Great minds think alike! I played this build to level 7 and it was the most fun I’ve had playing a sorcerer. Great all rounder, offense, defense, utility and social.
I honestly don't have anything against this build well done 👍
The only thing I can think off is that it's sad that all of the other awesome build variants won't come to pass.
With Tasha Swaps, you can gain proficiency instead of Light & Medium Armor, opt for Heavy Armor & Shield. With your small investment DEX, this is what I would've gone with, and having STR at an 8. If your DEX was a bit higher (@14) I wouldn't mind Medium Armor. @16 DEX, I would've suggested Medium Armor Master. Any higher DEX and maybe could've just gone Mage Armor.
You mentioned wearing heavy armor. Even though dwarfs aren't affected by the movespeed penalty for not having the strength for Heavy armor you still aren't proficient with it either. That means disadvantage on all STR/DEX Ability check, saving throw or attack AND you are unable to cast spells. (Under armor proficiency rules)

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor. You also gain proficiency in the Intimidation or Persuasion skill (your choice)
