- Chris The Alfa Nut is taking a huge financial risk by expanding into an enormous new HQ for his Alfa Romeo channel. Cars crammed into this unit will include his Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio, Alfa GTV V6 3.0, Alfa Spider V6 3.0, Alfa 156 2.5 V6, Alfa 75 2.5 V6, Fiat X1/9, Lancia Beta Spyder 2.0 and Ducati Monster 1200S! How many of these prized classic cars will Chris have to sell, to keep the lights on and will his planned expansion happen in time? The clock is ticking - six months to go!

Good luck Chris! You could try some watered down PVA builders adhesive on the floors , applied with a roller on some of the smaller areas like the common room and main work bay to hold that dust back until you know what doing.
Thanks for the suggestion mate, luckily the main floor and work bays are already painted so the dust is from the unit being empty for several years but the “Canteen” needs to be treated for sure. I’d like some nice Persian rugs but that might be pricey! 😉😂

@@TheAlfaNut Pleasure. Big fan indeed. However, I sadly no longer own one after the engine went on my 2007 GT last year! Currently driving a Lexus IS 250 which I love but I long to own another Alfa one day. A Giulia preferably when I've got the money. I don't think my love for Alfa's will ever die!
Good to hear, the Lexus marque is a good one - hard to go wrong with the better Jap brands. Giulias are becoming very affordable now 👍🏻

Yep, it’s 5,500 square ft which is big enough to play football in! 😂. Bigger than I need but car RUclipsrs always run out of space - at least I’m buying myself some time 👍🏻

Why not go back to basics, why you love cars, what is it that gets under your skin and how they draw you in, regardless of cost or reliability just why you fall for them and the enjoyment they bring?

Sounds like fun - my only experience of single seaters was a Formula Ford (1600’s) day at Silverstone many years ago but what a blast! 😎

@@TheAlfaNut A 2007 Spider, 2.2 185HP that my wife insisted to buy for me in 2019 (I love my wife and my spider). A unit from one only former owner. And I have a very similar Alfa light as yours in 0:48 which is your new ANCOF (Alfa New Circle of comFort 😊). Keep focused on that light, Chris.
By the way, my Spider sleeps in a rented park lote. I dream of building my private garage for up to 5-6 cars in my garden as I live in a country side house… but still saving for it.
Your place looks fabulous, plenty of room and different areas. The two lightened ones seem to be the perfect showrooms for cars standing, Did you imagine the same as me?

@@TheAlfaNut it’s a dream unit for a car nut and I think many of us will be following with interest. I own one of a handful of 916 GTV V6s delivered new in Ireland, it’s been in storage now for many years as I’m working abroad but I love any Alfa content.
Nice, the V6 GTV is one of my favourites - I’m going to finish off the resto on mine this year now I have the space! My 1998 156 V6 spent the first 5 years of its life in Belfast, registered to the Belfast Telegraph newspaper - someone there had good taste! 😉👍🏻

I think you’ll have great success with this channel if you dedicate the time to producing good content and crucially, consistently. A new video every few months will never get the following you need. You’d need to be posting once a week minimum. I hope it all works out as you have a great fleet and now the set up to do it. Working on the cars themselves as well as buying and selling seems to get most peoples interest.

I have already committed to uploading at least one full-length video every week and some shorts in between and more if I can manage it. I am also building a team to work with me, including a videographer and a skilled mechanic to help out with the rebuild work. Also hoping to rope in my two teenage boys if the Wife will allow it! My lease is quite restrictive due to the surroundings and sadly “no public access” is one of them. Having said that, I am thinking of having a “Spend the Day with the Alfa Nut” type competition later in the Autumn and making an episode about the days activities! 👍🏻
