I agree totally. Fuck the emissions bullshit. Nothing but a money grab, and a way to put the hard working guys out of business! These guys are just trying to survive like anyone else. Instead of making people 'update' to all these strictly compliant engines, or forcing them to buy a new rig, they should focus on more pressing issues that are going on in this world. Not everyone has deep pockets to just replace their equipment like its nothing. The reliability goes way down when all the emissions crap gets stuck on. No thanks.
@@1wtrahan I know, right. I'm not even from California but my aunt, uncle and a whole bunch of my cousins live in National City and Bonita. I have been out to visit, but I definitely don't think I'd be able to live there and really drive what I have/ want. CARB and the DMV would probably make a small fortune on me. Everything I ever touch(ed) is modified at least in some way. Some less, others much more, (I used to do a good amount of track car prep and lots of performance work.) Shit, if I was to try and operate out there, they would probably put me out of business and lock me up!!! I guess my question is for the guys who mod they're cars/ trucks, how the hell do you get away with it? Theres no way every aftermarket part carries a CARB certificate so I'm just curious if theres some sort of loophole maybe??? Either way, that whole emissions thing is still a bunch of BS.
Pete Savel I agree , I know exactly what you mean , yep CA not for me I’m in the same boat ,I be damn they tell me what I can drive at lease my state don’t stress that small stuff , good luck
U may take it over most trucks now days.... but how many port entries would stop you & pull you in?!?! & with that smoke blowing out.. any rolling DOT would love seeing you!! $$$ but it is a nice truck!!
Im a Peterbuilt dude, but those old KW's are sick af. My dad had one before he switched to Peterbuilt, and I loved how it rode. Its a beast! And that old KW interior is legendary too!
That old truck will still probably be tearing up highway after the most of these new trucks are in a junk yard. They sure don't build things to last anymore.
@@kman-mi7su the new ones are plastic toys that won’t go beyond 200.000 miles without imploding or choking on their def and egr chocked bullshit aka piss fluid 😂😂😂
A true “large car”. The epitome!! Allotta guys wouldn’t even know what they’re looking at here. I’d take THAT truck over 10 brand new ones. Without hesitation..... Nuff said.
And as soon as it breaks down, the cost of replacing parts on that year model truck... $$ I bet youd think twice after few thousand.... but yes it's a nice truck!
Ive done a couple builds the last one took 3 years part time, thousands not hundreds of hours, this A Model is surely in the thousands of hours book, Very Very Nice!
Wow what a beautiful kw an I am a peterbuilt man very nice truck my man very nice love the ole school can't beat there looks or stance out on the road 2 thumbs up
Beautiful truck nice piece of history also there was a time when Peterbilt‘s,Freightliners and Kenny‘s ran this world now modern BS Volvos and ugly freightliners are it’s sad to see The evolution of trucking
Yes, the Cats were white years ago, but not sure for how long. I do know from experience the they were so much more powerful and reliable. Of the 3 trucks we had with Cats, they out pulled any of the other trucks we ran with or owned. The bad thing is that we no longer have those Cat trucks....wish we DID! Ok, this truck has bling, but give us some more of it. I’m gonna look this rig up if I can. 🤩
Thats a damn work of art. Love those classics
This is a real truck. No DEF..no BS However This is the truck the government doesn't want you to have .
Government should mind their own business
