- I'm back!!! After intense amounts of work for more than a week, I am back with a new episode of Remarkable Engines with everyone's favorite locomotive! Since most of the work I have is done, I can start to focus more on making more episodes of this series, and uploading more frequently.

I never thought a specific locomotive could essentially become a meme.
The truly remarkable loco for VTR/GM, is the ALCO RS1,405-- which was an original RUTLAND loco, and has ran for its ENTIRE life in Vermont.
As luck would have it, I also made an episode of Remarkable Engines on Green Mountain 405 a few years ago. Should be a few episodes after this one.
Haven't heard much about this rail-riding celebrity! Thanks for the video!
FEC actually Ordered ES44C4's not ES44AC's
2:10 it's pronounced WU-ster.
the part that you said that they were the only SD70M-2 built is false. CN, FEC and NS also owned a bunch. Although Norfolk Southern retired their units
1:55 No, those are ES44C4s. Also there are 24 of them, 800-823.
Thanks for the correction.
Do Lehigh Valley 2779
What happened to the FEC SD70M-2’s that had the rail America scheme?
I think they're owned by Rail America and all four are currently stored at Decatur, IL with an unknown fate.
Pensyfan19 personally I liked 104-107 (the Rail America scheme units) more then 100-103 (the ARR scheme units)
@@SpotterPepsi I can see that.
Pensyfan19 I also really liked 140, which was a CITX Ex-Montana rail link SD70M-2

The photo shop wasn't much of a love for it, but a trashing of a certain individual that takes photos of the equipment.. Regardless, you can polish a turd, but at the end of the day, it's still a turd.
not really sure how I got here... guess that's enough YT for the day.
I can’t tell who’s who :0 4:52
