  • A visit to the Railroad Museum of Long Island in Riverhead results in a wide variety of model trains and a handful of real ones too. The video starts with a quick catch of a westbound LIRR Greenport Scoot passing by the abandoned Calverton station, as the trainset just left Riverhead before I arrived and I wasn't sure as to when I would see the set again. After arriving at the Riverhead RMLI, I proceeded to check out the outdoor G Gauge layout, and then checked out the inside of Caboose C68 and the GP38 cab before heading to the various model train layouts in O gauge, HO Gauge, and even Z Gauge. I then proceeded to go into the potato barn, where, after a presentation on LIRR electrified branches from 1905 to 1955, I decided to visit the Lionel Visitors Center Layout (as seen on I Love Toy Trains) before finally heading out to the yard, where I just so happened to catch the same Greenport Scoot from the cab of the preserved M1.
Also, since this is a compilation of nothing but video footage, this could quite possibly be the longest amount of time a video took to upload, since the file size is a whopping 22.7 GB.
