Yes I’m finding it very nice to use, the rules are also excellent the smaller one seems a bit thin but I don’t mind that. I’m unsure of how they make them but really easy to see the markings.. brilliant 👌

Hi Billy if your tape (rule) is same as mine the numbers on the back are conversions inches millimeter and the small set at the bottom are Drill size for Taps. As I have been going to Japan for 20+ years I now find the tools are far superior than western style. The best thing about pull saws is there are always the job where you need to cut close to a wall or tight space but cannot do it or find it extremely awkward if right handed. Using pull saw solves this problem and you will find it very easy to cut.
They do have secondhand stores over there that sell tools of all types so well worth a visit if you can get there, I use INAI which is similar to our B&Q but far superior

I’ve got some Japanese saws and I love them.. to be honest all the Japanese stuff seems a level above and I’ll be buying more of it.
Some of my future videos will involve chisels etc and I’m super impressed with the feedback on them so I’ll be badgering my mrs to buy me some.
Thank you for the info 👌

I just bought an electronic caliper for $10 at harbor freight. I wasn’t sure how useful it would be but now I’ve used it several times since buying it. I bought the rasp on your recommendation and it has worked well on several cedar jack o lantern projects. Thanks for the great suggestions!

The rasp is superb.. the rulers are also fantastic.. I was really surprised, they are thin stainless steel but super quality 👌
