In the first of a three (and a half)-part series, we'll be looking at a handful of trains at Croton Harmon Series that I filmed just before attending the Croton Harmon Shops Open House. Since I arrived just before the 11:30 slot, I had enough time to railfan a southbound Metro North express and local depart the station, as well as a northbound Amtrak Empire Service with Pullman lounge Dover Harbor carrying a DC NRHS charter. Also included is some extra footage of MN Conrail heritage unit 201 pulling into Croton Yard after leaving the Fall Foliage train later that day, as I wasn't able to catch 201 leaving the station as my foliage train came in earlier.
