I wish EBay would just be more transparent about the issues they are having and when things happen to really hurt our sales. Instead we are left guessing as to what is the problem and how to fix it. So frustrating! I agree that they could do so much more for loyal sellers.

eBay will be “offering” additional promotional opportunities. Promoting your store, promoting on google, and I forgot what the 3rd one will be. Squeezing the Sellers last blood drops out of their dead souls. Sellers will keep paying and working even harder for a few dollars eBay will allow you get. Everyone needs to start cross posting and boosting the other website’s popularity. Your going to die a slow death if your only listing. On eBay. I’m closing my store next year and building up my Mercari presence. As of 8/26 Mercari 75 sales eBay 22 sales. I only have 300 listings on Mercari and 650 listings on eBay.

The entire plot of Ralph Breaks the Internet was based around eBay. I think they tried to get the younger generation in a multitude of ways but they did not integrate into the daily routine of young kids quick enough.

I’ve had two transactions in just over a week that would’ve been cancelled by the buyer but for some good communication and luckily lovely customers! Both sales over $100 so I woulda been mad if they’d had to cancel. One the pay now link was just a greyed out button and the other eBay was trying to add an extra 10% on the sale at checkout. It really shouldn’t be this hard. 28 years you’ve had to get this stuff together eBay, yet it feels like you’re still on training wheels!

If you have a niche, the main thing you sell, creating the repeat buyer is it. I send a thank you note with instructions that if they would like to buy more sports apparel or shoes in the future I can sell for a better price paid thru paypal. I might not make a lot more I just pass the fees savings on to the customer. So one guy who bought 1 jersey. Bought 3. And just ordered 4 more. A lady bought 1. And now ordered 2 more and wanst some for the whole family for Xmas. A guy I sold to 6 months ago, hits me up, buys 4. If I could just about double what I have now in repeat buyers, I could only use ebay for the niche items that sell well on there.

I've had to ship to Inuit communities in Nunavut, Yukon Territory and The North West Territories in Canada. It cost me $70 to ship a screwdriver to Kugaaruk, Nunavut :D

jesus. I wish we could exclude provinces just like we exclude countries.
on your live show when I mentioned about ebay helping us at the point of listing I guess I should have been more clear that a pop up box is what I meant to serve as a warning. I've literally been talking about this on my channel for months and have mentioned it to ebay vero's dept at least 6 different occasions and they all are like "wow, that is such a good idea" but it never gets implemented.
