@emma. Though I kinda agree, I mean, that is one large feather to have in your cap! I’d bet that millions more (in his pocket!) have heard the sporting event (and Chicago Bulls theme song) anthem “Serious.” It’s been played a gazillion times. And heard by so many more. I’ll take this, (Day After Day) The Show Must Go On and Time though. They do it for me! And check this out…I wonder if Alan was tipping his hat to Pink Floyd when writing a song with the same name as the gem off of Dark Side with “Time.”
One thing I like about this concert ( and I absolutely loved this concert) is that Alan shows off all the talent in the musicians on stage with him. None are in the background. I really like Alastair's voice on this track
One of several "under-rated" groups of it's time. Deserves much more credit than it has gotten over the years. But I got to see him live before. Awesome performance.
I agree, even though I discovered them fairly recently I already love their music immensely. Hope I get to see them live someday, watching this video was downright euphoric :)
don´t forget eric woolfson. the half of this fantastic band-project. without their wonderful compositions nothing had been the same. the alan parsons project must be called the parsons woolfson project. said this, i love this group.
Alastair Greene is the lead guitarist and singer in this one, he sang and performed for the Alan Parsons project often when they were touring. I think he was very good at it!
Alan Parsons Project debuted their "The Raven" and "I wouldn't Want To Be Like You" back in the 1970s preceding Pink Floyd's total songs albums "Animals" and "The Wall!" 1975-1979 (also my high school years) I really lived when rock music artists knew how to do it! 👍
I can't speak for all young people, but I'm in high school currently and I LOVE The Alan Parsons Project. They're currently my favorite band (all-time favorite is Journey) and I pretty much listen to them at least once every day :)
No drummer makes a song, they just fill in the gaps and makes you move or sit. They bring everything together, along with the bass player .they are the back bone of the song
It had a lot to do with the chemistry of the people and the beautiful country he was playing in something magical about Colombia and Alan Parsons made it that much better

@@michaelkimbal3262 ... You are correct! When I first heard this song living in the 1970s I could never erase this tune ever from my mind. Alan Parcans Project knocked everything else they composed I think from this tune ... Made me buy that "House of Cards" album since! 😑
A pair of head phones with Alan Parsons Project playing will carry you into another dimension. Nothing like it.
Amen, this album more than any other one he did
The Alan Parsons Project is the only group I listen to where I don't skip any of their "okay" songs to get to the good ones. They're ALL brilliant.
Amen
@@aaronrepp8182 Not only is the music pure genius, the lyrics are as well.
I agree with you. The whole group is multi-talented.
@@SusieRed Give me a call my gorgeousness. We will not skip the songs together.
I feel that way about Pink Floyd.
Literally the best bass player gig is with The Alan Parsons Project bar none!
The drum Line, the bass line, the keyboard. This is how you know Alan Parsons was a sound engineering master
He helped write or produce back in the day, not sure which though
@@matthewbailey8588 Engineering Pink Floyd- Dark Side of The Moon is his biggest credit

Melody was unforgetable awesome timlesse bye
Alan Parsons is one of the best live acts ever. They really kick ass.
one of those times when it ALL comes together to render “perfection”. love this!
One thing I like about this concert ( and I absolutely loved this concert) is that Alan shows off all the talent in the musicians on stage with him. None are in the background. I really like Alastair's voice on this track
Expect nothing less from a man as classy as him
Yes. You said it best!
Absolutely
@RogerWilco99 Understood and agreed, but that's what happens to bands over the years. Members come and go.....is Lenny still alive?
He stays in the background the whole time and lets the others take front stage. Classy.
Amazing!!! 40 years later and The Music still sounds as good, or better than it did 40 years ago!!!
drummer is so cool, don't normally notice the drummer but this guy plays full of passion
yeah well im not sure about that, is it supposed to be a red hot chili pepper song or alan parsons? a bit too much for my taste
The Best Music in All of History was done in the 70s and this group leads the pack
The greatest music came from the 70's without a doubt.
THAT HAS NEVER BEEN A QUESTION OR DOUBT!!! 💯👍🏽
