How did I miss this? Oh, my- this is truly beautiful! I love everything about it! Well done!!! I don’t mind sanding, either. Everything is practice, especially if it’s a hobby. Practice, practice and safety, right?
I enjoy watching your projects from USA. A couple of pointers. It is much safer to get that table saw down out of your chest and closer to belly button. And a quick pointer on glue squeeze out use a plastic drinking straw. It scrapes the glue out of the corner and collects inside the straw.absolutely the best gluing up trick I ever learned. Keep up the good work. You are lucky to have a good looking redheaded helper to stain your projects. We are not all that lucky.😂❤
I’m actually going to be making a table lower down, this was always a temporary measure. I’ll definitely try the straw / glue tip sometimes the easiest things are the best so thank you. I’ll pass on the regards to Shelley.. she’s doing her own project this Sunday 👌
@thewoodjunki thanks for the tip. I think I am going to try to angle the legs so it's wider at the top and becomes narrow at the base. Thanks again, keep putting out the great content!
Nice project, mate! This one’s definitely getting scribbled down in my 'Upcoming / Inspirational Projects' journal. I need to sort out my workspace before jumping into any projects, but I’m looking forward to creating again once the move and organization are done! Keep up the good work!
Looks nice. Using Figure 8 or Z connectors is still best practice for attaching table tops. If the expansion and contraction of the top is significant enough the legs could pop loose. They are only glued with no mechanical fasteners after all.
Keep them coming mate, I know what you mean about going through the pain, and how awkward it is for yeah with the arthritis, I’ve had a shoulder replacement and it makes it difficult sometimes with limited movement 😢, but talking about the project that drove you bonkers at every turn I tried my hand at honeycombed shelving, turned out alright in the end but never again all it was was thirty degree miters but they just wouldn’t go together properly…🤯. Shame you can’t put piccies in the comments….
I’m looking at doing a project with 30 degree mitres… I just know it will be a pain.. It’s tough when there’s constant pain but you just have to push the brain to overcome it 👌

Great design. I love the look of the split legs, I'll have to build something similar
Thank you 👌 if you make one do the legs a bit thicker , the boards are 1cm thick but could have done with 1.5cm ideally
@thewoodjunki thanks for the tip. I think I am going to try to angle the legs so it's wider at the top and becomes narrow at the base. Thanks again, keep putting out the great content!
@@mdubz727 no problem, I wish I could get to see some of my subscribers builds..
