 years now, and it was so refreshing to see your reactions to all the Pokemon in the puzzle, unaffected by any prior conceptions. Calling Dugtrio potatoes made me laugh so hard (they're, like, moles lol). Maybe you can find a *Kirby* puzzle to do at some point, I bet there are some really cute ones out there!! My favorite pokemon is Lapras (like my username). They're in the first generation of Pokemon, but there isn't one on this puzzle. A Lapras is like a Nessie, with a turtle shell. They're super kind, can understand human speech, and will ferry people on their backs over the water. They were hunted almost to extinction, but as of a few games ago, they are now thriving thanks to preservation efforts!
Kirby! LOL. My fav is dragonair. I have a tattoo of him, but him and his evolutions are not on the puzzle so they are missing about 1/2 of the originals. Great puzzle though!
Oooh I also recently finished this puzzle! I got it for my birthday last year. I'm a huge Pokemon fan and love puzzles so it was a no-brainer. I also loved it, I think it's a great introduction to large puzzles! My favorite is Scyther, who sadly wasn't in the puzzle. And the comparison of Kirby to Jigglypuff was pretty amusing, they are pretty similar at least :)
the one thing i love more than watching karen puzzle, is watching karen name pokemon incorrectly. it made me so happy. "yarn monster" was so good, hahahaha.
I don't know if I have a favorite Pokemon, but Lapras has been growing on me lately. (Lapras is another of the first generation, but doesn't appear on this puzzle.) I do have to say, however, that after misidentifying Bulbasaur in the beginning, it was quite amusing that the final piece that you couldn't place ended up going in Bulbasaur's final evolution. Gotta love those little ironies. Oh, and obligatory "I wasn't going to say that Kirby isn't a pokemon, but apparently I have use the word Kirby in my comment anyway".
Don't know if you'll see this, but I was having a really tough day and found myself crying over all the stress I've had to deal with today. I wasn't finding myself feeling any better watching my usual daily Pokemon content, but then I stumbled upon this video. I found it really calming and felt better watching you put this lovely puzzle together ❤ It reminded me how much I miss doing big puzzles and hope I get to do one again in the near future. Thank you, and I look forward to watching more of your videos 😊
This is my first time watching your puzzling channel and it's so good!! I didn't know you could put puzzles back like that! Amazing :) Thanks for making fun things :D
That confident "Kirby!" Was precious! I think my favorite out of the Gen 1 pokemon is Def bulbasaur he's #1 for a reason! Too cute! I am gonna have to get this puzzle!!!
1:21 You got Charizard right! 1:33 The three round blue ones all look similar because they belong to the same ‘evolution line’ which means that you start with one Pokémon and it evolves into the next after some time and training to a certain level in life. The top round blue one is Squirtle, the bottom right one is Wartortle and the bottom left one is Blastoise. When you look at them in order of Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, you might notice what we mean by a Pokémon ‘evolving’. 17:34 The yarn monster one is Tangela. 17:38 The seal one is literally just Seal. Pokémon likes to do that. 17:53 The origami monster one is Porygon. 18:28 The serious eyebrow one is Electrode. 19:05 The Totoro looking one is Snorlax. 19:19 The one you’re working on here is Bulbasaur! 23:39 In order of to who you pointed at these are Drowzee, hypno, Sandslash, Victreebel, Venusaur (I believe, I couldn’t really see who you pointed at clearly), and Pidgeot. 26:59 The big one is Onyx. And the one next to it is Rhydon. 36:04 The mushroom head one is Paras. 36:10 The potatoes one is Dugtrio. 36:16 Your least favourite is Mr. Mime.
Hey Karen, I just wanna thank you as I very randomly had your channel in my feed and your entusiasm for puzzles made me buy some. Well 10 hours later I have my first 1000 piece done and I had so much fun doing so! 🎉❤
I'm so excited! 😆 I was waiting ALL DAY!! Editing to add that you're not alone. I know nothing about Pokémon as well, but the puzzle looks beautiful. Also, KIRBYY
Pikachu and Jolteon (the spiky yellow fox on the yellow section's edge) are my favourite Pokemon! Eevee (the brown little fox near Jigglypuff) is the baby version of Jolteon and has a lot of other Pokemon he can grow up into that I also like a lot. Also it is really heartwarming to me, as someone very passionate about Pokemon, to see someone who is very passionate about puzzles appreciate a big Pokemon puzzle. (Also something about you calling Snorlax Totoro made me smile a lot.)
My favorite Pokemon is the lil guy you completed at 31:22- its name is Psyduck, infamous for perpetually suffering from a headache that caused by psychic powers, despite it not being psychic-type. It's become prominent in recent years, being included in a lot of stuff like Detective Pikachu and Pokemon Concierge and was available in at least one game per generation since the very beginning. Probably helps that it's also the favorite of Junichi Masuda who worked on a lot of the games as a composer and director.
Clicked for Pokemon, stayed for "Kirby" As a Pokemon fan, that was genuinely really entertaining and funny! Also, my favorite pokemon is Zubat, but since they're not on the puzzle, I'm gonna go with Psyduck (that's the yellow duck holding his head)
The amount of puzzle dust was amazing. I couldn't get myself to do a puzzle that big right now. My little 120 piece puzzles take me long enough as it is. I sure do like how it was kinda broken down to some color regions. ENjoyed

a very lovely detail in this puzzle that someone not into pokemon may have missed is that they're not just divided by color, but rather by type. each pokemon have a type attached to them, and those types are water, fire, grass, electric, psychic, normal, and ground. there's actually more types, like dragon, metal, and dark, but those aren't included in this puzzle. a pokemon's type means it can do different things--notice that the psychic pokemon have one holding a hypnosis charm, and others holding spoons (to bend with his mind, see). the bulbasaur you were looking for is a grass type, so he's actually in the bottom left--he's got a bulb on his back, since he's kind of a plant. each pokemon evolve into bigger versions of themselves, so when you got tripped up on which was bulbasaur, you were close! they're all the same creature evolved into bigger types. the starter ones everyone's usually talking about that are featured on this box are bulbasaur (the tiny little plant turtle), ivysaur (the turtle with a pink flower that hasn't yet bloomed), and venusaur (the big turtle with a flower). then there's the fire types, charmander (the orange lizard with fire on his tail), charmeleon (the red lizard with fire on his tail), and charizard (the big dragon with blue wings and.. you guessed it, fire on his tail). and finally, the water ones, squirtle (the blue turtle with a curled tail), wartortle (the blue turtle with wings on his head), and blastoise (the big turtle with giant cannons coming out of his shell). starters are the pokemon you can pick from to begin your journey in the first video game. squirtle is my favorite of the three starters, but my all time favorite pokemon is psyduck! he's the little duck in the water section holding his head :)
sorry this is a lot of information! i just really like pokemon and only recently got into it a couple years ago, so from someone who also had to learn this all from scratch to another, don't worry about it too hard! they sure are just funny little animals. great job with the puzzle! and i bet your favorite is kirby ;)
Yup, I was instantly attuned to 'oh those are the types and Psychic is the most differentiated. Neat.
"metal" type XD
It would have been cool to see all 151 there, but that would have made the puzzle even bigger than it already was or the individual pokemon smaller.
This puzzle actually features only the original TCG types in addition to only having Generation 1 / Original 151 Pokemon.
After looking up the cost of this I just want to say thanks again for making your puzzles affordable! Your 3000 piece puzzle was the first quality puzzle I ever bought and I thought it was expensive at the time! But having seen that this one is twice as much… just thank you!
Granted, pokemon stuff in general is a bit more expensive...
Gen 1 and 2, I can name the most as I played Pokemon Red and Sliver a lot as a kid.
its so funny that her first instinct was correct and then she went on to have a wrong revelation 😂
I wouldn’t say it’s a memorization thing. Just after consuming the media for years, some things just become second nature
Sealena can definitely fit.
I mean, SEEL the seal is a real pokémon, we got Sealeo (so close to Sealena) and other stuff like that.
Snorlax is my absolute favorite!!! He’s so silly and I literally kept an army of him in my pokémon go because he was so cute ❤
I would watch a 3 hour video of karen trying to name each of the.pokemon
Each of the 151 Gen 1
Yes please!!! Like the moms naming all smash characters
@@marcusfridh8489ALL OF THEM
Omg yes!
‘Yarn monster’ ‘origami monster’ 🤌🤌
Not me instantly knowing that she would call Mr Mime the clown. Also her second guessing herself and calling Jigglypuff Kerby wirh so much confidence was too precious.
I think it's fine you don't know the Pokemon but the Kirby part had me HOWLIN'. And the Totoro/Snorlax comparison was cute. I've never done a puzzle bigger than 1000 but you made this one seem so straightforward and chill that maybe I should do a 5k one at some point lol
This is definitely a great intro image into giant puzzles, especially if you don't want to do the gradient one 😊
There is a 1000 version of this exact image! I have it myself and it's some much fun to assemble!
I had the same thought. Not that this puzzle is easy, but she showed how to make it straight forward.
Very neat!
My favourite Pokémon is Electrode (the big round one with the brows in the upper right corner). No one else appreciates him the way I do. 😔
omg, something about your post genuinely touches my heart :) please tell me why you love electrode ^_^ i would really love to know. then i'll love him more too! ^^"
He go roll roll roll boom. He good pokemon.
All pokemon deserve to be be loved❤😂
I don't mind electrode but I do prefer my fire types so he goes melt\scorched easily.
Admit it, you just wanted to trigger us Pokémon nerds with that intro 😂
I think that not knowing the pokemon made this even more entertaining in a good way! i LOLed so hard when she said kirby with such confidence
I got this puzzle for Christmas too! I'm so excited to do it at some point. ^.^
@@muessigkeit8136 that's what I was thinking too. I'll be able to look at a piece and just know who it belongs to.
This was a great video
straight up jelly! I reallly want to do this one!
If I did a giant puzzle, I'd pick this one! It's so lovely and vibrant and I loved Pokemon as a kid. Congrats on finishing it.
I'm currently doing this puzzle for the second time. My husband loves Pokémon and helping me with a puzzle so last year I got him this puzzle to do together. Apparently it's becoming a yearly tradition. Its such a fun puzzle and the size gives it just the right amount of challenge.
I lost it at "Are they all Bulbasaur?" 😂😂 never change, Karen! You are awesome!!
To be fair, jigglypuff sounds like a Mario kart character.
Also looks like Kirby
If you ever played super smash bros (fighting game with mario and other characters), both Jigglypuff and Kirby are characters!
But there is no such thing as a Mario kart character, they all come from other Nintendo properties
It's something I really love about Pokemon, every Pokemon is someone's favourite.
Your guesses are hilarious too XD
Sitting down on the sofa and declaring that you are too comfy to get up and continue for the rest of the day, only to get back to it within 30 min because you got bored is such a mood.
seeing you enjoy this puzzle despite not knowing anything about the pokemon, was so wholesome and joyful. I first saw you in the try guys video where you raced them. and I've been watching you ever since. thank you for sharing your hobby with us, I love your content.
Karen: It can't be Jigglypuff
Also Karen: "I had a brain storm last night, I think I remember what this pink pokemon is called, im pretty sure this is Kirby"
😂😂🤦🤦🤦
I hope that you design a few 5000 piece puzzles. You understand exactly what makes a great puzzle. (And I love how the price of this puzzle has gone up from $91 to $105, and almost sold out after your video. You may have to be start giving the puzzle makers advanced notice before releasing a video)
This is the first puzzle I did when I discovered your channel and you made me wanna try a bigger challenge. So this is kind of a full circle moment for me. Thank you so much for being an inspiration!
Right? Not sure I've done more than 500 or 1000. I can't imagine finding anyone to do a 5000 with but clearly we exist!!
I really thought all 90s kids could name the og 151 pokemon. Kirby, Totoro, and Sealina 🤣
Pokemon didn't start getting popular here until I was almost out of middle school and I had other interests by then 🤷🏻♀️
I raised a Pokemon obsessed kid in the 90s, I could name them ALL... just not with the names Nintendo thinks they have. I'd be almost as accurate as Karen was.
@@KarenPuzzles 💜I had zero friends and watched too much tv, I was not trying to flex any knowledge of pokemon lore.
@@KarenPuzzles you are not normal!! While everyone else was playing Pokémon on their gameboys you were doing jigsaw puzzles... xD
Jigglypuff might as well be Kirby! They're both round, pink, and adorable. 😊
17:16 this is Kirby!
I am so sorry! I laugh so hard! 😂
My favorite Pokemon is Eevee, the little brown fox jumping over Totoro's head near the middle.
Kirby 😂😂 The confidence was sky high. My favorite is Umbreon! Of the ones on your puzzle though I love Squirtle!
To be fair, Kirby and Jigglypuff could be twinsies! Loved that you were so confident once your brain landed on Kirby the next day. Karen sticks to her guns! ❤
LOL! 😂
Seeing all the puzzle pieces in the shape of pikachu at the start of the video is really satisfying, thank you for that!
This is definitely my favourite video of yours.
Listening to you name the Pokemon give me so much joy!
Oragami friend, Totoro, Kirby, Yarn Monster, Mushroom Head, Pokomon Potatoes, Pokemon Clown, Seal-ena!
Love it!
I loved the time overview of the puzzles you’ve done. My first and only (so far) 9000 piece puzzle took me a whole year 😂
There's something extremely endearing hearing you trying to work out which of the Squirtle line is actually a Bulbasaur (in disguise perhaps?) and I thoroughly enjoyed your descriptions of and comments on the mons' designs.
I’m pretty sure there’s a 1000 piece Ravensburger Pokémon puzzle. Maybe that’s just the right one for you? Regardless of the image - happy puzzling!
Looks like a fun Kirby puzzle!
lol really loved her impressions of the Pokemon (yarn monster, Totoro looking one, potatoes...)!
Perfect! Working on Karen's 3000 piece puzzle while watching a new video. And it's snowing.😁
So cozy ☺️
KIRBY: I missed you so much Karen! You bring me so much joy and I look forward to your videos!
Hi.Karen I just love your doing puzzles and the enthusiasm you have! I know you will catch them all!
Having a lot of fun watching you confidently call Pokemon by the incorrect names 🤣
Fun fact: The mushroom guy is Paras, and "Paras" means "Best" in Finnish! My fave is Poliwag, the blue round tadpole-looking guy with the spiral.
Haha. I just commented about this to other person. 😁
Poliwag's evolution, Poliwhirl, is Satoshi Tajiri favourite pkmn!
Satoshi Tajiri is the original creator of pkmn btw.
PoliSwag
the paras is, for English, a pun name that is a shortened version of parasite. Funny, but also very sad for this poor Pokemon. One of my favorite Pokemon.
Anyone else kinda wanna see Karen try a blind play through of Poke'mon?
I love your discreet pikachu head at the start of the video when all the pieces are in one big pile! ❤️
Ok I have heard of Charmander and Squirtle. Every other name you said is brand new to me 😂
I only know the first 2 generation of Pokemon as I grew up with them the most. 3rd generation I played a little bit of the games. I can't name every Pokemon as there is a ton.
I an name the 151 first edition Pokémon, but do not ask me for any other gen :D @@crimsongamer2337
Nono, it’s actually bulbasaur then squirtle then charmander
@@pemanilnoob Actually it doesn't matter how you say the starters in order. I was more or less explaining who the starters are, not caring about the order they go in by game or anime.
I swear, half the fun of this video was the fact that you don't know Pokemon, it was SO charming and refreshing seeing you just make up names or concepts for what they are. (Dugtrio being potatoes? I love this so much)
My favourite Pokemon is Galarian Zigzagoon, and my favourite shiny is shiny Seviper 😌
Good luck with your comps - they can be pretty hellish, but it’s a really good feeling to put them behind you!
@feuilletoniste This was my last written one! Just my oral and then I'm done!
Kirby!
(Lapras is another of the first generation, but doesn't appear on this puzzle.)
I do have to say, however, that after misidentifying Bulbasaur in the beginning, it was quite amusing that the final piece that you couldn't place ended up going in Bulbasaur's final evolution. Gotta love those little ironies.
Oh, and obligatory "I wasn't going to say that Kirby isn't a pokemon, but apparently I have use the word Kirby in my comment anyway".
This was such a satisfying puzzle to watch! Something about those clearly defined characters plus the gradient just hits right 🙏
I was just looking up a video of yours when I saw you posted this one 24 seconds ago. This Pokémon nerd can't contain herself right now!
Just at the beginning and you saying baulbasaur is blue and then talking about jigglypuff like it was Kirby 😭❤️
It's blue-ish...though definitely not the one I pointed at 😂
This is my first time watching your puzzling channel and it's so good!! I didn't know you could put puzzles back like that! Amazing :) Thanks for making fun things :D
Happy New Year! I’m so happy to hear that you’re changing up your schedule and honestly, more power to you and here’s to a great puzzling year ahead.
Mime.
That’s actually Dewgong. The evolved form of seal.
@@skylergrace5068Oh thanks!
@@skylergrace5068 It's actually spelled seel

This one looks like fun! You know a lot more about Pokémon than I - after Pikachu I’m pretty much done!
I can't put in words why this channel is awesome.... but it is.😊
I have 0 interest in puzzles (at least that's what I thought) but here I am binge watching your channel. You are a doll, keep making videos.
Clicked for Pokemon, stayed for "Kirby"
As a Pokemon fan, that was genuinely really entertaining and funny!
Also, my favorite pokemon is Zubat, but since they're not on the puzzle, I'm gonna go with Psyduck (that's the yellow duck holding his head)
You are so much fun to watch!
My Dad (almost 93) does puzzles. I take his pic with each one.
I totally expected this to be a two-parter so it feels like a treat! My favorite Pokémon is Totoro :p
The amount of puzzle dust was amazing. I couldn't get myself to do a puzzle that big right now. My little 120 piece puzzles take me long enough as it is. I sure do like how it was kinda broken down to some color regions. ENjoyed
Hi Karen! I finally got the chance to get your 1027 piece puzzle! I'm so excited to do it, keep up the great work!
I hope you like it!
in my childhood, we glued the assembled puzzles with tape and hung them on the wall
